"Someone could get lost in this place..." Ranulf remarked as he went to pick up the large palm leaf and started to fan the princ as best as he could. "What of my grandmother, my prince?" He asked, concerned for her. He did cover her work as well to stop her punishment and make it easier for the aging woman. "And will I also have to make my own food?" He added.

Adjo sighed as he relaxed. Another servant appeared and served him water and a bowl of figs. "Your grandmother?" He had no idea the boy had family, not that he cared. When he spoted Ranulf, Adjo was just thinking about using him as a new toy. "what about her? and as for food the servants get to eat everyday at about 6. just go to the kitchen for you plate."

"That sounds fair" He replied. He was a little surprised by the prince's calm nature towards these questions. "And my grandmother is a old woman and still aging. She wasn't as good as she used to be and when she was about to be punished, I madea deal wih the enforcers to take over her work as well. To make things easier on her. I'm sure you understand, right prince?" He said, looking at the now eating prince, curious thoughts of how he would respond crawling around in his head. "Could you at least let her know?"

"So you do twice the work to save her?" Adjo took another few bites of fruit before answering. "Tell you what I can do. I can have her removed from the hard labor and given an easier job in one of the mills making flour or wine but..." He took a sip of water and ate more fruit. "You have to give me your body everynight." It was like selling you soul to the devil and Adjo was like the sex crazyed son of the devil.

"M-my body?" Ranulf couldn't stop the flush of crimsn that washed over hs face. He would basically be selling his body to the Prince, to toy with however he pleases. The idea flustered him, but if it would grant his grandmother an easier life, he had to do it. She ment the world to him. He reached behind his head to grab one of the hanging strand of his red ribbon, looking at it. "If that's what it takes...then I accept that..." He replied, only briefly stopping his fanning.

Adjo smiled having gotten what he wanted. "I will have everything set in place then tomorrow. Your grandmother will be sitting nice and happy." He closed his eyes again as he munched on the figs. His mind was full of thoughts of what he would do to Ranulf. So many things made him want to laugh with delight. 'he loves a old woman so much that he would whore himself out to me to save her from a whip. This one could be a keeper....and if not I will find another one.' Adjo got up. "I'm bored. Come in need someone to be hand me arrows."

"Thank you Prince" The personal servant said quietly. As he saw Adjo stand he put the large palm leaf down and went to stand by his side. "Arrows? Are you about to train, Prince?" He asked curiously. Maybe he could learn some of the prince's combat techniques.

"Something like that." He went up to the roof where serveral weapon lay. A spear, swords, axes and bow and arrows. Adjo motioned where Ranulf was to stand and picked up the bow. "now I need targets." He whistled, a loud high one. Servants seemed to appear from no where. Adjo picked out three of them, had them stand against a wall and put an apple on thier heads. "No on move. I might miss, Ranulf you know what to do." He picked up the first arrow and took aim.

"Yes Prince" Ranulf then grabbed the rest of the arrows and stood beside the Prince, ready to hand them out to him once he had used one. He couldn't help but notice that the servants weren't shaking all. They were still. 'Aren't they scared?' He thought, as he would be scared beyond his wits if he were up there. One wrong move and they work be struck instead of the apple, serious injury or worse. Little did he know that he was also thinking out loud, albeit in a low voice.

Adjo was a good shot. The apples appeared off the boy's heads and onto the wall behind them. "Get another one" They put another apple on thier heads and once again Adjo shoot it off. "maybe I can get that red ribbon out your head. Think i can do that?" He paused to grease his bow line. "Or would I just end up taking your ear off?"

"I-i'm sure you w-wouldn't miiss Prince" Ranulf said with a nervous smile. He was secretly hoping he wouldn't have to stand up there with the oher servants. "Surely you don't have to waste your time and talent on such a small target. After all, its unlikely that you'll face an enemy that size, right?" The personal servant said in the most reassuring and confident voice he could manage.

"Sometimes I go out hunting and shot something alot bigger than an apple. A human would be nice but so far I have found nothing to conquer in my name. But maybe I will soon." He let lose another arrow and another apple disappeared. "Being able to shoot such a small target means I will never miss when faced when something bigger."
