"I have died once and I don't intend for it to happen again anytime soon." Right now she was still as vulnerable and fragile as a mortal, it would take time and support still before she could truly come into her own strength again. "Being as close as we are to mortals right now some of us feel time far more than you would think." She, like others that were mortal bound, still had to sleep and eat, lest she run herself to exhaustion. "And I will still change somewhat, as I become more powerful again."
Tien got the feeling that she had missed the point that Ser had been trying to make with all this. She would ask about it later once her friend was settled in more comfortably. "I wouldn't abandon you ever Ser, so you don't have to worry about that." There is always the chance of it, no one is safe really. "I do think if he and I had changed at the same time it might not be so awkward between us. It would have been a shared experience rather than something to rip the proverbial rug out from under the other." She thought of Crispin, with Shaiming's gem already fused to his skin. It felt like a lifetime ago even though it had only been a handful of years now. He and her host-self had shared so much together, even in that small space of time. She let go of the reins with one hand to brush the beginning of tears from her eyes. There was no point in crying now, what was past could not be undone.
"I love him still, but he does not know what to think of me. Things will work out or they won't." There was no forcing change, she knew it even if it had taken a talking to from Rio to get it through her skull. All she could do, and had done, was offer the olive branch and let him make the choice. There was still the not so small matter of what she had not admitted to him outright. She needed to tell him somehow, if only to ease his sorrow. Morgan was not dead really...just changed. She and her host-self were one in the same. If only it had not taken through the near ending of the worlds to figure it out. Running from him in the beginning had been a mistake too- but hindsight is always 20-20 as they say.
..
It took some time but eventually they reached the edge of the town Tien called home. She tugged on the reins gently, stopping Mocha at the top of a hill overlooking the town. The sky was beginning to lighten and the first of the early risers were out in the streets. Mostly those vying for prime stalls at the market. She drew her mana in, taking on her usual human guise- her hair turned auburn and curly, her wings and the points on her ears disappeared. "Don't worry, they are friendly folk for the most part." Trickery nudged Mocha in the side gently and turned her toward the path leading down to the town. "They do not know who, or what, I am. My name is Nancy here."

Ser shook her head. “Doesn’t matter if you intend to it’s the mental damage it will do that important.” She could feel tears threatening to overflow from her eyes. She knew she should just tell Tien that she had a gem but she couldn’t. She closed her eyes trying to force herself to relax a little more. Not having her inner self to fight with had her more on edge then she uses to be. “If you don’t change your no better than dead so that doesn’t matter.” She was almost twitching not being able to fidget enough as she held onto Tien.
She sighed a little shrugging to herself. I didn’t ask to not be abandoned I asked to stay close to her. She waited for the second guess or reprimands but they didn’t come, not even the new strange voice. She shook her head again. “I guess. I don’t really get all this I guess. Morgy is just Morgy. Even if you were to change completely you’d still be you. You aren’t gone your just becoming what your suppose to be right?” She squeezed her friend a little tighter for a moment. “How long have you even known what to think of yourself? Give it time Morgy. He’ll come around your too good of a catch to let go completely.” She leaned on Tien her eye closed just paying attention to movement of the horse as they rode on.

.Ser looked up watching Tien’s form change again. So cool. “I guess I won’t be able to do as many makeovers now that you can do them on command.” She peeked over Tien’s shoulder resting her chin on Tien’s should as they road risking watching the spinning world come right at her. “This look familiar I must have just been walking in giant circles I think I was year a year or so ago for a day or so.” She giggled a little. “Nancy...why Nancy?

"Just because I can does not stop me from doing things the mortal way."
"Anansi, the trickster spider god." Perhaps Ser would remember who that was, perhaps not. Leave it to Tien to pull names from human folklore- at least Morgan's love of mythology had served her well in that respect. Soon enough Ser was bound to find out just how many names Tien answered to. The poor woman would probably be confused if she tried to keep track of them all.
Since there were few people about this early it did not take long to get to the Trickster's home, weaving a path through side streets and back alleys. She brought Mocha to stop in front of a three story building that looked like it might have been a hostel at one point. Aside from fixing things up the only thing they had added was a stable off to the left so Mocha would have a roof over her head as well.
"Well, this is it. What do you think?"
