Honestly, Haven was actually a bit tempted to start making fun of him, because it was Peter and she was obligated to make fun of him by virtue of the fact that he was her biggest rival in class, but she quickly realized that spreading this information around probably wouldn’t be a good idea—firstly because people might start making fun of her too (as if they didn’t do that enough already), and secondly because some people might actually believe it and start hunting for their own information.
Not only did she not want other people getting hurt in the process, but she’d really sort of like to be the one to figure it all out on her own.
And also, making fun of Peter here on their own without any witnesses wouldn’t be as satisfying, so Haven lifted her shoulders in a shrug and decided to let him get away with it this time.
“I’m not going to tell people,” she said. “Then they’ll know I’ve been looking up monsters. That stuff’s for babies.”
She paused to glare at Peter, as if to silently warn him that he had better not go spreading this around either, or else she’d end up doing something really terrible to him, like shredding his homework before he could turn it in or tripping him in the hallway or “accidentally” kicking him when he passed by the swings on the playground, or something horrid like that.
“Anyway, I have real stuff to be working on,” she said, looking back to her school books, “none of this make believe stuff. You should watch out who you share your imagination with, Peter. Not everyone would be as nice about it as I am.”

Peter rolled his eyes when Haven gave her warning. Obviously he wasn't going to be sharing this stuff with just anyone. It was bad enough that he was made fun of for various reasons, but at least he could say "I told you so" once Haven realized he was right about everything. Just wait until she met a senshi... he hoped it wouldn't be anyone other than that, though...
Hell, he would power up in front of her if it meant he could prove her wrong, but when his mom was shuffling about in the kitchen, he didn't want to take that risk.
Just you wait, Haven...
Peter grinned to himself as he glanced back towards the television, reveling in the fact that he knew more than her on the subject of senshi and youma. No it wasn't much, but he definitely thought it gave him an advantage over proving that he was clearly better than her.
Not... that something like that really mattered, but in the mind of an almost-twelve-year-old, it was kind of awesome. Or something like that.
