"Your mother was very wise." It was evident from the tone of voice that the woman was no longer, just as Illisia's parents had moved on. He recalled little of the father, being a druid who had spent most of his daughter's life asleep. The mother, however, had been a force of nature on her own right.
"And that is good. If you are in need of anything, through, do not worry about seeking me out." Be it simply someone to talk to. He would understand more closely than Aska might think he would, at first glance.
His was a viewpoint that was not common among the reborn, as far as he could tell.
"I am mostly outside, wandering the forests or the market, but my door inside the pantheon is the one bearing a large tree. If you need me, my aoidei will likely know where I am."

Aska offered a smile, and said, "Thank you. I might have to seek you out, if I remain as... befuddled... as I have been." Which he might! He didn't know. And the directions he'd been given seemed accurate enough, in that he could likely narrow things down enough to find the Dragon King if there was need. Aska had always been self-sufficient in most things, but then, most things didn't usually end in one's sacrifice to a reborn god.
Usually.
(He'd heard strange things about Qaied.)
He got to his feet and bowed, one of the courtly bows he'd given Tian Yue. "Thank you, Xun Jiang," he said, "And I hope I see you again."
