I find the UC really interesting and all, but as for favorite I'm going to have to go AU.

To which series are you referring to by AU? Because:
Gundam Wing is AC (After Colony)
Gundam After War is AW (After War)
Gundam AGE is AG (Advanced Generation)
Gunam 00 is AD (Anno Domini)

To which series are you referring to by AU? Because:

Gundam AGE is AG (Advanced Generation)
Gunam 00 is AD (Anno Domini)

I meant in general I prefer the non-UC series' to the UC ones. I wasn't really referring to one in particular...

No worries, I can see where it could've been confusing. ^-^

Its alright. I enjoy a lot of the alternate universes, and I heard fairly recently that they will be revisiting the G Gundam timeline and creating a new show. Likely during the war that took place before G Gundam.

Not so much time travel as different creative versions of a far future. Sorta like how you have apocalyptic distopia or futuristic utopia films set to take place in the real world.
