Before tilted his head in thought, "Really? I always thought Vanna looked more like a captain's steering wheel. Here," the Misty suddenly charged at Rep, keeping low to the ground, "Have a closer look." and with that he arced the wheel upward, twisting at just the last minute to slam Vanna's broadside against Rep. Before was aiming for the tall Sunny's face but, alas, his arms probably just reached Rep's chest.

Rep wasn't expecting the cowardly midget to hit so ******** hard. The snappy retort he was about to make was very quickly killed on his lips as the swing of the wheel hit like a truck, sending him reeling again and resulting in him biting his own lip rather hard as his jaw clipped shut. Talking in combat apparently wasn't such a good idea.
He snarled as he tasted blood from where he'd caught himself with his teeth, the little ******** was lucky, that was all.
"Thanks for that Captain Queer of the good ship f*****t. I wasn't impressed."
Again that guilt. STOP IT.
He swung again

Before tried to pull Vanna back to block the incoming swing but wasn't fast enough. You should have gone with the initial momentum instead of against it, silly Before, the devil shield tsk'd in disapproval. Before gave his partner a mental apology as the force of the swing sent him skidding right into a table, upturning it and landing behind the fallen furniture.
Before felt his back throb from the pain when he sat up. Gritting his teeth, the Misty rose, "And I guess this is totes why you're a Sunny," he grinned. "But wasn't trying to impress you, or do I gotta do that along with give you my respect?" This was all spoken from the safety of being on the other side of an upturned table. But then, Before didn't bother waiting for a response from Rep. This time, when he charged his weapon, he drove the spiked end into his opponent. The strike would have been deeper if Rep wasn't so ******** muscled x.x (okay that aspect of Rep, Before will admit to being jealous of.)

Rep looked smug at how well his attack went over, utterly flying on wings of adrenaline at this point. There was nothing he enjoyed more than fighting and even as serious aches started to take hold, he paid them no mind. All that mattered was the fight itself, the struggle, win or lose. Preferably win.
He made an effort to deflect the blow this time around but once again the strange weapon took him off guard, it was almost impossible to predict how he'd use it. He flinched as the spike connected, trying to counter the attack and in doing so, get the hell away from the mist again, needing distance between them both to properly swing Tracey or to use the wicked hook at the top of the axe itself.
He managed to hit, but only just, panic seizing him slightly as he started to realise this wasn't entirely going his way.

Before wasn't really one for combat, not really. He just moved and reacted, sometimes he planned but they were very few and far between. Usually he just listened to his partner's suggestions and trying to carry out her instructions. Like right now, as the hook on Rep's axe dug into his arm, Before still felt like he'd need stitches for such a glancing blow. However, when Rep began backing away, the Misty leapt forward, refusing to give the Sunny the needed range. What came next was Before swinging downward, the wheel's broadside making contact with Rep along with his full weight. "Is this enough respect for you?" he asked through the gaps that were part of Vanna's design.

Rep was very amused. Even despite the way the battle was currently going, even despite the way Tracey kept offering him hints that maybe he should just call off the fight, he gave no ********. There was a lot of satisfaction in pinning normally non violent people into a conflict, and every single hit he took was made all the more worth it because he'd /earned/ it.
Still it boggled him just how hard Before was capable of hitting with that damn wheel, and it utterly knocked the air out of his lungs as he was hit with full force by the wheel, more than thankful for the fear shield that saved his ribs from what would have been...a very unpleasant set of breaks he guessed. Reeling back as much as he could as he snarled.
"No. It ..isn't. " he panted as he tried to get his breathing back to normal.
< Now William. Now pleaaase. > He clenched his hands into fists. Tracey's tone when charged was always a recipe for instant rage, and hefting the axe in both hands, he tried to shove Before back and with a roar of irritation swung the axe around with every ounce of strength he had in one last ditch attempt.

The problem with being Before? When it came down to pure brute force? He was absolute s**t for it. And so when Rep used his weapon's charge, he was sent flying a good ******** distance. His attempt at releasing Vanna's charge cut off when his flight was cut short via crashing against the wall on the other side of the mess hall.
Silly Before! Silly Before! Are you alright?!?! Vanna screeched in horror.
He all but crumpled to the ground, s**t that really ******** hurt.

Rep cackled like a madman as Before went flying. ******** yes. Nothing felt better than this, nothing at all. Even if he was about to ******** hit the floor from exhaustion, he didn't care, he once again hefted the axe and charged at before flat out.

Before felt like his lungs were collapsing in on themselves. But he grit his teeth through the pain, idly wondering in the back of his head why he was in such a predicament in the first place. But all thoughts left as he finally obeyed Vanna's incessant screaming to get up. Just in time to barely avoid taking the full force of Rep's attack.
He dove between the Sunny's feet, well, more like at Rep's feet. Vanna's width wouldn't fit, and forcing it would only result in a tight and uncomfortable fit given the spikes running along her surface. She's ribbed for his pain apparently.

Even as Before dove between his legs, Rep leapt up in the air, actually doing /more/ damage to his ankles as a result. But he couldn't ******** help it. He was more than a little paranoid about people anywhere NEAR that specific place. Especially anyone with a HUGE ******** SPIKED ******** HELL" he snarled as he tried to regain a bit of his dignity after yelping like a woman and leaping away.
He was /really/ feeling it now, his fear shield flickering like crazy, Tracey starting up his complaints in earnest, but once again Rep was convinced it was just the angel being a complete coward.
So staggering and trying to regain what little of his pride remained, he swung again, finding it very hard to actually do so.

The moment the Misty cleared the tall Sunny's feet, Before rolled back onto his feet. At his weapon's prodding, he immediately kicked off from the ground, uncaring whether or not Rep was at his limit when he swiped at the ginger's legs, going for his ankles. "Enough respect now?" he smirked.

And just then, Rep's fear shield shattered under the swipe of the wheel, and he took almost the full brunt of the swing, swiping his legs out from under him and sending him clattering to the ground in a heap, completely out of fight, completely out of strength in Tracey, he even smacked his chin off the floor as he fell, with the normal amount of pain from such a ******** HELL it hurt not to have the fear shield. He rolled onto his back with a groan and waved a hand of surrender in the air.
"Fuuuck. ******** hell. Okay, you win. You win."

It was Before's turn to do the looming, dangling Vanna with an outstretched arm directly over Rep's face. While the Misty looked like he was contemplating on dropping the wheel onto the Sunny's face, lack of FEAR-shield and all, there was no giddy smile, no triumphant smirk, no smug grin, no hint that Before was enjoying the situation. If anything, he looked unsurprised? Disappointed? Bored? Despite his own collection of injuries, he was visibly better off after this fight. "We sure messed up the Mess Hall. Guess it's now a Messy Hall, huh?" That time, Before's face cracked into a grin.
He suddenly let go of Vanna, waiting at the last possible moment before desummoning his weapon back into her bottle-cap form. The smiley painted on the pin looked appropriately pleased with Before's performance. "I could totes go on this reeeeeeeally long-winded speech about respecting each other and s**t," Before began, then leaned downward to offer a hand to help Rep to his feet. "But I ain't gonna."

Rep was convinced that the other hunter was going to kill him then and there. There was something about Before that he couldn't read in the slightest, couldn't predict the other man, one minute nervous, one minute something entirely different. He wasn't sure what to do with that sort of unpredictabilty and just tried very /very/ hard not to show the terror on his expression, simply staring wide eyed. He couldn't even rise to the pun, you didn't make smart remarks back to someone who had a razor sharp wheel in your face. You shut the ******** up and didn't make it worse.
But he refused to take the offered hand, his pride bristling at such a perceived insult, rolling onto his side to shove himself to his feet, shaking a little as his legs were still numb as all hell, picking up Tracey to dismiss the axe into his earring form. He tried to look more okay than he actually felt, narrowing his eyes. "Good."
And then he turned to step very carefully over the wreckage of the table and make his way towards the door, still wincing at the fairly deep cuts on his ankles

Before withdrew his hand back to his side, cocking his head to the side as he watched the Sunny force himself to stand without help. He wasn't sure what to do now. What did this mean for the Misty? Was Rep going to lay off his stuff? Does Before still have to give the bigger man his respect? Should he demand Rep's respect? Should he gloat? Should he apologize for rising to Rep's bait and for hurting him? Should he make Rep stay and help clean up the Mess Hall?
Should he stop over-thinking this and just pretend this whole thing never happened because it would just make Before's life simpler? Yeah, let's go with that last.
"Hey, Noah-ginger," Before called out, carefully enunciating Rep's twitter handle in order to explain why he called him that. "This-" he began to gesture to the upturned tables and chairs, and the faint Before-shaped impression on one wall, "-never happened, yeah?"
