Sasha got the text and immediately made her way to the kitchen. She wan't sure who Julie was, but the little ' smile ' at the bottom of the text made Sasha want to get to know her immediately. Sasha liked smiley faces, so maybe this was something she would have in common with her?
As she skidded to a halt just inside the entryway to the kitchen area, it took Sasha a few minutes to understand what she was looking at. It was dirty, blackened and burned. Sasha pursed her lips and skirted around Rep, giving him a very disapproving look as she moved in closer in order to get a better look at the carnage.
"What a mess," Sasha breathed, swiping a finger across the countertop.

Someone she agreed with! Sydney moved closer, feeling much like a little girl in kindergarten trying to make a friend. "I'm not quite sure how it got this bad," she said. "Do you know?" Wait, hadn't she seen this girl before? And wait... she had a ton of hair, too. Did it get her in trouble on missions? Sydney pondered asking.

Rep shook his head. "Nope. Not a ******** clue. I'm just guessing moon hunter. Based on the whole bob the builder gear and pickaxe. Maybe Julie, maybe not." He shrugged dismissively.
He did however give her another nonplussed look at her comment. "Not from round here? Whatever gave you that ******** idea? Was it the fact this is an island in the middle of nowhere or was it my ******** rakish good looks?" He knew fine well it was the accent if anything but he was in a bit of an irritable mood and Ofie was as good a target as anyone. "Back home mostly ******** takeaways. Donner Kebab, Chicken Tandoori, all that good stuff. I never cook, that's women's work."
Once he got out of his little rant he actually noticed Cass and cringed, great, she always showed up on the edge of one of his tirades. He could only hope she'd ignore it as he gave her a rather silly little smirk. He really really couldn't help but be swayed by the compliments. They were one of his most blatant weaknesses.
"Well yeah. Definitely. If there's heavy lifting that needs done, I'm sure I'd be more than happy to oblige." Though he had a feeling it was only a matter of time before the properly buff men arrived and made him look like an irritable midget all over again.
As Sasha passed him, she got a smug little wave for the look she gave him. He had no idea what he'd done to earn it but he had to keep up appearances as an insufferable b*****d.

"Ah seriously hope that one day the stick in yer a** falls out Rep, 'cause yer too nice of a guy to jus' walk aroun' bein' a douche wit' legs." Ofelia sighed and turned her attentions from Rep to Cass, grinning at her friend. The younger girl received a hug from the teen as a thanks for the pat on the shoulder, and Ofelia backed up and looked at her small duo of people that, yes, she considered friends. Ofelia considered everyone friends though so it was a mild side effect of nothing.
"Yer lookin' good too Cass, can ya see better now? Ah remember ya were havin' trouble wit' yer eyes an' Ah was a bit worried over it. Pretty lil' thing like ya needs yer eyes ta keep watch out fer creeps an' walkin' douches. Oh wait, Ah see ya already know Rep then as well. He's a real softie at heart though, jus' gotta find his heart first."
Dammit Ofelia stop picking a fight when trying to compliment people at the same time what was wrong with you.

"Excellent! Glad to know I'll be able to count on you." she grinned, lightly punching Rep in the shoulder. Had she heard his tirade? Possibly. But she had this way of selectively ignoring stuff. Had too little time to live to be able to pick a fight with everybody on the island for irking her. Or even to irk other people.
To Ofelia, Cass grinned all the more, completely made of smiles. "Yes! My vision clears up more and more as time goes by, so I haven't been having any problems with missions." she grinned. "Keep all the creepy crawlies and the ghosts away from me with my magnificent vision." she laughed. "Eh, I wouldn't call Rep a softie. He's a walking wall of manliness. Nothin' soft there at all." She probably would have described Marcus and Leon similarly, though, so her standards were definitely skewed a certain direction.

Rin checked her phone with a muted curse. She had a feeling based on rumors this wasn't going to be a pleasant venture... still, she heeded the call and went right away.
Arriving, her sinking feeling was confirmed. The kitchen was a dump. She glanced around at the others thoughtfully to see who was there. She seriously needed to get to know more people. She didn't even recognize Julie.

Rep once again gave Ofie a "how I loathe you" look as she flippantly insulted him. If it wasn't a mission he probably would have thrown something, anything at her just in an attempt to get her to stop cramping his style.
Tracey was reminded that no one ******** asked him for his input.
He approved much more of Cass's defence of his masculinity, giving her an approving nod. "Yeah exactly. There's nothing ******** soft here at all. " It was surprising how offensive he found people expounding his inner virtues, it made him want to break things. You spent all your ******** life trying to get people to leave you alone and all it took was one soft in the head woman to try and preach to people that you were really just a lovable softie. It made him want to scream.
Thank god for Cass, because if she wasn't there, he was almost certain he'd be trying to punch Ofie's eye out all over again. He turned his attention back to the sun and narrowed his blue eyes coldly. "And I'm not a ******** nice guy. The only person with ANYTHING in their a** around here will be /you/ with a ******** axe called Tracey up there if you keep winding me up."

You would think Reine might be tired of missions, by now. They always involved getting hurt in some way, and usually also a certain amount of embarrassment, in the why-are-you-so-bad sense. And in the oh god is my superior going to hit me in front of everyone again sense.
And also the---
okay, well, that was mostly it. At least, Reine had a fairly good idea of what to expect from this text, after all, it was Julie, and it involved the kitchen that was, as far as she knew, in ruins. She was not, however, prepared for what she actually saw- Julie with a pickaxe, and a bunch of other people that had already gathered.
Okaaaaaaaay then.

"That sounds kinda painful, Ah'd rather pass on that. Plus one day when yer a** if hangin' off a side'a cliff or sommin', yer gonna wanna have me be able ta bend over an' pull ya ta safety. With yer weapon up mine Ah dunno if either of us would benefit." Ofelia was blunt and the look on her face wasn't even...vicious. It was more matter-of-fact and she shrugged before her face turned into a wicked grin. It was mostly directly back at Cass, though it wasn't meant to be cruel - it was her default yay I'm happy for you look. It just happened to be sort of creepy.
She really, really needed to work on not have such creepy facial expressions when she was super happy, or at least needed to work on a default gentle smile. Always a work in progress was Ofelia. "Ah can agree witcha that he's strong, no doubt there. He knocked mah eye out, it was really kinda cool! We'll be all the more fortunate ta have 'em with us on missions cause he'll knock stuff down an' show no mercy."
Actually he was capable of mercy, as Ofelia found out when she woke up in that creepy hospital bed. Not going to mention it though, not while playing the dumb game.

There were worse things than a kitchen crisis. Like getting thrown into a pit of fire or a lake full of crocodiles. Or getting chased around by a super scary monster till he was half dead ... basically all the previous missions before.
However, the kitchen was a beautiful place. The natural habitat of all that was good (except the rats and cockroaches). Most importantly, sandwiches.
Dillon wasn't sure about the : ) that accompanied the message, maybe it wasn't so serious this time. Nothing life threatening at least. Good, he needed a break from all of that. The mist trainee may or may not have run to the kitchen to attend to what was clearly an emergency.
Except not really. Dillon stared long and hard at the woman with the pickaxe, chipping away at the floor. Er.... ok.

One one hand, she hadn't called on him by the name of John Windwalker. On the other she had called on him. Marcus liked to think of Julie as that crazy teacher that didn't mean to be crazy, they just king of..were. A no one had bothered to really do anything about because there was just nothing to do. She also included a smiley face. Glad to know things would at least remain the same when it came to her. Putting on his coat, stuffing his card in his boot, and mentally gearing himself for something possibly utterly insane, Marcus made his way over to the kitchen, and was a bit surprised when others seemed to be doing the same. She hadn't... invited everyone...had she? Suddenly this 'mission' seemed even worse than before. Julie in charge was scary enough. But in charge of all of them? Pretty terrifying. Looking at Cass, he gave a sad smile. It was going to be one of those days. He also cast a few glances at the new moon hunters. this might be the first time they got to meet Julie. He hoped they could handle it. He really did. Taking a deep breath he sighed. "Reporting for the Very Important Mission Julie." he assumed it would be fixing the kitchen. Or demolishing it. It was Julie. Kind of hard to tell.

Ahhh so this was the mysterious Julie she'd heard so much about. Once from Marcus- he'd mentioned she was the moon leader at the moment, during their introduction party. She'd never actually gotten around to meeting Julie. So this crazy colored huntress was in charge of her division?
< Don't judge a pumpkin by its orangeness! > Junpei chimed in, trying to sooth her bias.
It's don't judge a book by its cover.
< Huh? What's that from? >
Ami just stared at Wilson. "Of course she's trying to do something in the kitchen. Why the hell else would we be here?" She liked Wilson, really, but sometimes he could be such an imbecile! She means that as a compliment, really.
She saw Dillon walk in looking seriously confused, which probably mimicked her own expression when she came in. She gave Dillon a short wave, hoping no one saw it but him. Then Marcus walked in, and Ami immediately stopped waving. It felt sort of silly to wave when he was reporting so seriously. Were they supposed to be at attention right now?

Mission request. From Julie. In the Kitchen.
Harrison grabbed his coat and B0nez, and headed on over in a panic, half expecting to find Killer chopped up in the sink with a Mission of further mutilating the corpse.
It always came back, didn't it? Who was he kidding, they were all just surviving one encounter to go stick their neck in the next guillotine over. But Clarice had said-
He hadn't had time to take him Fighting, yet. If he'd had time, maybe he could have held his own. Had a chance, at least...
The color of the kitchen was, to Harrison's relief, black. Still wrecked, and Julie was armed with a pickaxe, but at least there wasn't any gore. She'd sent the text out to a lot of trainees too, so it probably wasn't a vendetta.
He relaxed.
"We renovating?" He asked. That wouldn't be so bad. The place sure as hell needed it.

Mission in the kitchen! Mission in the kitchen! 'Excited' wouldn't necessarily be the word that described how Hazel was feeling but she was oblivious to what she might find in the kitchen. It most likely isn't going to be cookies and tea, that's for sure. Or was it? There was a rumbley in her tumbley and that was all she could think of. When Hazel arrived, she felt her heart drop to her stomach. The kitchen was a mess. Where was the food? The snacks? The yum yums? Seeing as other trainees were gathering, Hazel took the chance to take a few steps toward a white-haired girl. "Food?", she pouted with her hazel doe-eyes.

"All muscle, right?" the intermediate mist mused with her hands on her hips, even as Rep insisted he wasn't a 'nice' guy. She begged to differ on that front, though.
"Eh, you're a pretty decent one, Rep. You just don't walk around singing princess songs, saving kittens from trees, and picking flowers....." she seemed to be imagining this for a moment. ".....I really hope I don't get a Princess Golem of you someday, because that would be terrifying, actually." There was a small shudder as she tried to get the image out of her head forever. "Yeah, not gonna lie, I don't think I could handle that."
"He knocked your eye out? Yikes! That was a strong hit!" Cass laughed, sounding about as impressed with it as Ofelia was as she shared it. "Did you hit him back just as hard? I bet Rep didn't even flinch when you did."
