[ENTERING]
Naturally, Shehk had chosen to come over and check on what 60% of the rest of the Student Council had been up to with their castle, which had made Riley, Jericho, and Junko the easiest first mark for the Pricolici, jogging along the designated walkway to make it over to their group before people started crowding to take a look at things.
Her first thought was that their design was very aesthetically pleasing, but there was um...
"Looks like you guys were busy! It looks great!" she beamed, looking over the scene, "But uh..what is..." she pointed at the 10% of Spectrae that was still up above the ground with a puzzled look on her face, scratching the side of her head, pink all over from what would be the beginnings of a horrible sunburn without some sunscream put on.
Her undead vampiric flesh kind of had that going for it, after all.

That is a ghoul who has attached herself to us. Riley curled back up on the sand and looked up at Shehk, before her hands started to dig into the sand around her. And I'm starting to think she has the right idea.
And thus, Riley began to bury herself under the sand as well. Unfortunately, this was by no means an easy task for her, and she was more making a hole than doing any effective burying. Spectrae seemed to have a science to the action, as she had buried herself well and deep while keeping covered. Riley just managed to dig until she was covered with a fine layer of sand that would probably get in every crack in her body - and yes, that means her hole.
This isn't working.. At least she wouldn't get sand in her mouth.

Shehk felt a certain peripheral pang of familiarity at Riley's answer to her inquiry, but nothing really stuck with her. It was just a lingering half-thought that flittered away as quickly as it came. "I see! Well, she certainly makes a lovely decoration." she mused, seeming less thrown off by the magical Nergal-kelp growing from the base of their structure as it was now.
However, it looked like Riley also was..umm.... well that was.... "The sand is pretty cool under the surface, actually, so she's probably nice and cooled off down there. I wouldn't fault her for doing it. Hell, I'd do it at this point.." she itched at her skin irritably. So warm. Her body was warmer underneath this sun than she could remember being in a long time. Which wasn't bad. Just extra toasty, was all.
"Need a hand with that?"

Riley peeked out from her hole, just up to the point where her eyes could be seen.
No. No no. We're good. We shall overcome.
Then she disappeared again, and tentacles were flying haphazardly in the air along with the sand.

[ENTERING]
There were only a few castles open at the moment, leaving Poke with few choices, so she opted to go visit the one that had caught her attention the most. Not to say that the other castle wasn't well done; She was quite impressed with how it had been built.
The castle she was looking at now was well built too; a nice moat of water surrounding it, spirals that looked very artistic, and a pretty star at the top. Did it look like it could take a pounding? She assumed so.
However, what had really caught her eye was the fact that some of the team members seemed more intent on burring themselves...in the sand...outside their castle. This confused the hell out of the dragoness, until she heard the Pricolici talk about the sand being cool.
Well..that sounded logical enough, she guessed.
"...Umm..." She said awkwardly. "..Your castle...looks great...." She scratched the back of her head in a lack of anything else to say as she watched the mindflayer practically bury herself in the sand along with a bunch of..swaying black tentacles?

Oh. Va bene, they were now Team Hide In The Sand. Why? The plague doctor slumped for a moment before rallying, squaring its shoulders and doing its best to look like it was completely natural, even advisable, for one to bury oneself in sand. It did, however, bring up its tailblade and swat away a flying sand-clod that was coming perilously close to smacking into their finished castle.
It would go look at other castles... in a bit. Once it had made sure its ghoulfriend was... sane.
And it hated that it was even in question.

Though it was time for people to scout out the castles, Jericho was still adding a few last touches to the construct. He glanced up to see Shehk and Poke come by, and quickly noticed that.. Riley was no where to be seen.
When he stood up, he managed to spot her tentacles sticking out of the sand.
<..Riley?> he pinged while staring down. Was she trying to see what the nergal was seeing down there? He had no clue.
"Huh? Oh thankssss, we wanted to make sure it would be sound," he replied to the other dragon. Even though he had seen her before, he was still slightly wary. She might not be a hunter spy, but that wasn't to say she wouldn't try to sabotage their creation!

"Alright, Riley. If you say so." Shehk didn't push the offer for assistance any further. She had Mal to handle that, though there was a small amount of concern even then. Something derailed when Jericho pipped up.
It did look pretty sound to her
"Well, as long as your teammate doesn't wiggle too much, I'm sure things will be fine." Then again, it looked like everybody was trying to bury themselves in the sand and it took a bit of effort to not just..giggle up a storm at Riley's attempts at it. It seemed like she was having fun.
Kinda.

ENTERING
It seemed another visitor to the group's castle would be there. Invictus, having grown weary with the company who was already seeking him out had decided to come check on the Lady Mindflayer, just to find her... half..buried in the..... sand.
Somehow he didn't seem surprised by it, however. Just looking over the structure as if evaluating it, perhaps even mentally comparing it to other things he'd seen in the past. Funny that they did this with sand now instead of..... Nevermind, he needed to accept that these were watered down at this point.
"Interesting design choice." he said simply.

"...Yes. We would not be happy if she decided to thrash our own castle," Jericho said with a huff while eyeing the nergal tails a little warily. They added a bit, but they were still very. Very. Dangerous. Maybe they should have built the castle a little further away. Out of the reach of whipping tails.
Hopefully Spectrae wouldn't decide to just... surface right now either. That would be disastrous in its own right.
Spotting Invictus coming by, he turned to the heir with a grimace. The comment wasn't necessarily positive or negative. 'Interesting' could very well be bad.
"Hopefully it will stand whatever the hell is going to be thrown at it," he grumbled while brushing off some sand from his shirt and pants.

Shehk was kind of wary of his slips of 'we', but given there was a group that could be referred to with every statement, so....she wasn't sure which it was a sign of, really. She tried to not work herself up over it. It wasn't the worst part of the scale yet.
"Yeah, that would be bad, but..I dunno, maybe teammate under the castle counts as extra defense or something. Minus some stability, though." she added, laughing a bit. It was a funny idea to her, after all. Even if it might not have been to anybody else present. "I'm sure she'll hold still for what is to come. I hope. I mean, it looks nice, so I'd hate to see something happen to it." she added, nodding.
----
Invictus's use of 'interesting' was in regard to the aforementioned buried teammate. He wasn't aware that had been a legit tactic to use, but..they would see.
"I would imagine that is the greatest challenge it will face, beyond the aesthetics of everything." he added simply. "But I trust you will all fare well." After all, this group had two out of four individuals who held his interests to any extent. It would make sense for him to 'root' for them a little bit. He'd have to go see Hel's group before the time was up as well.

Malodore felt extraordinary self-conscious as Invictus approached - not for it own sake, but for Riley's. But... it had to stop worrying, it had to just... watch over her, but not treat her like a child, she wasn't a child and-
Deeeep calming breath. Right.
It nodded to Invictus, folding its slightly sandy hands in front of it, then opened its beak in a small smile at Shehk. "We are trying to make the best of an unexpected addition. I think," it added, glancing over at Spectrae's waving blade-things.
Are you... strategizing? it thought at Riley.

[Entering]Israfel was joining the party that wasn't really a party bust was actually just all his friends and he was excited. There was also things he was not sure about. Things that were wiggling and green. They looked familiar but he was not sure. Shehk and Invictus were here too. But the siren was more focused on others. Like Riley. Sandy Riley. Looking at Malodore, Israfel grinned. "I think Riley does not want a tan. You should put some lotion on her." He grinned even more. "All the lotion." Israfel nodded. He might have been shipping right then. "Also hi Invictus! I will still make you that outfit. Where are the lady ponies? Shouldn't they be with you? Or do they have to do other horselady things? That is okay though, I am sure things are fine they just miss out on castles, OH! Are you here to conquer the castles? And- Jericho-." The siren was smirking as if something had clicked. "You should put lotion on Shehk, so she will not burn in the sun either. Yes. You should do that. All the lotion." He was shipping really hard. "In all the places everywhere." "Also I think you guys have a nergal infestation." He paused. "It doesn't try to bandage everything does it?"

Jericho let out a chuckle at Shehk's comment. Yeah. There was a kick to stability there. But hopefully it wouldn't turn out too badly. Glancing over in the direction Shehk's team was, he peered to see what her castle looked like from his spot.
"Yours is looking pretty sound too I think. I'll have to take a closer look a little later," he said before turning to Invi, "Thank you, Invictus."
Though, the dragon tensed a bit as Israfel came by suggesting he rub Shehk down with lotion. Now.. wasn't really the time for that? Besides, he was sure she could put sunscreen on herself pretty easily enough. She didn't need him to do that for her. Right?
".. Not yet. But she does carry around a lot of bandages." he said while staring at the tails again. Isra might have known this creature it seemed.

"Yes! Please do. I'd like it to be seen before they do..whatever it is they're going to do to our poor castles."
Shehk made an 'eehhHhhhehhhhhh' noise at Israfel and his shipping...though the topic of lotion was not entirely dismissed, looking at her arms and then frowning. "Yeah, I should probably lather up if I don't want to be burnt for the rest of the trials." she sighed. She could already feel her scalp starting to fry.
"Think they've got any over in those booths they set up? I...didn't realize it was going to be so sunny, so I didn't actually...y'know...bring any with me." Then again, she didn't normally need it either, so that alone could have been a reason why she didn't think to get herself covered.
Alas.
"You're welcome. As for you, Miss Iordanescu...." Invictus seemed to just be...completely magical and produced a bottle of rather high SPF out of one of his massive sleeves, offering it to the Pricolici who just..baffled for a moment with it, but didn't waste time on actually getting herself covered.
Mostly.
"Hey Israfel? Can you get the back of my shoulders for me?" she asked, making a point to ask the Siren instead of the Dragon.
