The guy chuckled, "No problem and good luck man. Be careful though, she's fiesty. She almost took a chunk out of my hand last year." he said, looking at his right hand, where teeth marks were still visible.
Dawn was still in the classroom, reading. She was reclined back in her chair, her legs crossed and her book leaning against her leg. Her ears twitched as she heard Rune getting closer and she turned so she faced the windows, giving off the body language of not wanting to talk to him.

Rune walked up to the classroom that Dawn was in. He was thankful that he was a good actor. He walked up to her. "Hey...look about my attitude earlier today, I just wanted to say i'm sorry. I just have a lot going through my head right now." he said as he scratched his head. "So, in order to make it up to you i'm gonna be your personal servant for the day." he said with a slight bow.

Dawn didn't even look up from her, "Pigs will fly before I believe that Masters. You've had a bad attitude since we first met in kindergarden and if you think one little apology is gonna get you on my good side, then you'd better think again. I'm not as easy as those other girls you convinced to go out with you in past years so if you're trying to get the same thing out of me that you got out of me you can just go to hell." She growled, turning the page.

He raised his eyebrow and sighed a bit. "Then what do you want me to do in order to gain your trust?" he asked, still looking at her.

"You'll need to have a complete change in attuitude before I can believe you. None of your bull anymore." Dawn said, finally lifting her eyes from her book to glare at him over her shoulder.

He nodded. "Very well Dawn. Whatever you want." he said as he put his hands in his pockets.

Dawn sighed and closed her book, "Just ask nicer from now on. When I need to talk, listen and comfort me. No insults. Be like a friend." She said.

Dawn nodded, "Good," She said, opening her book again and beginning to read as the bell rang to signal the end of this period.

Rune walked back to his friends, a smile on his face. "She took the bait already. Now we just have to wait in time."

The boy who gave him the idea smile, "Good job dude." He said, nodding in congradulations.
Dawn put her book away and got up, leaving for class. She walked past Rune and his friends without looking at them.
