Tafari wasn't sure if gods could bless other gods either. Not something he wanted to try anytime soon, gods already had their powers mortals were the ones who needed help.

He opened his mouth to share this view, however was cut-off by the goddess' story. Tafari promptly shut his mouth and listened to the story intently. It didn't bother him at all, in fact the smile returned to his face. This only meant she was okay right?

When her tale was finished Tafari nodded. "I'd have gotten you outta there. Mortals can be strange sometimes." He laughed. "Fun to see how different they all are though. Heard of a few prides that like to horde ladies... and some noble ones...and some I'd rather not ever see again."

Tafari shuddered at the thought of such a messed up and immoral group of animals.

Tari nodded.
"Yeah, that's exactly what I did. Not because I was afraid or anything, I just respect their opinions and all that," she replied with a nod. She'd seen a number of prides she remembered or didn't and it was all so new and interesting. But so far she hadn't run into any like what Tafari seemed to be thinking about. What kind of prde had he encountered that made him shudder and not want to ever see again?

"Oh? Any pride I should avoid?"

"I get'cha. Not much fun if we interfere... much. Mortals have to learn from their mistakes right?" Tafari shrugged. "I didn't stay long enough to get a name... They just have different names than what they are? Ech, something like that. a lot of... 'intermingling' with the family there... bad genes being passed along... I guess you'd have to see it to form your own opinion. I'd just avoid them."

Tafari looked around as if trying to spot them on the horizon. Their exact location slipped his mind.

"Hmn.... I don't really remember where I saw them...." he added as he looked back at Tari with a smile. "No use dwelling."

"Guess I'll just find them on my own. I seem to recall red giants from my past life, but I can't remember where they might be or anything like that. I wonder if they still exist?" Tari mused aloud, looking off as she tried to remember. Not a lot of prides stuck out in her memory, she wasn't even sure how long she had been gone from the world for. It was so weird, knowing you weren't the first, remembering that you had a life before this one and yet unable to remember what had happened in it. Had she had cubs once before? A mate? Had she died in a war or given up her life over loss?
Too many questions she couldn't answer and wouldn't try.

But she did have cubs now... And she needed to find them. And... it was probably better if she had others keeping a lookout...
She sighed.
"Hey, do you think you could do me a favor?" She held up one paw so that her bracelet jangled.
"If you ever see someone with one of these coins, could you tell me? It may not be this small, they have a tendency to shape themselves into how big they need to be."

Red giants? That must be a fun place. No where Tafari had been yet that was for sure.

"huh?" He leaned forward to get get a better look at the coins adorning the goddess' bracelet. An odd question, but he opted not to inquire further. Probably something to do with her father. "Oh, yeah, I can. "

He lifted his head and looked back at Tari. "Ha, any way I can find you? quicker than a random encounter? I get a feeling a whistle would be too quiet."

Oh, thank Mkodi he didn't ask her about it. It just... would have been awkward.
She looked around when he asked her how they could meet more often. She might have suggested the Haven, but she didn't like going there, her boys weren't allowed as mortals. Where did she go often?
Ah, she knew exactly where...

She pointed towards where the sun set.
"You see those mountains in the distance? When the moon is new, full, and half-full, I come back to a den on the north side of the second shortest one. I stay there for a day or two, lets the boys and I rest and relax for a bit," she replied with a nod. She was always going back there, hoping one of them had returned. It was wishful thinking but... the cozy den the old lioness had made was just right for taking a break from her travels.

Tafari looked back at the mountains she had mentioned. "yeah, I see it."

Seemed easy enough, though waiting for the moons-cycles would be a little bit of a pain. Something he couldn't do anything about really.

He looked tack at Tari. "Okay, makes sense. If I see anything I'll be sure to tell you about it. "

This seemed like the start of a new challenge for Tafari. Finding a lion with a coin, a very specific coin, was like finding a needle in an endless haystack field. And it wasn't guaranteed to be the same size as the ones Tari had on. Tafari liked the sound of this. The ambition god was almost eager to start searching to accomplish this goal.

Tari stood again and smiled at Tafari. He was so helpful sometimes, even when he didn't realize just what he was doing. The more creatures out there looking out for her babies, the sooner she would find them, right? Of course, they wouldn't be babies anymore... She'd missed all of it.
She wouldn't let that happen again.

"Well, the boys and I should probably get going. We have a lot of ground to cover before we head back to the mountain, and I don't like to push them too hard," she said, though truth be told it wasn't uncommon for them to ride on her back while she flew or ran.
She let out a whistling sound and no more than a second later the two birds of prey were flapping down out of the trees. Altair continued circling while Hermes landed at her side.
"It was really nice seeing you again, Tafari," she added, a bit of a blush coming back to her cheeks, her smile turning a little shy.

"Yeah! Good seeing you again too. Chin up!" Tafari smiled and puffed up his chest. "Next time we meet I'll have found some lions with coins!"

He did notice the little display and couldn't help receiving a little blush himself. Though he kept his head held high and his attention on her. He was already planning where to start searching for these coin carrying lions. Not that a young god had anything better to do with his time. Tafari's schedule was usually pretty open.
