"I see we have something in common then on both counts..." she said as she smirked a little, having listened to his story "you come from a place where I would of been at home in" she said with a small sigh, she really did miss causing destruction, she could here...sort of, but not like she used to be able to, back home it was a constant every day occurrence, usually multiple times a day, hell, usually multiple times in an hour, here was just boring. "Anywho I guess I am glad you made it here safely..." she said, thinking that he would of been one who she would of loved to torture had it not been for the fact he now had one of her eggs "I guess how we both got here will forever remain a mystery" she said, having seen others like them hanging around not just within her lot.

Drizzt was a bit surprised that she would be comfortable in a place like the Underdark, but this was a place of second chances, and he didn't hold it against her. "It doesn't do to dwell on the past, life is about moving forward. This is a place to start over, a fresh start." he said softly, watching the female.
"I've always found that with enough faith, you can make anyplace home..." he hoped that here, he wouldn't have to watch those he would grow to love, age and die before him. That was the one thing he always had trouble with.
Drizzt found that as he talked with DM, he was growing excited and even anxious to raise this child. He never had children, never had the chance to be the mentor.
Briefly his thoughts flickered to the surface elves his people had slaughtered, and pain flashed across his face, before he swallowed it. That was a different sort of influence.
