Disinfectant was probably a good idea.
Robert knew Circe would never hate Caelius, because her possessiveness wouldn't allow it. So the only freedom waiting for Caelius now.. was death.
And he was virtually indestructible.
That was a shame.
"Well, look at Cael in this picture. And look at him now. What's changed? He's got Circe now, that's what - and I think she's ******** with him something awful. But, if that's the only way you can unbond.. I guess he's pretty ********, huh?"
Robert shook his head, and pitied the death division leader in a way that hardly anyone had ever thought of him in a very long time. "Sad."

In a way, Robert was making Marcus curious. Same line, he was kind of making no sense. "You saying his weapon is ******** with his mind? That-" He shook his head. "That's kind of ******** up. If it's messing with him- why would they even allow that sort of thing? Still, it's way out of our power range. Could try to break it but we've seen what it can stand up against. I'm just glad the guy doesn't kill us all the time." Marcus shrugged.
"I just figure to stay out of the guy's way and off his radar."

Robert pushed the picture away, and started flipping through some of the others. He let out a faint chuckle. "That's pretty much the best way to survive, with him. Just stay out of his way. But yeah, that s**t's kind of a mess."
Closing the file, he leaned back in his chair and chewed on his thumb. "I'm gonna get to work on looking for clues now. Go get me that list bro."
