No, of course she hadn't gotten him toys. Why would she buy the dog something nice if all he did was cause mayhem? "I don't see the point in spending money on a homework assignment if I don't need to." What a penny pincher. "The outfit itself was originally for the cats, but since none of them particularly liked it, I used it for the dog." Though that probably didn't make things any better.
Did Riyo realize Mitsu was upset? Surprisingly, no. The feline was pretty upset herself. Something about running into that wolf boil in class put a chip on her shoulder. She had never been particularly racist, nor did dogs really bother her, but the idea that he had hunted cats, and still had urges to chase cats... Now that pissed her off. Not that it excused her bitchy behavior.
"Chance?" Riyo folded her arms and leaned against the wall. "I invited him into my room. That was his chance." Well, she didn't really invite him. It was more like he was an obligation. "Anyways, when this assignment is over, he'll be out faster than you can say 'boot'."
Baka's little eye lit up as the tall one held out a rope to him. Was he allowed to chew that? Could he grab that? Oh, what the hell. The cycorgi latched on without a second's thought, trying to tug it away from Shun's grasp... Until his head suddenly felt naked.
The puppy let out a yelp when he saw his sibling had taken his hat for chewing purposes. No! He didn't want the boot again, and this would surely get him the boot!
STOP! he cried in puppy language before looking up to Riyo nervously.
"Better get it back." Was all she said... And he knew what he had to do.
CHASE TOBI ALL OVER CREATION FOR IT.

At that sound of his sibling barking Tobi looked back only shortly, his face looking very much like this. OwO Oh they were going to play chase! Tobi loved this game! As soon as Baka came barreling toward him Tobi took off like a bat out of hell little nubby tail wiggling up a storm. " Ah, b...but Riyo. He's just a baby. He doesn't know any better." The lycan tried to protest, her ears starting their downward droop. " D..don't just get rid of him." Would it be okay to offer to take him? Riyo didn't seem pleased with having him. Mitsu would be fine with taking care of him for her and she could still get credit on her homework. " W..why don't you just leave him here? I..I can take care of him and keep him aft- Tobi!" At the sound of his name Tobi's eyes grew in size. He redoubled his efforts in running but his little legs were no match for Mitsu. That and his paws were losing traction against the floor. Mostly he was just running in place. Before he knew it the ground was getting further and further away, his legs still trying their best to run despite the fact he wasn't going anywhere. Soon the full view of the lycan's face came into perspective and Tobi couldn't help but still wear the same expression. OwO Do you love me? Can you say no to this face? Apparently Mitsu could because she quickly took the hat from his mouth and set him back on the floor. " No Tobi, this isn't for chewing." Mitsu corrected firmly. The little corgi let out a short whimper in reply but his sad state only lasted for a second until he spotted Taka again. Oh it was on! Short attention span was short.

Someone certainly had a thing against dogs. Shun could see that much. Rather than chip into the conversation, he just held onto the tug rope firmly, making Baka work to get his toy. Though, it didn't last for long as he went chasing off after Tobi to get his hat back.
That one was quite a rambunctious one it seemed.
Taka was content to chew on the ball, but his ears soon perked up as he realized Tobi was eyeing him. Grabbing onto the ball, he quickly bolted on away. No. This was his! And so, he ran off, trying to keep the ball away from his brother, rushing behind Mitsu's legs to try and hide there in the meantime.

Just a baby?
Where had she heard that before?
Somewhere... She remembered hearing it a long time ago. Hm. The feline seemed to zone out as she tried to put a finger on it but in the end she gave up when she noticed Mitsu had 'reprimanded' her own assignment. "I don't want to burden you with my assignment, Mitsu. You look like you have your hands full as is."
Meanwhile, Baka had snatched up his hat and held his head high with a snort. What Tobi did would no doubt get him in trouble when they returned to the cat-infested room. Ears folded back, he approached his master with the costume item and laid it on the floor.
Grumbling, the ghoul grabbed the hat and returned it to the dog's head. "Don't lose it again."

"It's really no trouble, besides I like puppies. Cat's are what I have trouble with. I have yet to get Ziggy under control." Though perhaps she was taking the wrong approach. Was she doing the same thing Riyo was and treating Ziggy like a dog? It wasn't like she wanted the acrobat to do tricks.....though by nature she did tricks on her own. How confusing.
She frowned when Riyo scolded Baka, fidgeting with the hem of her dress a bit. Mitsu didn't want to tell Riyo how to train her puppy but..."Perhaps it would be best to leave it off for now?" Mitsu tried to suggest. "He really doesn't need it here, besides they are supposed to be playing. Releasing some energy." Maybe that idea would appeal to Riyo. If Baka exhausted himself in play he would be nice and quiet when he got back to her room.

Again, Shun had no further input.
He just watched the three dogs quietly, mostly to keep an eye on them and to make sure Taka didn't get himself into trouble. The pup was still evading his brother, and eventually, he tried to jump up onto the bed to see if the higher ground would help.
Only, he sort of missed.
Though he tried to scramble on up, he ended up flopping right back to the ground, where the ball bounced right out of his mouth. The fall didn't hurt him though, and he quickly got back to his feet to chase after the object, hoping to snatch it before his siblings did.

Ziggy? Riyo had no idea Mitsu had a cat. How did she handle living with a cat after being so afraid of Felix the few times the lycan had seen him?
Though it was really none of her business, she supposed. The curiosity wasn't eating at her... Until she noticed there was no cat in sight. "Mitsu... Where is your cat, exactly?"
Then Mitsu interjected with yet another suggestion. It was obvious the feline was getting irritated, but for once she wouldn't voice it. Her hands simply removed the hat just as easily as she put it on. "Fine."
Baka wagged his nonexistent tail as the hat came back off, waiting 'till his master was done before running back to tug at the rope in Shun's hands. He grrr'd and growled something fierce trying to yank the fun fabric thing out of the boil's hands.

"I put her in the closet," Mitsu gestured toward the mini's closet off to the side. "She's...umm..." Mitsu tried to find the best way to describe Ziggy's attitude with new people. "...difficult? With new people." That was one way to put it. "And I don't know that she likes Shun very well." Unless the claws to the face were out of love. She had done something similar to Mot except it was to his leg...and to Levi....no one was safe.
At least Riyo was taking the hat off. The pup looked so much happier as if ran across the floor to go tug at the rope in Shun's hand. It made Mitsu's tail wag a little feeling like she was helping.
Tobi had lost interest half way across the floor to his brother having seen something and decided it was much more interesting. The cycorgi had no idea what it was but his nose was pressed against the stick like object giving it a good sniff. Smelled of wood and lead. Hmm...
Backing up a step Tobi gave it an experimental bark to see if he could intimidate it. The pencil did nothing. Clearly he had won. His foe defeated Tobi looked up then to see the ball bouncing away from Taka. OwO It was like someone had lit a fire under the baby cycorgi's rear. He zoomed across the floor as fast as his paws would allow, snapping at the ball to grab it before his brother did and run off with it.

"That's an understatement," Shun said flatly as Mitsu described Ziggy. Normally he had little to no problem dealing with minis, especially domesticated ones. That particular cat though, was one that would not relent on him.
Feeling a tug, the Reaper looked down to see Baka return. His grip on the tug rope tightened, again looking to make the pup work to get his prize here.
Taka ran for the ball, but he was too late. Tobi had already snagged it. Letting out a bark, he stumbled across floor while trying to turn around to go after his brother. Once he was able to get back to his feet, he bounded after him, before pouncing to try and tackle his sibling down.

Suddenly, a headcrab zoomed past, leaping right over one of the cycorgis before continuing on its way, moving so quickly that nobody could catch it.
What.((Y halo thar! Your [!] is coming true; a certain somebody will be along shortly - feel free to react to the sudden appearance and vanishing of the headcrab!))

"Would any of your guys like something....to...." Mitsu's eyes grew wide at the sudden appearance of the headcrab scuttling across her floor at high speeds. "W..what is?" Was...her room infested? OnO
Tobi on the other hand was intrigued by the new creature and went trotting after it only to be pounced by his sibling. The ball in his mouth quickly bounced away and thus a tussle began to see who could break free first to go zoom after it.

Riyo silently listened to Mitsu's explanation of her feline 'friend', the demon's face scrunching up. "She probably just needs a different kind of attention. Cat's are-" The feline cut herself off due to the skittering of an odd creature across the floor.
"... Mitsu. Do you have crabs?" She didn't mean it the way it sounded.
Baka had been quite determined to get the rope from Shun's hands, until he too watched the headcrab dart across the floor. What was... WHAT WAS THAT? It wasn't a cat, so did that mean he could chase it?

All of the sudden, a headcrab came skittering on through rather quickly. He had seen something like that before, when he and a few others were working on breaking into the school. Furrowing his brow, Shun stared at the creature as it ran on its way.
He also couldn't help but stare at Riyo for that question. He knew what she meant but it still sounded pretty bad.
Takahiro's ears perked up as the headcrab appeared. Sniffing the air, he paused for a moment before wrestling with his brother to try and get back up to his feet. Managing to break away, he began to run after it. Chase. Chase!

"D...Do I have crabs?" That sounded....terrible. Absolutely terrible. Mitsu's face paled considerably even though she knew that Riyo was referring to the crab that had just wandered by. "I..I don't normally have them in my room." The lycan got up to investigate hoping to see where the headcrab had gone. If there was a hole of some sort maybe she could block it off.
"And I'm not sure if Ziggy needs a different kind of attention. She's not like a lot of other cats I've seen." Mitsu wasn't entirely sure how Riyo was going to wrap up her explanation on cats but Ziggy was...different.
Tobi had been left on his back as Takahiro bolted off and for a moment he was like a turtle struggling to wiggle over onto his side. When he finally managed to roll over the cycorgi bolted as well immediately running into his sibling Baka. Okay, he had no idea where he was going he had just gotten up and started to run. Oh well, he would play this off like he meant it to happen and pounced his sibling with a squeaky growl.

"... Huh." Riyo hadn't heard of headcrab infestations, but she'd never lived anywhere but the ritz either. Was it a common thing for cheaper living spaces to find themselves full of head humpers? Sweet Jack she hoped not.
Back on topic then. "How many cats HAVE you seen?" Riyo didn't like to toot her own horn...
Okay, that was a lie. She totally did. "When I say different attention, sometimes that means no attention at all. Independent cats seldom warm up to more than one person. Anyone else is bad company. You just have to give them space. They can be fickle." Kettle calling the pot black. Shame she wasn't as enthusiastic about the opposing species.
Baka had no idea what was happening when Tobi ran into him. He was too busy watching the strange creature disappear. So immediately when his sibling ran into him, the pup let out a loud yelp and snapped his baby teeth at his brother in warning so as not to look like a complete coward. Was his master paying attention? No, she was busy talking to the bigger dog. That meant he could have some fun.
