More. He got a very sudden desire for more from Tracey. Apparently his little angel was getting a taste for the fear of others, it was almost cute.
He figured he'd indulge him. It wasn't much but it was enough to get Tracey that taste he was after.

"So, lemme get this straight," said Gale, lifting a hand to his face and tapping a gloved finger against his cheek. "You can say whatever you bloody well want, to whoever you bloody well wish to, and you can get away with it because you're some sort of terrifyingly impressive guy who tattoos himself to look more badass - but I can't say whatever I want to whoever I want without getting into a fight over it?"
He shrugged again, as though the matter hardly concerned him. "Your logic is so skewed. It's actually quite amusing."

He finally gave into the pleas of the axe, letting his thoughts all but melt into Tracey's as he charged towards Gale, gathering up every single little bit of energy he had left and focusing it all into this attack. He had to win this, he really couldn't afford to lose to a little English chap who had insulted his junk. Nope.
"We'll see who is overcompensating." he snarled as he spun around in a surprisingly nimble spin, bringing the full momentum of the axe, and unpleasantly the /hook/ on the axe, into play.

He was still laughing, even as Rep was running towards him for the last strike, Gale shaking his head.
"Ego? If you think I have an ego, then there's nothing much more I can say to you. Go ahead, beat me up, brag around to everyone that you, the lowly trainee, you beat an Intermediate trainee - but have fun telling people that you beat someone shorter and smaller than you."
Rep's attack swept into his stomach and Gale felt the wind completely knocked out of him. He coughed and spat blood onto the ground, a slightly maniacal smirk twisting his lips upwards.
"You're not nearly as impressive as you think you are."
Then he promptly staggered sideways and lost conscious completely.

Rep smirked delightedly as Gale went down, the other hunter's words of derision going mostly unheard as Rep fixated instead on the fact he'd won a fight. He'd actually WON A FIGHT. And it wasn't against a girl. It was against an intermediate!
He wouldn't let Tracey rain on his parade as he danced on the spot just because he could before having a good long laugh. Okay okay, he was done.
He utterly strutted off the training fields. He'd never heard of being a humble winner. Or taking non-suns to the infirmary.
