Ser shifted back and forth on her feet, a little nervous about approaching someone. She started to fidget wit h the cake taking a bit before it became too obvious. She just couldn’t sit still for long. “No we haven’t met. I’m new in a way though.” She spun placing the cake of the table and turned around finishing the circle before taking his hand and shaking it. “It’s nice to meet you by the way Glyph. She smiled brightly up at him quite in awe to be talking to a tree.

She nodded vigorously as he mentioned the candied fruits. “I’ll try to remember that. Everything looks great” She watched him as he looked at the crowded just taking in how he moved. She relaxed a little as he moved closer to her height and she could relax her neck.

She tapped the gem on her chest causally in a small beat nervously. “I’m from earth. As for who’s in here I’m not sure yet. But he’s grumpy. He got really mad when I got lost; but I’m rambling.” She forced her hand away from the gem. “Are you looking for someone? I didn’t mean to disturb you; but you just looked so awesome I wanted to say hello everything here is so amazing” As she talked her hands moved to one of the braids hanging down starting to undo it.

She had not met forest, though it was not hard at all to see which one of the gathering he was. There was only one in the room that would fit the description. She watched the tall tree-man for a moment before turning her attention back to Kios. It was so strange to think that she was older than him in human years yet now he looked older than her. Gods ... they never ceased to amaze her.

Kios's suggestion made her laugh. That was something her mother would moan about too, ruining her apitite with sweets. Though of course, like Kios that only made the idea more attractive.
"Of course! Dessert is the best place to begin. It's the best course."

Elik felt like his reaction was perfectly warranted. Seriously, what ?! It wasn't like they had been gone for eons !

Definitively not something he expected, really.

"Well, I am a druid." He saw nothing wrong with his, of course, but was distracted by Adi finally coming, lacing his fingers into her's. "You look lovely."

That was the right thing to say, right ? Yes, relationships certainly weren't Elik's forte at all.

Whisteria laughed and clapped Elik on the shoulder. "I'll leave you two to yourselves. Do remember to behave." The druidess slipped away after she offered that little bit of 'advice' to avoid her nephew's inevitable retort. Besides, she was sure the two of them would prefer to enjoy the party by themselves without her practically playing chaperone.

Aska hadn't really meant to show up to the party; he'd followed the sound of many voices, and found himself in a large group. He didn't need to socialize much to be happy, but he certainly didn't need Althai in the back of his head to know that he would be well-served to introduce himself to Althai's future (past? whatever) companions.

So he mingled, making small talk. Everyone looked so strange and different--he wasn't quite sure how he'd avoided seeing so many different types of faces in all his years on this world, but supposed a place like the Pantheon must attract all kinds. He was about to go investigate the flowers--mindful, as ever, of the strange greenery--when he backed into someone. Turning, he found it was a tall woman, at least three inches taller than he stood himself. "Pardon me," he said, pale eyes going a bit wide at the frankly alarming shade of her purple skin. Was she one of the gods, too? They were like termites coming out of the wood, he swore it.

"Er, excuse me," he continued, moving to side-step around her.

He stopped when she spoke to him again, and then he smiled just a little bit. "Aska," he said, figuring it was a casual occasion and if the tall woman wanted anything more from him, like a surname, then she would ask. Right? That would be polite and courteous, and most people he'd met so far had been both polite and courteous, period.

"And your name?" It probably wouldn't be a sensible one, but then, most people he'd met didn't have sensible names by his standards.

Grace of course did not sense any of these things. She may have a gift, but it was only for the spirit world and there were none of those floating around. This made her very happy indeed. Of course she still had Nergal's feather on a chain around her neck, she wore it always. Just because the spirits were less, did not mean that they were not harmful.

"Oh, these look sooo good, don't you think?" She asked, grinning up at Kios. She half wondered how he was going to eat with the silly veil in front of his face. "Do you have any other friends here?"

"Thanks!" Adi positively beamed at the compliment. Though the night elf lacked experience in relationships, so did she, so she was unlikely to take much notice. "You look nice, too." He always looked nice, as far as she was concerned.

"I'll make sure he does," She promised Whisteria as she left, chuckling. The chances of Elik misbehaving, she figured, were pretty slim, as she had yet to see him do anything of the sort.

"Come on, there's someone I want you to meet!" Now that she'd fetched her boyfriend, it was time to start introducing him to people! First up was her cousin, as he was the first she'd spotted...but also because she was curious about his friend! Was she his date?

She tugged gently to get Elik to follow her. "Kios~!"
