Des' eyes widened when the knife went into his chest. He looked down at his little brother, tears in his eyes. Jason whimpered, watching as his brother fell down to the ground, his heart no longer beating. Jason bent down and sniffled, pressing his tiny hand to the male's cheek. "D-Dessy..." The boy cried. He looked up at the thirteen year old boy and whimpered, his soft, pouting lips quivering. "M-make him wake up..."

Darren watched Jason lean and cry over his brother. The teen raised a brow and looked at the boy. "Make him wake up? He's dead. He'll never wake up," he said and got closer, raising the blade to the small boy, ready to do the same to him as he did to his brother.

Jason shook his head slowly, looking up at the other male. He had beautiful, dark brown eyes - Just like dark chocolate. Tears dripped down the boys cheek and he cried softly, holding his stuffed bunny close. "M-make brother wake up! Wakey now!" He cried. He couldn't be without his brother... He just couldn't. It made him feel so empty and scared.

Darren looked into the boy's beautiful eyes and let his arm fall to his side. The teen sighed and stood up. "He's dead. Dead people sleep forever. You'll learn when you're older," he said and walked off to his own home. Or, what he called home.

It had been ten years since the whole thing, but Jason still hadn't gotten over it. Not one bit. He was still usually depressed about it and he had made a promise to find the killer one day and take revenge. Jason was on his way to his job, only a small little job in a cafe, serving coffee and tea to customers for very little money. But it got him doing something other than sitting at home all day doing nothing with his life since he didn't go to school. Jason walked into the little cafe and quickly slipped off his coat before walking behind the counter.

After ten years passed, Darren was still a murderer, but did so on occasion. Other than that, he worked at a fairly large company, being paid a decent amount to be filthy rich. In fact, he was the owner of the company. The man walked into a small cafe that he always goes to and he ordered his usual. The man waited in line and checked his watch on occasion to see if he was going to be late for work or not.

Jason sighed, nodding once. A few minute's later, the male walked into the room with a coffee on a tray along with a biscuit and walked out towards the table the man sat at. Jason gave a small smile and walked over to the table, only to slip on some water someone had spilled. Jason gasped, falling to the floor. The coffee spilled off of the tray and landed on Darren's lap, causing Jason to yelp. Oh no...

Darren sat at a table and looked at the boy heading his way. The man smiled and looked back at the table, playing with sugar packets. As the boy got closer, the man smiled. He then felt hot coffee on his lap and he jumped up, and looked at the spot. He became a bit enraged and he looked at the boy, looking at his eyes. He remembered those eyes from ten years ago. The man sighed and calmed down. "Don't worry about it," he said and helped the other up. "Are you okay?" he asked and smiled.

Jason breathed softly, standing up when the other helped him. He nodded once and looked down at the other's pants, frowning softly. "I'm s-so sorry... I'm so stupid for that. Come with me... I'll g-get you cleaned up." But before he could move, a small woman with green eyes walked into the room, glaring at Jason. "What have you done? You clumsy little... You're nothing but trouble for us. You make us lose money. I'm sorry, Jason... But I'm afraid I'm going to have to fire you." Jason whimpered softly and looked down at his feet. "Y-Yes ma'am..."

Darren smiled at the boy and moved hair from his face. "No. Don't be sorry. It was an accident. Accidents happen," he said softly, and looked at the female. He listened to her words and he chuckled. The man had the ability to make any woman fall to her knees in lust. The man moved to the woman and took one of her hands. "It's alright, my lady. It was just an accident. It's obvious someone didn't wash the floors enough, and the boy slipped. And, if you're certain about firing him, he can have a job at my company as my assistant," he said and kissed the woman's hand and looked over at the boy. "Dump this place. It seems you don't make enough money. Would you like to work for me now that you're out of a job?" he asked and smiled.

The woman gave a soft little blush, frowning softly. Before she could say another word, Jason gave a soft smile and slid his apron off of his body. He handed it to the other woman and nodded, looking over to the male. "I'd like that... And the money isn't what I care about. Really. I just need something productive to do other than to sit at home all day crying over my long-dead brother... I'd be happy to work for you as your assistant..."

Darren smiled and ruffled up the boy's brown hair. "Alright then. Let's go," he said and when the boy mentioned his brother, Darren turned to face the boy. "Dead brother? That must suck," he said and frowned, leading the boy to the car outside and opened the door for him. When the boy was in the car, Darren went to the driver's side. "If you don't mind me asking.. How did he die?" he asked, forgetting he was the one who killed the boy's brother.

The male frowned, closing his eyes softly. He felt tears run down his pale cheeks and he sniffled. "He... He was killed. I was only seven... It was ten years ago. We were coming home from watching a movie and this boy walked up to him. He was covered in blood... H-he...He tried to protect me, but the murderer just stood there and cut my brother. He stabbed him... Right in the heart. He even a-ate bits of him, too. I'll find t-that ******** monster one day... I want him to go through what my brother went through. Better yet, I hope he loses someone he loves most, just so he c-can feel how I feel every ******** day of my life..."

Darren looked at the boy and frowned, pulling him into a hug and gave him a tissue. "I'm sorry to hear that. I hope you do find the b*****d who did that," he said and took a deep breath. "Now.. Let's go to work and I can show you what to do," he said and smiled, rubbing Jason's back. "Now, now.. It's not the time to be sad. It's a time to be happy. You have a new job now," he said and smiled, trying to comfort the boy.

Jason gave a soft whimper but nodded once. He smiled softly and wiped the tears away from his face. "Y-yeah.. Thank you." Jason sighed. "And I promise to help you clean you up when we get there... You're going to be all sticky and smell like coffee."
