Yeah, I agree that its harder to downgrade on a handheld than on a console. Though, I usually have some trouble when I go bak to play OoT or Majora's Mask on my N64.

the only problem about playing earlier consols for me is I lost my gaming calous, so I blister pretty easily... but I still love that GCN controller padded joystick...

That reminds me of a fun anecdote...
I had an N64 controller that stopped working, see? and I decided to take it apart. I kept the joystick in tact and am able to hold it by itself and pretend I'm doing crap with it. Fun stuff...

the only thing I took apart was my GBC cause sand got in it blaugh sucked big time and the speakers still dont work... oh well, my DS keeps me happy now

Frist Nintendo game for me was Super Mario bros. II on the Game boy, the pac men. I played one of the many SNS Mario as well. I can't remember because it was my older cousin system and my mom would get one for me. The first system I got was the N64 in which I had Super Mario 64, Super Smash Bros,Glitchy No Mercy, and some other game.

the only games for the N64 I still play are LoZ OoT and MM, SSB... thats it really, the N64 years werent kind to me, I still play my NES more often

the first game I played was super mario bros. but it was my baby sitter's game. then I got really jealous when my sister would beat it over and over, and I couldn't even get past the third level. crying
