Rin was sent practically flying backwards from the blast of his attack. Her shield clearly weakened from the blow.
It was like a high pitched pained squeal clawing at her mind. She couldn't deny him. Holding him up as he released his FEAR - repairing her shield. A soft contented sigh filling her thoughts.

Rep snarled irritably as even his best hit didn't seem to phase her, was this the reason why they picked people to join moon? Because they were ******** like attacking a brick wall. He wasn't sure he was even making a scratch on her and it was pure raw anger and frustration that drove him to lash out again at her despite being hardly ready to.
"You can't ******** win this!" He would NOT lose again to a woman.

Rin felt the lash against her shield but turned to swing Byr at him again. Missing completely but using his momentum to try and sidle right up on Rep again. It worked so well last time...

Rep could only get more and more and more furious the harder it was to bring her down, already able to feel the sting of fatigue in his muscles. He needed more hits, more charge, more determination. He was a Sun. He had to at least win some ******** battles, all he'd done since he got there was lose and lose and lose.
He lashed out with a snarl. He was NOT a loser.

Rin wasn't suffering the same thoughts as Rep. Her mind instead sharpened as it filled with the dark thrill of proper battle.
It wasn't easy. It was a fantastic challenge even. It had her heart racing and she felt so alive as she Swung Byr around again - this time connecting.

Rep was desperate and it showed. He wasn't sure how to hide his desperation the way some of the other people he'd fought did. He just wanted to win, and even as Tracey snarled at him about watching it, that he was on the edge of a fear shield meltdown, he didn't care. He had to HAD TO HAD TO get a hit in. Even if it killed him.

The hit landed and Rin spun back around just barely nicking him with Byr for his troubles. She wasn't about to give up. Not at all.
"You can do better than that Rep. I know you can." Her brows furrowed as she challenged him. This was a fight. A hard fight and she was keen to keep it that way. Refusing to let him get too distracted.

Her goading drove him into an absolute and total frenzy, summoning every single ounce of strength he had into one last desperate charge, his fear shield flickering with effort even as he did so. But even as he brought the axe down on Rin, muscles screaming with the effort of the swing, Tracey clearly giving everything he had into the blow, he had a sinking feeling it wasn't enough.

It wasn't.
She took the full hit though and damn it was a doozey. It sent her back further AGAIN. But, she still got back up and she steadied Byr before running back at Rep. Swinging her axe powerfully down onto his fear shield.

While it was a powerful hit that seemed to finally crack her. Byr glowed in her hands again - the FEAR around her mending itself yet again.

She looked healthy, how did she still look ******** healthy? She didn't look phased.
He didn't care. He could stand so he could fight and he wasn't about to lose to her, she could be faking, she could be fluking.
And now of all times Tracey was too heavy to swing, going wide of the mark as Rep's strength started to properly fail him.
