"Really?" Dreidyn let out a groan. Bad luck was plaguing her today and the other trainer really wanted to lower Lotus's defense for some reason. Now that the confusion wore off without a hitch with the Ponyta, they'd have to put it back on. "Use Supersonic!"
Lotus winced as the Iron Tail smacked her again, rendering her previous defense buff useless. She flapped her wings furiously, resuming the high-pitched confusion inducing whine.

Rasha shook her head. That loud obnoxious whine hurt! She was sure Shina was saying something, but the buzzing in her ears made it hard to hear. Rasha really wanted to swat the Flygon, so she gathered her energy and blasted it at the buzzing menace.

"Way to go!" Dreidyn cheered Lotus on. Not only was the opponent confused again, the condition was actually being useful to them. "Now quick, before she come back to it, Steel Wing!"
Lotus had braced herself for another Solarbeam but luckily the attack exploded in the Ponyta's face. She landed a distance away and steeled herself with her own attack.

((You can't do that. You may only have a total of four buffs/debuffs. I'd suggest striking out your post, since deleting is bad, and posting an alternate course of action in a new post.))

With a loud 'oof!' Lotus was launched backwards by the Solarbeam once more. She was knocked into one of the electric pillars which thankfully didn't shock her but the attack was still a nasty one. Or maybe it was because this battle has been going on for quite some time and she was starting to feel the effects of it.
"Hang in there!" Dreidyn said. "Use Sand Tomb now!"
Lotus shook off the damage and took off into the air. She kicked up some more sand and formed another twister with the rapid beating of her wings.

The pillar of stinging sand blasted into Rasha. She trumpeted her defiance to the wind that carried the sand.
"Rasha,shake it off and hit her with Iron Tail!" Shina called. Rasha whirled, hard tailed aimed at the Vibrava.

"Woohoo! Go Lotus!" Dreidyn cheered. With the lucky critical and the Ponyta still under confusion they might have a chance to win this! What a turn around! "Come on and hit her with everything you got! Another Sand Tomb!"
Encouraged by her trainer's words, Lotus whirled around Rasha even faster, not letting the sandy attack dissipate for even a second.

"Don't look at the flames!" Dreidyn shouted out. They were so close to victory and she was going to be made if Lotus fell asleep at the last minute! Thankfully she heard the advice and turned away from the hypnotic flames.
"That's it! Go for another Sand Tomb!" She commanded next. Lotus spun around and summoned another sand twister to attack Rasha with.

Shina recalled the slowly toppling Ponyta. "Good battle, thanks for the workout!" Shina called to the other trainer.
