Okay, Herryk was starting to feel a little better. Maybe the heat had intensified his sour disposition, but with the sunscream on he was starting to feel a little... crunchy. If that was even possible. Plus he smelled pretty good, too.
When JD ordered Herryk to do him, Herryk willingly obliged.
He greased JD up real good.
Once he was finished smearing the stuff all over JD, Herryk shuffled around in place and sent Zar a look, holding up his hands as if to say 'you next?'

Zar was distracted from the sand by the conversation nearby, turning as Herryk approached JD to watch them both out of the corner of his eye. He really wished he hadn't as he just /stared/. Seriously, two boils oiling each other up. That was not something he woke up that morning expecting to witness at any point.
His jaw even dropped a little at that "do me".
As Herryk looked to him, the incubus put on a very /very/ deer in the headlights expression. "W...whhw.....what for?"

"Hey witch. Dead, dark and broody is trying to seduce your idol," Mr. Monty informed Emily as he plopped down next to the ghoul. She froze and slowly slid her eyes up to witness the man-on-man greasing up. Cheeks turning red, Emily looked away and out into the ocean as if it held all the answers of how exactly the sight of them made her feel.
Alas no answers were to be had...except maybe the soft whisper of the waves...it almost sounded like a hushed voice....what was it telling her....
....redrum....redrum....redrum....

Herryk gave the incubus a rather... pained look.
"So that Zar's pasty skin does not burn. Why else?"

Zar narrowed his eyes at Herryk. "PASTY?" Before quickly checking himself for manners and rolling his eyes. Fine. He could live with it. And the word /burn/ did not appeal in the slightest to a boil with wings made of paper. Fine.
He wandered over and knelt in front of the draugr with his back to him, flaring his wings out of the way and tossing his hair out of the way over a shoulder. "As long as it makes me a little more fireproof."

Sufficiently oiled, JD took his remaining stick (and, subsequently, schtick) and tapped Emily on the shoulder. What was she looking at?
"Hey ghoulie, want me to butter you up?" Hmmm. Why did that sound odd?

"Herryk makes no promises."
About the fireproof.
With a disgruntled sigh, Herryk started slathering a brick of butter sunscream all over Zar's back. When he was finished, he handed Zar the final lump of butter sunscream, gesturing over at Nuru.
"Do him."

As Zar tossed the frisbee, Nuru shifted into a massive wiry hound to chase that Frisbee all the way down the beach. Catching something, he pranced back proudly.
Only it wasn't a frisbee, or ball , or stick, but rather a smelly seashell that he promptly spat up on their sandcastle. One which erupted with life to scurry inside the mouth made of sand and leaves where it cowered in fear of the black dog boil.
He poked his nose in the mouth of the skull and grrrd at his prizes attempt at evading him... but then a newer better scent caught his attention as well as the finger pointing.
Oh my. What happened to his team mates? They were suddenly all shiny, smooth and smelled like delicious. Needless to say he padded over to sniff Zar over curiously and resist the strong urge to lick the sunscream off.

Zar rather enjoyed the attention, though of course remained deadly formal throughout. Strong hands and all that.
When he was handed the butter though he looked utterly befuddled at it and slightly even /more/ befuddled at the order. Before it dawned on him what the other boil meant.
He eyed Nuru with that same look of hopelessness he'd worn when they arrived and considered just feeding him the sunscream instead. With a roll of his eyes he stated bluntly in his most authorotative voice.
"Turn back, turn around and kneel down." He took on a slightly glazed expression as he tried not to think about the sentence too much.

Nuru looked so confused by Zars tone buuut obeyed. Backing up, turning around but instead of kneeling sat down. He couldn't figure out how to kneel in this form honestly.
He still looked over his shoulder at Zar curiously.

Zar looked even more deadpan.
"Turn back. Change back. I'm not putting sunscream on a DOG. I draw my lines somewhere."

"Oh. Right!" He chuckled before shifting back like a good boil. Tail flopping side to side.
"What is this stuff? Smells like butterrrr~" He licked his lips hopefully.

ENTERING
The first castle Shenny decided to visit looked quite awkward. A farcical bird grotesquely impaled by its tower could easily make her day. However, one couldn't say the castle was bad, perhaps creators just had a weird sense of taste. "Oh wait," Shenny reminded to herself. "It's not about taste at all".
Shenny looked around searching for any team members.

Zar finally got to buttering up Nuru's back with the sunscream, being exceedingly careful with his /razor sharp claws/. "Apparently it stops your skin burning." He hadn't asked exactly /how/ this happened. But assumed anything that meant less fiery dissapations was always good.
As he finished up however, he spotted Shenny, their first spectator to come down and have a look at their looming sandcastle.

JD was still standing there, butter slowly melting in his hand. Well, the not-butter anyway.
