Just finished the game and...
...
...
....
... wut? What did I just see there? What the hell happened? I can't even tell you if I got a good ending or not! Me and the boyfriend spent twenty minutes trying to comprehend the diarrhea we saw. And where's my happy ending with Kaidan?!?
Where's that petition for a better ending? Can't believe BioWare screwed up so badly twice...

So the reapers controlled Saren, and...
...and that controlled the Reapers? It actually makes sense why there wasn't really any choice in the ending.

Almost everyone hates the end.
I felt better after raging about it with my brother. That sorta made it better, but not really.

When I found out the ending, this was pretty much my response: (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ彡┻━┻
When I found out that Thane dies not matter what happens, and the game barely even acknowledges the Shep/Thane romance (you can get the Paramour achievement in ME3 with ******** KELLY CHAMBERS of all people, but not with Thane), this was my response: (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ彡┻━┻ (I'm a Thane fan, so sue me, and Jacobmancers have my sympathies as well)
Other than that, I like the game, the ending of Priority: Tuchanka was epic (and heart-wrenching), the combat was really good, the DLC squaddie can be really funny at times, and the Vanguard class is the best it has been in all three games.
But the endings...for everything BioWare had said about the player's choices making a difference to the endings, and having many different endings. It's just disappointing and lackluster. And I know that so many other people are really disappointed in BioWare and the ending of ME3 as well.

Just fyi shep can live. Needs to be the destroy ending and i think have you EMS over 6000.

I know that one of my friends is never going to be buying anything by Bioware again, and I've pretty much given up as well. Despite me still wanting to play some of their earlier games.

But all in all, the ending has its good (and extremely) bad points. But from what I hear, there's at least 8(?) different endings to how this plays out, but so far I've gotten the one where Shepard (SPOILER), and I was super angry about it, but became determined to restart the game and try something a little different. But I was still extremely sad to see how this turned out. And pissed.

yeah, i thought the ending was a little BS. it's like... none of them are good. it's like, "oh hey let's end the game by making the whole events of the series a little bit pointless. oh, yeah, and let's ******** with your crew members too while we're at it." wtf.
it reminded me of fable 2. you know, how there's a few options, and none of them are that great. >__>
my shep was supposed to retire on a beach & make little spectre babies with kaidan. burning_eyes

It's been a while since I've posted due to ME3 but the ending was just a kick to the gonads for me. I swear, did Bioware just hand the ending to like infinity ward or something cause this was worse than the MW3 ending (and that was pretty bad itself) in my opinion. It's a shame cause I was hoping for that celebratory round of drinks with your companions after the war as well.
