Ice Road Runner
Sepheran managed to doge a large chuck of ice that was about to fall on him, only to slip on an ice shard falling and hitting his head knocking him unconscious. Luckily his lepus guide flagged a bogeymen down to take him to the infirmary before he totally became an popsicle.

The dragon's tail twitched, flicking side to side as he listened to Petro speak. How motivational the speech actually was may have been up for debate, but Sheridan at least knew he meant well.
For the most part he seemed unaffected by the wind and rain, or at least he didn't show any signs of irritation at the weather. In truth he would have preferred it not be raining (lightning could prove dangerous to a flying creature), but the wind did not seem to bother him, maybe he even enjoyed it. At least it was cooler and they weren't roasting in the sun on a beach.

Sheridan stared out over the course, eyes narrowed, his arms crossed as if debating, surveying the best way across. He stood firm, despite the wind, almost as if it did not affect him, or maybe it was the position of his wings that anchored him to the ground.
He stood only a moment longer, removing his pin to shift into natural form, then taking to the course with a leap and a beat of his wings.

Long Grass FieldDespite his wings, Sheridan did not dare fly above the grass lest he be carried off course by a sudden gust or struck by lightning. Instead he glided just above the ground, his long body weaving through the stalks as they billowed in the wind. His ears twitched, howling, he did not like the sound of that, best to keep moving. Jack! He had chosen exactly the wrong place to set down and try to catch his bearings, right in the middle of a bog. Long Grass FieldSeveral snarls and an angry blast of plasma ice later, Sheridan had at last broken free of the mud, now weaving his way through the grass, his pace faster as he moved through the course. It was some time before he realized something else was moving in the grass, and only after he felt the sting or bite or something that he took notice. A growl, the dragon's tail lashed with a snap, he turned with every intention of freezing whatever had struck him. But it was at that moment that he spotted the hint of color, diving instead for the the flag, the slithering creature forgotten. Long Grass FieldWhat the jack?! He did not like the sound of that, did not like it at all! Nor did he like the feel or whatever had wrapped around his ankle. Reeling around, the glare he had intended to focus on whatever had caught him turned to sudden horror, OH JACK! A quick roll proved to be not quick enough, and caught off guard he took what felt like the force force of the serpent's strike, fangs seeming to sink even through his thick scales. Long Grass FieldOut of the grass, out now! He could no longer afford to be careful, he couldn't worry about the wind or the rain, he had to get out of this field and away from that snake NOW! His wings unfurled and he leapt forward, racing toward the edge of the grass, toward the growing patch of sky. Go, go, hurry! The grass was fading, he was almost there, almost free, leaving the sounds of hissing behind him. Wait, was that a flag? He didn't dare slow down, diving to catch the flag even as he sailed toward the edge of the course, refusing to stop or slow down until he was certain every last inch of his body and tail were free of the tall grass and he stood on solid ground again. THE CAVE OF DARKNESS
Well the trials seem to have gone for a rocky start for his team. In fact it was just yesterday he was forced to go through that horrid cold cave and got himself knocked out and headed to the infirmary. Luckily they healed him up in no time...though now he was off on another wild adventure...this time he just hoped he'd survive.
"Did you know...the darkness hides lots of harmful things?"
Sepheran rolled his eyes preceding to ignore his guide for now, he couldn't bring himself to get mad at it though, after all it did call the bogeymen to his rescue if things got too out of hand.
"Yeah well luckily for me I don't rely on sight so much, this cave s far better then the icy one anyway," he added as he moved forward carefully using his other senses to find his way around. And it wasn't long before he managed to snag himself a flag too.
