Personality a very hard worker but loves to tease women. If he finds one attractive he will follow her around like a puppy. He appreciates a person who knows how to fight and defend themselves. He is also an amazing cook. Very light hearted and honest. He is not the best drunk though (but who is? XP) he is also very good with kids. Probably because the fact he is like one himself.
Abilities he is a monk so he has the ability of purification.
Background story when he was born his father was never I the picture so his mother raised him alone and she passed down her martial arts expertise. She fell ill and died when he was around 18 years old, and whit no siblings and a lot of dangerous demons running around he started to follow the life of a monk. She is probably the reason he is so fond of strong women. Even though he was born in Kazue he trained to be a monk in Akemi and recently is now taking up residency in Itsuki, due to the fact of reported high rates of demon activity building up around the area. He figured that he could lend a helping hand around there and check out the activity for himself to see if it is anything threatening. Even though he had recently taken up residency there he has yet to find an actual housing unit. He was turned away by the temple because they were already full. So he currently has been sleeping on the streets but has been making the best of it. Even though he is a monk; he holds no true prejudice for demons because he has encountered his share of both mean spirited as well as gentile spirited demons and he sees them as no different from humans aside from supernatural powers. In fact his clothes were a gift from a fire demon he met in the past who gave the robes to him as a way to protect himself from fire demons who were not as friendly. He plays the flute to earn money for his next meal or sometimes just for fun.

Personality Ven is usually quiet, though, he does tend to open up to those he talks to for an extended period of time.
Abilities Years and years of training has made it so if he grabs something, it is extremely hard for his hand to be forced open, especially when holding a weapon.

Background story Ven was once a criminal, doing many odd jobs to make money. However, a deal gone bad had almost cost him his life, as a demon interrupted the deal, killing everyone, and seriously wounding him. As he awaited death, a man in black armor came upon him, and saved his life. Ashamed by being defeated so easily, Ven asked the man to train him. That was 11 years ago.
Today, Ven has taken residence in the village of Itsuki, helping to defend the people from the rising demon population, to try to atone for his past mistakes. He doesn't talk to the villagers much, but helps them whenever they ask, or when a demon appears, even if it endangers his life.

Background story Seiko was born in a small village that was only a few leagues from Konoha. She was the youngest of three children, her two older siblings, her brothers, Kenta and Kohaku loved her very much and doted upon her. Her family were simple farm folk and lived off of the land. Seiko was a very happy and carefree child and helped out with everything that she could, until one day everything changed. On a cold dark night, her home village was attacked by bandits and she was sold to a brothel in Yuina's notoriously seedy downtown district where she was forced to give up all hope of ever having the life she had before.

Kain's appearance are just like any ordinary man living on a simple village. His auburn, medium-short hairs covered his left eye; the length of his hairs stopped above his shoulders. Hawk-like reddish eyes that would pierce a person's heart if he were to stare at you intensely. The skins on his body were rather darker than most fair-skin folks as he was accustom to field works under the scorching sun. His usual outfit; an armor pieces on his arms, which serve as 'shield' capable of fending against most of attacks. A dark gray tunic covered most of his torso, concealing the thin, flexible metallic plates. It was well complementary with his long, black jean and shoes. His cloak with a family symbol, a favorite cloth that was given to him as a gift by his late father's will when he was a child.
Personality Isolated from the rest of the society, he grew distant, even distrustful toward people of all races. The only thing he care for is himself and no one else for all that matter. In spite of his tough exterior, there's a heart lie behind his broad chest, so human and child that he forgot how it is like to form a bond. People of all race find it difficult to get along with him due to his stoic attitude. As all of the human race, his attitude and personality will change in time.

Background story Born in the village of Koga, the origin of his parents was unknown at that time of his birth. Apparently, his parents were emigrated from Japan and reside in the village of Koga. At his fifth birthday, a powerful, fearsome tri-horned demon managed to break into the village, ravaging everything in its sight. His family were one of many victims from the horrible attack. Kain was the sole survivor of the demonic attack. Handful of warrior from this village eventually drove the demon away, leave Kain without a home. No one were willing to take him because of his foreign background, his presence were even less welcoming by the natural villagers. In all of his life, he was forced to wander outside of the walls, fending for himself from enemies.
As the years passed, he developed different skills necessary to survive in the wilderness. Whatever a passerby come by, he would take his opportunity to observe his/her action and mimic their techniques. Kain learned how to craft his own weapons and armors by using woods and stones(eventually he learned how to forge a weapons and armors through smith), gaining mastery over different form of weapons, cooking foods, understand the nature of plants and animals. Above of all, he practiced using his fists by applying the principal of samurai skills into his bare hands every single day. Everyday, he would gather the resources from the wilderness and either facing the enemies head-on or avoiding them if the situation turned grim in order to survive for the next day.
Once he reach adolescent, he discovered that it was easier for him to fend off enemies on his own with his fearsome skills due to his growing strength in every part of his muscles over the years of surviving the wilderness. At that point, all of the emotions necessity for human faded away, leave him emotionless and empty. Every now and then, he still feel the fear within his heart from the brutal assault upon his village. It was about that time when he finally encountered the very demon who took the lives of his parents and made him suffer all of the years. The battle between them would be etched into his memories for the reminder of his human life.
Kain finally bloomed into a fine young adult. He was feared by enemies and revered by his village as a powerful fighter. Yet, he feel a little attachment with his village and would rather go out in an adventure, it would give him something to do instead of hanging around with the village. Not a single villager display a tender affectionate toward him nor form a friendship with him.

Background story She lived in a household with her mundane family, Ashura was second in line to be the heir to the family business, a hostess like tradition. Ashura didn't really give a damn about pleasing men, also regarding the location of the village. It was prone to demon attacks, due to the isolation, demons thought it would be easy prey since there weren't any other villages not until for miles. Those demons were right, that being said that did evidently change. When Ashura decided to step away from her family's mundane traditions -- trying to get married off.
That day forward at the age of 15 she started to train herself immensely, judo, tai kwon do and harmonizing with her chakra, controlling it and practicing on the vital points that are most effective. It took Ashura a good 5 years to master these skills and hone them, a man, noticed her skills and asked her to brawl with him. He said if she could beat him he'd give her a grand prize, she smirked at the idea of beating up this man she's never seen before. And so she accepted, the man was very skilled and dodged most of her punches, however it didn't take her long to win when she resorted to her last resort, attacking him by his vital points. Unluckily for him she was very skilled in this ability, precise and agile. And then she won, he was paralyzed. And that is the story of how Ashura received the ancient long blade. It takes time to unsheath but she is used to fighting with it.

Personality He usually is calm and respect full but can quickly turn sadistic and uncaring for that around him or his well being but can also very reserved with a habit of picking up flowers when in a good mood

Background story Lyern Asthul always quested for more power,he without no parent wandered as much as he could and after many years of hiding within the humans he started experimenting trying to find new ways to absorb their abilities but the humans could only give so much so Lyern went on to travel around the world, there he fought countless of times and experimented on those who fell and also learned from those who bested him countless battle experience with their fights and so on he continued his existence fighting to exert himself. After many trials and places visited, he finally found the power he was looking for but he soon found it was a double edged sword. The power would try to consume him and though giving him great power his fighting was less graceful and though all well being ended.When he reached his final state he could only maintain it a short time if not it would cost him his life and if attacked fatally in that form would render him reverting back to his normal form sometimes healed, but his powers would be sealed for a short time. Soon his lust for power lessened but his temper grow shorter. One his way to the East he was outmatched by another demon by its speed. Lyern was stronger but the speed demon was to fast for him and so he could only follow his moments but no counterattack them correctly although he ended retreating, Lyern knew he wasn't fast enough and he also knew he wouldn't be since he never decided to develop that aspect of him and neither the hand to hand combat without dark matter. He continue the path laid before him and discovered his weak defense against fire after fighting with a dragon and having suffered multiple wounds

Origin Currently living in Kohona. Ran across the sea from a Northern Island, abandoning his own herd.
Family(Who are you related to) Last remaining carnivorous horse demons of the Northern Islands.
Appearance (Please give a detailed description and or picture.) In his human form he has black horse-like ears that he usually hides beneath his long shaggy hair.
In his demon form he has thick fur around his hooves, and human-looking light eyes. Slightly larger than the Umadoshi Yokai on this island, he is one solid colour of black instead of the varied colours and dual-colours they posses; he also does not have wings like they do, which makes him stand out from the regular herd.
Personality Cautious, but generally courteous, though he is not overly fond of other demons that are predatory in nature (even though he is technically in that category). He is self-interested as opposed to generally caring for others, in other words, if in a life-or-death situation with a chance to save someone else and sacrifice himself, he would let that person die while he got away with his own life. 'Fari is, however, quite generous with what little he has, and will share a meal of something he's hunted with others, regardless of human or demon in nature (though he may occasionally find it funny to serve human to a human).
Abilities Can walk/run on water, run at fast speeds, can pull clouds together to create storms, but has a much harder time controlling pure liquid water and solid water (ice). Cannot control lightning or thunder, but can cause them via weather effects. He can pull water from the air (vaporous), and if the air is humid, he can condense water within other creature's lungs to effectively drown them.
Weapons (optional) Hunting knife, stone-tipped spear, netting, bow and a set of stone-tipped arrows fletched with feathers from birds he's caught/killed.
Background story Born in a carnivorous horse tribe in the Northern Islands, the horse demons were once revered as gods, but when dragons came to the island, the horse demons found that they had a new predator, and their numbers began to fall. Fearing for his own well-being, Svaðilfari ran across the sea, seeking another island where his kind may be better protected, or at least somewhere where he could better protect himself. He established himself over the course of a few years with the nearby horse demon herd, but does not often run with them any longer. 'Fari prefers a more solitary life within the mountain and surrounding forests.
Personality Cocky, risk taker, rule breaker, kind of a rebel, and a bad a**. Smooth talker. Cute things fluster him.
Abilities Sound.
- Vibration Emission: The user can generate powerful shock-waves that can cause objects/people to be pushed over, repulsed back, shatter fragile objects, and even deliver a clout to induce asphyxia.
- Sharpness Manipulation: User can control sharpness in any object they touch, either imbuing or taking the quality of sharpness away: sharp edges cut better, while non-edged surfaces, objects, like hands, can be imbued to cut through nearly anything. They can imbue an item as a trap, such as making a doorknob cut anyone who tries to open it, or remove sharpness from things. When dulling an item, he can only dull something back to it's original form after he sharpened it.

Name Azalea
Race Shapeshifter(Demon)
Age In human years, 23. But due to her abilities she can appear to be any age she desires.
Origin Azalea may be a Demon by blood, but since her only Demonic trait was her Shapeshifting abilities, it was fairly easy to blend into a Human village. She could easily hide her massive black feathered wings with her power, and she often assumed the form of a 16 year old girl(her main form) so no one really seemed to take suspicion of her.
Currently in Tsubame
Family Azalea has no known relatives. Her Demon type was very rare and hard to come by.
Personality Azalea's personality completely relied on what form she would take. In her usual form, she was light and carefree. A bit too curious for her own good, and had very feline like qualities. Although at times of seriousness she can become very grounded and sullen. Each form has its own unique mood. It's probably better to experience it for yourself rather than explain each one as they are always subject to change.
Abilities What abilities does your character have? Azalea can ONLY shift into human/humanoid demon forms. She cannot assume the form of dragons, animals, reptiles, plants, elements etc. The only non conventional thing she can change about herself is shifting into the shadows. She often uses this as a means of defense/stealth. She also has the basic Demonic abilities: -Heightened senses; sight, smell, hearing. -Speed -Quick healing

Background story As with all Shapeshifting Demons, Azalea was born of the shadows. Not much is known about how/why this happens this way, but Demons like her seem to materialize out of another reality when they are " Born ". No mother or father is needed for this, so reproducing is unnecessary.She is still able to engage in sexual intercourse, but it is used strictly for pleasure and not for reproduction. Why or how this is possible remains to be a mystery, and the Demons who do know about her kind often capture them, and try to study them to figure out why this occurs and how to harness their powers for themselves. This is why Azalea hides within a Human village, far from the Demons who would use her powers. She is usually a peaceful girl, but not knowing about her true origins has been bothering her lately. She has decided to embark on a journey across the land in the hopes of finding others like her and maybe even solving the mystery that is her kind.

Weapon Five Foot Long, Steel Katana
Background story It all started with the creation of the Tengu demon, who later named himself "Bùtóng Shēng". It happened in ancient Egypt. A powerful demon, who was planning on creating an army of darkness drew darkness out of a fifteen year old boy. The boy had been through so much sorrow, pain, anger and hatred that the emotions took on a physical form. This was a physical form was a demon. Impressed with the form the darkness had taken on, the demon granted it five-thousand years of life and left. This had the exact effect the demon was hoping for. Without acceptance from the local humans and creatures, the demon became an aggressive, volatile wreck. The Tengu would go from village to village awaiting nightfall and murdering villagers at midnight. He did this for about three thousand years although, eventually, bored of simply accepting defeat the demon left. He was seeking a land that would accept him, the demon flew until he grew tired of flying. He found himself landing on the island of Usani in ancient china. The demon couldn't find acceptance here either, thus, he named himself Bùtóng Shēng, meaning "born different". The rest of Bùtóng's story begins here...

Age 1800 as a human, or 18 as a Lynx demon.
Origin Cat Demon Tribe
Family Her parents are the Matriarch and Patriarch of the Cat Demon Tribe.
Personality Lethe isn't afraid to tell you what she thinks about you. From birth she was expected to accomplish more than the typical villager of the Cat Demon Tribe, and so she carries on her title of Commander of the Cat Demon Army very seriously. Through many years of training new recruits, she has learned to be very opinionated, and harsh with her assumptions. She has never been interested in settling down to have a mate and cubs of her own, her ambitions for power and glory outweigh any petty happily ever after.
Abilities Revising
Weapons Lethe is a master of many different weapon types, however her personal favorite would have to be dual sword combat.
Background story Her parents are the Matriarch and Patriarch of the Cat Demon Tribe. Lethe has been the Commander of The Cat Demon Army for many years. As a Cub she had always been ambitious, never interested in romance or nice kimonos. An obvious tom-boy, she would often start fights with the males of her tribe, to prove that she was better than all of them, even though she was small. She had always been extremely competitive, and her goals led her to her current position within the Tribe.
Family No living family members, to her knowledge. Her human father perished while trying to protect her demon mother from a deadly fire, and her mother fled, abondoning Ami.
Appearance Bandages are littered all over her body, to indicate her failed attempts to fly.
Personality As expected with her age, Ami can be rather oblivious to adult matters. Things like death, war and even love, usually confuse or do not appeal to her. She is rather sensitive of her height and, due to a short temper, will usually lash out at anyone who insults her just because she is small. Ami tends to be very prideful and stubborn, going through great lengths to prove herself to non-believers and loving a good challenge. She has boundless energy and, usually, a positive outlook. Ami is used to things not going her way so because of this she had to learn dicipline the hard way. She never complains or whines much, especially over hunger or exhuastion. She taught herself that crying does no good, so she has alot of suppressed sadness and emotions, which probably leads into her short temper and paitence. Being only a child, she can be blunt and innocent in what she says and does.
Abilities Despite the inability to fly (her wings are too small and under-developed) and lack of strength, Ami has a few other useful abilities.
- Sharp eyes. Ami is very insightful and can usually pick up things with her vision that most humans cannot. She can see moderately well in any light (except extreme light or dark). Also, she has immpecable aim.
- Speed. Due to her size, Ami is relatively fast. She makes it a habit to run alot, to build up her speed too.
- Stealth. Lets just say she is very good at hide and seek. This ability makes her a very good spy.
Weapons Small, throwable Shuriken
Background story Born to a demon mother and human father, Ami lived a rather quiet and secluded life with her parents. They lived near Konoha, in a house her father built, so that his family could live alone in peace. After all, there was no right way to explain being seduced by a demoness and tricked into bareing her children to his human settlement. So, rather than dealing with the villagers, he avoided confrontation altogether from them. His love and child became his life now. Something her mother approved of. Because of this, however, Ami grew up with no other children to play with, so she was a rather lonely girl. To correct that mistake, her mother (who had no qualms with having multiple mates) disappeared back to the village Ami's father had originated from. When he found out where she had gone, he hurried to Konoha, telling Ami to stay in the house and to never leave. He came upon the village, after a few days' travel, only to find that his love was captured. They trapped her away in a cage and attempted to set her ablaze with fire. In a foolish act of love, Ami's father struggled to set her free, ripping open the cage, just in time for her to fly free. But, he was the one who was burned in the process. Without much care in the world, the demoness flew on, forgetting all about her child in the woods.
Ami obediently stayed home, where there was an ample supply of food. She managed for a week, before rations ran thin. It was then that she knew her parents would never come back for her. She left the house she called home, packed up as many supplies she thought useful and has been wandering the land since. She gave up searching for her parents, so instead, she searches for something meaningful to do with her life and tries to survive on her own.
