(( Welcome back Mizaka! <3 Kyle might get ideas... btw, you promised she'd beat him up this time. emotion_awesome
Chaoe: Howdidyouknow He is pretty nice. : D I used to rent the Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology game all the time, so I figured I should see if I still like it as much as I used to~ ))
Kiah started pouring herself another glass when Mizaka walked in, and after remembering what she'd heard about during the last party, hid the bottle behind Kyle. From her expression, Kiah figured she wouldn't be going near the man any time soon. "Happy St. Patrick's day Mizaka! I see you two have met..." She smiled warily, knowing he probably irritated her already. "... I suppose it's for the best then... like ripping off a band aid..."
Kyle smiled back at her after shooting Kiah another glare, saying, "It's nice to meet you too, Chaoe." He was about to say more, but was cut off when Mizaka came in, giving her his signature charming smile. "Come on, Mizaka baby.~ You remember my name, don't you? You can't be that forgetful~."
Kiah leaned in closer to Chaoe after slapping a hand to her face in exasperation, pointing her thumb in the direction of the other two occupants in the room. "That's why... Anyway, I've never seen a travelling storyteller before... Was it fun?" She tilted her head a bit, having noticed the same thing. "I have no idea... but we did see a few people chasing a shorter man with red hair."

((Oh, it's gonna happen alright. Just wait~))
Mizaka scowled when Kyle addressed her.
"Oh, I remember your name, all right. I just didn't think you deserved to be properly addressed by me." She turned away from him and faced Kiah. "Unfortunately, yes. Is it true you're in an open relationship with him?" Mizaka already knew the answer to that question, but wanted to confirm it with Kiah. She listened to Kiah's conversation with Chaoe and her heart suddenly felt as if it had dropped into the pit her stomach.
"Did you say...a short man with red hair...?"

(Sounds awsome O: )
Chaoe cocked her head to the side, still not quite sure. She nodded at Kiah's question. "Yes! He told stories from far away places and sang songs while playing a strange string instrument, but it sounded so smooth and calm." She blinked, "Was he wearing green too? Do you think one could have gotten into the order- how did it get in-" A sudden realization hit her, she sighed deeply and made a tired face. "..Komui.."
She looked back over at Kyle and Mizaka curiously, watching the two. Their conversation reminded her of a certain samurai, clown, and rabbit trio, she stiffled a laugh but couldn't hold it after a minute, she laughed cutely, wiping her eyes which were starting to water.
She nodded when Mizaka asked about the short man with red hair, still trying to stop laughing.

(( I'm cackling right now, you have no idea. ))
"Ouch. I'll just have to try harder to get you to say my name then.~" He smirked at her until she turned to Kiah, causing him to slowly get up and move away from the drinking girl. She knew that he used her to try and make other girls jealous, but she usually ended up more irritated with him when she was drunk.
Kiah looked at Mizaka blankly before turning her sights on her retreating friend and staring at him. She kept the smirk off her face in favor of watching him squirm at her expressionless face, addressing Mizaka after a few more seconds. "That would be false. He enjoys telling other girls that we are to see if it makes them want him more. It's quite idiotic when you think about it."
Joining the conversation from a distance, Kyle nodded to Mizaka's question. "Yep. You don't think it could actually be a..." He trailed off before scowling at Kiah's laidback attitude. "We went on a date... once." He looked at Chaoe in confusion, wondering what caused the sudden onslaught of laughter.
"That sounds fun! I hope that I'll have a chance to meet one someday..." she smiled happily, wanting to run outside and see if she could hear any songs right away. She glared at Kyle a bit, ready to throw her nearly empty bottle at him. "One. And we both agreed that it was weird." She chuckled a bit at Chaoe's laughter, finding it contagious. "You guys can't be thinking it's a leprechaun... they don't exist!"

Mizaka felt quite proud of herself as she watched Kyle squirm away from Kiah's glare. At least she now knew one of his weaknesses.
"Yeah, I didn't think so. Can't really imagine what kind of girl would want to be in an relationship with someone like him, anyway." She was slightly confused by Chaoe's sudden burst of laughter, but it made her happy to see that the young girl was at least enjoying herself.
"Don't exist?" Mizaka stared blankly at Kiah for a minute. "You've obviously never been to Ireland, my friend. That place is swarming with them. And I honestly hope it's not a Leprechaun, because I had to deal with a herd of them last year and it's not something I want to repeat this year..."

Chaoe stopped laughing, "Miss Kiah, we deal with akuma, there's ghosts around here and we've dealt with tons of strange creatures becaus of Komui. Yet you're denying the existance of a short man with red hair that can grant wishes if caught?" She pouted childishly, "That's a little weird if you ask me."
She glanced at Mizaka, worried. "That sounds like it must have been awful."
She looked at the floor, but then her head shot up. "Oh! I have an idea!" She grinned and held the book up, "Why don't we all take turns and read some stories? It'll be fun! I could play my fiddle too, to help with the mood." She smiled brightly.

[[ Aaaand, back to normal, since I was bored~ 8D Hey, guys~ ]]
Cautiously, Michiyo peered into the Common Room, relieved to find familiar faces there. That morning, she had awoken with a start, gasping for breath. Once she had calmed down, a new form of panic had emerged: one born out of ignorance. The last thing she remembered was falling into the icy waters in the Gauntlett Run, and now here she was, waking up in her own bed, warm and dry - though a little underdressed for her liking. After a little investingating, she found out that she hadn't just forgotten the time between her accident, and waking up, but several days inbetween. Though... perhaps 'forgotten' wasn't the right word. If she concentrated hard enough, bits of memory swam in and out of focus, fragmented and vague, like trying to remember a dream after you had woken up.
No good would come out of staying in her room, and so Michiyo ventured into the castle, quickly discovering two things: everyone was wearing green, and chasing down what - from a distance and caught only in a millisecond - looking like a tiny man with red hair. A glance at a calender confirmed her suspicions: St. Paddy's.
Now, adorned in what few green accessories she had been able to dug up out of her closet, Michiyo took a deep breath and walked into the Common Room, sidling up alongside the people she knew. "Hey Kiah, Mizaka, Chaoe," she greeted each in turn, a small smile forming on her lips.

(( Welcome back Michi! <3
I feel like I'm taking forever to finish my posts... ))
"Well... he's alright when you've known him as long as I have...," she added, feeling bad for criticizing him so much. She does owe him quite a bit, after all. "He just need to learn how to turn off his "charm"." She used her fingers to make parentheses, showing exactly what she thought of that.
Kyle snuck up to Kiah and Mizaka slowly, appreciating the backup, even if it was coated in sarcasm. He looked excited upon hearing that she'd actually seen a leprechaun and popped up beside her, raising his voice a bit. "You've seen one?! They move in herds?! Do you have to be able to use your magic to see them?!" He stared her down with wide eyes, waiting for her response.
Kiah smiled softly at his childish behavior, taking another sip of her wine. She felt her cheeks heating up even more after drinking so much, scowling good naturedly at Chaoe's words. "I'm not denying the short man part, I just don't believe that he can grant wishes." She smiled at the girl's suggestion, nodding happily. "I think that would be fun.~"
"Sure, I'm fine with that. Maybe Mizaka and I can dance to your music when it's Kiah's turn.~" He was interrupted when Michiyo walked into the room, causing him to smile and wave. "Hey Michiyo.~ How are you today?~"
"Hey Michiyo. Do you want to join us in some storytelling?" Kiah smiled at the girl, noticing that she seemed to avoid Kyle this time around.

It's okay Kiah ; u; My internet keeps freezing so i'm probably slower. xD; )
Chaoe blinked, "Mmm..I guess thhat's true. But say if he WAS able to grant wishes, what would you wish for Miss Kiah?"
She looked over when Michiyo sat down, she was a bit worried since she hadn't seen the older girl for a while. She inched closer, smiling and hoping that she would accept Kiah's invite.

((Welcome back, Michi~))
"Storytelling sounds like fun," said Mizaka as she smiled at Chaoe. At least there was one fun thing they could do during this holiday. She looked at Kyle, surprised at his sudden childish glee. She never expected him to get so interested in something like this.
"Well, they don't actually move in herds. They're mostly solitary creatures, but will band together if they feel threatened. I've learned that the hard way when one of my idiotic friends decided to go Leprechaun hunting last year. I never thought facing a herd of little people would be so frightening...and no, you don't need Magic to see them. Anyone can see them, though they sometimes make themselves invisible."
Mizaka looked at Kiah with the same look as before. "Oh, they can grant wishes. They're related to Fairies, after all."
She looked back at Kyle and scowled at him. "As if anyone would want to dance with you." She looked up to see that Michiyo had joined them. "Hello, Michiyo."

At least the others didn't seem too worried about her health, which was heartening and worrysome at the same time. She had explained her missing days to herself - how else would she be able to leave the room - that she had probably been recuperating from the accident.
Michiyo was suprised to find someone new with the group, though he did look awefully familiar. When he greeted her with a smile and a wave, not to mention her name, she gave him puzzled look, "Er... Hello. I'm... doing alright?" she answered, frowning as she tried to figure out where she had seen him before.
She was glad for the distraction in the form of Kiah and Chaoe and the suggestion of storytelling, "Sure," she grinned, settling into her seat on the couch, "I'm in the mood for some good stories."

(( Oh geez... DX Why is that?
See you later Jack! <3 ))
Kiah downed the rest of her glass to delay answering Chaoe's question, wondering the same thing. "Well... If he could, I'd probably wish away a few scars... Or get a lifetime supply of grape juice... Why am I not drinking that instead?" she asked while squinting at her glass, as if expecting it to fill itself up.
Kyle twitched a bit at Kiah's answer, realizing she was getting drunk enough not to notice what she'd said. He turned back to Mizaka, still wanting to know more. "So where do they usually live? People hunt them? They can turn invisible?! How?! You've seen fairies too?!" Pausing in his questioning, he gave Michiyo a confused look, wondering why she seemed to not recognize him. He was distracted by Mizaka's insult, though, and didn't say much else on the matter. "Hey, I'll have you know I'm a great dancer!"
"... I've gotta give him that one," Kiah shrugged and raised her glass in acknowledgement, taking another sip before smiling at Michiyo. "Good to hear. You wanna go first?"

"Oh, er.. alright," Michiyo answered, a bit startled as she had not expected to be the first one to tell a story. She had still been scrutinizing the young man, who was eagerly interrogating Mizaka. She thought for a moment, searching for something to tell.
"Alright then," she finally began, "Since it's St. Paddies and all, I thought it might be nice to tell an Irish legend?
It's the story of how Aengus, the handsome young god of love and youth found his own love. One night, when he lay sleeping, Aengus dreamt of the most beautiful maiden he had ever laid eyes on and he instantly fell deeply in love with her. Upon awakening, he wanted desperately to find this mysterious woman who he now loved. He first sent out his mother, Boann, who searched for a whole year, but was unable to find her. His father Dagda, in turn, searched through all of Ireland, but could not find his son's love either. The young god started to despair, but at last Bodb Dearg, King of Munster, found the maiden Aengus had been searching for - Caer.
They were not yet to be together though. The King took him to where the girl could be found, and there, on a lake, Aengus discovered 150 maidens, all chained together. His darling love, Caer, was one among them. The young women were to be transformed into swans, for one whole year, and swim in the lake. Aengus was of course distraught by this news, but also determined to wait for the love of his life. There was, however, a catch.
If, after one year, Aengus was able to recognize Caer in her swan form, would they be able to be united. The year lasted a lifetime for the young god, but he remained steadfast to his love, and soon the day was upon him to return to the lake and finally find his รก stor. The 150 swans circled around on the lake, to the ignorant onlooker all identical, but to Aengus it was obvious - his Caer was the most radiant and beautiful swan of them all, and he easily picked her out of the mass of white feathers.
The rules are never as transparant as they seem. When Aengus adressed the correct swan as his beloved, he was himself instantly transformed into a swam, and they were finally together."
She finished, taking a breath and also a sip of wine - gratefully poured from Kiah's bottle - to get rid of the dry feeling in her mouth, "Well, there you have it. I guess there's always a twist, huh? Still, I guess it counts as a happy ending."
