Devvin finished eating and set his plate in the sink. "Put the leftovers up and wash the dishes. Once your finished come up to the bedroom. And don't keep me waiting long." He smirked and walked upstairs to his bed room.

Annabelled nodded to him. As soon as she heard his foot steps on the stairs, she got up and washed the dishes until they sparkled. She set them back into their cupboards and put the pot back on the shelf. She stored the leftovers in the fridge and shut it. She ascended the stairs and opened the door to Devvin's bedroom, stepping in and shutting it behind her.

"Your fast girl." Devvin said laying on his bed. "Come here. Lay beside me." He smirked and awaited her.

Annabelle gave him a confused look as she cautiously walked over the the empty side of the bed. She laid down on her back, stared at the ceiling for a moment, then turned onto her side and faced Devvin.

Devvin pulled her up against him and kissed her forehead. "That's much better. Stay calm little one. I'm not going to hurt you. Not tonight."

She blushed and skewed her eyes shut when he kissed her. She was afraid of what he was going to do to her.

Devvin ran his fingers through her hair and smiled a little. "You will sleep right here tonight. Right beside me." He held her close and pulled the cover up over them before falling asleep.

Kairi had a confused look on her face as he fell asleep. She felt her eyelids droop and she scummed to sleep's calling.

Devvin awoke the next morning and shook Kairi. "Wake up and go fix breakfast."

Kairi awoke with a start. She rubbed her eyes as she sat up. "Yes Master." you could hear her yawn as she walked down the stairs.

Annabelle quickly put together some chocolate chip pancakes and some fried potatoes. She put syrup and butter in the middle of the table and put two pancakes on Devvin's plate. She put one on hers and placed the three extra pancakes in the middle of the table. She filled her mug with coffee and called up to Devvin. "Breakfast is ready master!" she said.

Devvin walked into the kitchen and set down. "Not bad." He started eating and closed his eyes.

Annabelle took a sip of her coffee and took a small bite of her pancake. She was still worried about what he said last night, "I'm not going to hurt you. Not tonight." she shivered.
