She smiled with appreciation to his fine words. She would rather have someone compliment her on her physical prowess than her beauty, but she quite enjoyed any flavor of flattery. She had been born in this land and only knew of their mother realm through the stories her elders told her. They told her that the Flock used to be much larger, with the stallions much more docile and tame. The males of this new place didn't know their place in the world and were apparently much more rowdy, sometimes even after being in the Flock for some time. Compared to many of their callow new recruits, Morkin was a diamond in the rough. He had all the right qualities that a male should, he just needed shaping by the right claws.
"Why did you say you were wandering around, again? Taking a walk?" She gave him a coyly knowing look. "If that's so, you really should have a chaperone. There are many sisters who would be less forgiving than I to find an unaccompanied stallion."

Morkin blinked, his ears flicking up lightly as he stared toward the female. Giving a small noise of appreciation, he lowered his head in a sort of bow. She seemed to be rather pleased. And if she was, it meant Morkin was doing his job well. If he could please any of the Harpies, he would be happy. But to please someone such as Aquilina... He felt all the more happy to do so. At the mention of him wandering around, the stallion's ears shot up in attention. He forgot about that. And he was by himself... Which was, to a point, against Flock rules.
"Yes... I was going to see the Artisans Guild.. But you are right. I shouldn't be wandering about by myself." The stallion smiled lightly, his eyes flickering, locking on her, ears perked. He moved a bit closer, though was careful as how he moved, so as not to offend her. "Would you grace me with your presence, to the Guild, Mistress?" He asked, voice soft, gentle.

"I would be rather remiss if I allowed you to wander around on your own." She was getting more smug by the minute. She was even starting to seriously consider laying an official claim on Morkin. She doubted anyone would contest her presently for him, but later they would regret it. He didn't have claws but he had the determination to better himself.
"I do believe that the artisan's guild is this way?" She gestured with a claw and moved forward, watching for him to follow.

Morkin's eyes flickered, watching her. He smiled, giving his tail a slight flick, his ears perking up rather attentively. He inclined his head in a sort of nod, agreeing with her to a point, before shifting to walk forward slowly, following behind her like a good stallion. But that wasn't all that was on his mind. He would please her, fulfill her every wish if he must, just to be able to achieve the goal of pleasing her, like he wanted to do for any mare. But for some reason, Aquilina was growing on him.
"Yes, Mistress Aquilina. I do believe you are right." He said, his voice lowering to a gentle tone, while he walked behind her. His eyes followed her movements, observing her. If he stayed close, he would eventually memorize how she acted and reacted to different things. It would be a new goal of his.
