Dante sighed. What is it that makes her so solitary?

Margaret finally zoned back in. She wiped the blood off her face with her sleeve and ran extremely fast to the nearest stream. It was a sunny day, but that didn't bother her. Modern vampires have adapted to this element. She stripped and walked ino the stream, bloody clothes in hand. The stream was soon filled with red as the blood washes from her uniform. She scrubbed it with her hand, then rubbed the material together to get some more out. After dunking it a few more times, she set the uniform on a rock and sat in the water for about an hour to let her clothes dry.

Dante watched the grounds below him. He sighed, I wonder where Margaret went.

Margaret finished soaking and climb out of the water. She dried herself off and climbed into her soft uniform. Her face expressionless, she walked back to the adoption home and walked in. As soon as the Nun and little girl saw her, the nun left the little girl there and marched to Margaret. "Come with me, dear." the nun insisted. Margaret pulled away, and in a fake shollow voice, asked, "Where are we going?" Margaret asked. "The blessing room." The nun replied. The one thing vampires hate more than garlic, is crosses. And the blessing room has them. TONS of them. 10 crosses on every wall of the room. And these things can drive a vampire CRAZY. Margaret growled. "No." the nun was shocked. "Of course we are!" the nun pulled Margaret into the room. As soon as she walked in, her health began to lower. Her head ached. Her body burned. She turned and bit the nun, who died instantly as Margaret drained her dry. Margaret screamed and busted out of the room, door broken and all. She ran to her room an locked the door, then drew the curtains on the window so nobody could see in. She screamed as her body burned and sizzled an she started to heal again slowly, but painfully.

Margaret sat up, the burning is almost over. She hissed at the pain. Soon it was over. She pulled the curtains back, and fixed her bed, then unlocked the door and walked out. The blood was gone. Her hair was perfectly combed, and she looked... Fine. A smile perched on her face as she leaned over to see the ruckus downstairs from the top foyer. People were screaming. Other nuns were holding children back. It was chaos downstairs. And here was Margaret, humming an ancient song from the 1700's her mother would sing to her.

Dante had gotten down from the roof and was now walking through the hallways. He saw Margaret and cocked his head. She seemed fine now, but he still didn't know why she had run off. He walked over to her, "I don't recognize that song." He stated simply.

Margaret laughed. It was a song my mother-..." she trailed off. "ex-mother would sing for me." Margaret said with a smile.

Margaret's face changed blank at the thought of her wicked family. Always singeling her out because she was different. They knew her secret. They occasionally got fed blood. But they always picks on her. One night, she couldn't take it. They pushed her to the edge by calling her names and hitting her. She grew viscous and attacked them. Killed her whole family. And the whole town suspected her as a killer after that. Margaret was going to be sentenced to be hung, even though the judge had no clue how the family died. Margaret panicked and fled the village. Very few history books keep record of her back in the 1700's. But a lot keep record of the mysterious similar deaths of people chained together from the 1700's to even the modern times. Blood being drained from all victims. And Margaret was to blame. Of course she didn't want Dante to find out, he seemed to be her only friend.

Dante got close to Margaret, staring directly into her eyes. "Something's bothering you." He said more than asked.

Margaret's eyes flashed a crimson red very quick, then returned to normal. "I know not of why thee is speaking of. It is nonsense." Nargaret said with a smile. She had already let her guard down and the old fashioned talk came out. So Margaret just smiled and acted like she meant to do that.

Dante cocked his head, "I don't understand. Why're you suddenly talking like we're in the middle ages? And what was with your eyes just a moment ago?"

"Oh, the middle age talk thing was just to throw you off." Margaret giggled. "and what are you talking about with 'the eye thing?" Margaret lied.
