 Johnny Kurusel Mandango "No matter how dark it gets, I know I'm not alone." ┈ ━ ═ ☆ ═ ━ ┈ Johnny just continued to smile at her. When he heard her response, he nodded calmly and summoned his keyblade to his hand again. "Practice eh? Sounds good to me. I just hope you're ready." He winked at her and twirled his keyblade around to get a better feel for it. In a sense, he was also trying to loosen himself up to prepare for a tough battle. Once he was finally ready, he dashed towards her, but right before he reached her, he stopped, twirled around behind her and aimed a kick at her back. She's not going easy anymore? Then neither am I! Location: Olympus Coliseum, Arena - Feeling: Confident, excited - Health: 100/100 - MP: 100/100 - Ooc: I just use HP to keep track with how my character is doing.
Riku studied his opponent, the way he stood, his voice, and of course his keyblade. He smirked when he was asked if he knew the rules. "Of course I know the rules." He replied with a light chuckle. He wasn't sure if one could even take part if they didn't know the rules. Wait, who was he kidding? It wasn't like someone had to pass a test before they could compete.
"The name's Riku" He informed before charging at Leon with his keyblade held high. When he drew close enough he stabbed down at him, aiming for his torso. It wasn't an attack that was difficult to dodge to block, it was really just to get things started.

{ K a t h e r i n exxxxE v e r h a r t } "Everything's on fire."▬▬▬ ▬▬▬ ▬▬▬⇊ Katherine felt a slight smirk tug at her lips at his remark. "Of course I'm ready." She nodded. Then he had to go and wink. Just when she was recovering from the previous shock. I swear he's just doing this to mess with me. She thought with an inward frown. A kind opponent would be more dangerous than a cruel opponent. But she had already promised she was going to go all out. Her muscles tensed as she prepared to swing into action. She reacted too soon, raising to block a front strike but leaving her back completely open. She grimaced as the kick connected and she stumbled forward, nearly falling to her knees. She twisted her torso, swinging her keyblade at him and using that momentum to regain her balance.

Just as the blade came down, he quickly raised up his blade so that it curved slightly to his right, so that when the blade came down, the force of the thrust would be enough to drive it downward to the ground. Once their blades collided, there was a skid of metal against metal, so now it was up to him, whether he had the speed to recover. Johnny Kurusel Mandango "No matter how dark it gets, I know I'm not alone." ┈ ━ ═ ☆ ═ ━ ┈ Johnny was actually kind of surprised his attack had worked so well. He was trying to prepare himself for whatever might come next, but what he wasn't prepared for was her dang reaction! Before he could even react, her keyblade hit him hard in the side of his face, sending him crashing to the floor of the ring and skidding to the edge. With a groan, he closed his eyes and grinned, though the pain was tremendous. Damn girl, that hurt! I think you may have just broken my jaw!
For a short while, he just lay there with his eyes closed, contemplating about whether or not he should pretend to be unconscious. Would she get furious with him for letting her just win the match like this, or would she yell at him to get up? Her reaction to hurting me might be cute enough to watch. I'd like to see this. Putting a pained look on his face, Johnny lay there with his eyes closed, fighting hard to refrain from having a giggling fit as he waited to see what his opponent would do. Quote: Johnny pretends to be unconscious. Why? Because he's a dolt? Probably!

It really looked like it hurt. She slowly grew more nervous as he laid still. She refused to panic. It was possible he was only playing possum. She slowly edged over, standing on guard, just in case he did suddenly spring into action. Gently, she prodded him with her foot. "Hey..Hey, are you alright...?" She asked, furrowing her brows.
Her gray eyes searched for any sign of movement. "I didn't..mean to hit you that hard.." She frowned, an expression of concern on her face. "...Hey, come on now.." She muttered as she knelt, giving his shoulder a rough shake. "This..This isn't funny! Come on, wake up..!" Now panic began to set in. Was she going to have to carry him to the medical wing?

Johnny Kurusel Mandango "No matter how dark it gets, I know I'm not alone." ┈ ━ ═ ☆ ═ ━ ┈ A large grin began to slowly creep upon Johnny's face as he listened to Katherine worry about him. Upon opening his right eye, he began to laugh and reached up to poke her nose. "I knew it! I knew you'd have a cute reaction if I played dead." He pushed himself up and sat there on his knees just smiling at her, though the right side of his face was currently busted up. "Yes, it really, reaaaaally hurts, but I'm all right. I think. It sort of feels like you broke my jaw, but I don't know if you really did or not. Now that I think on it, it kinda hurts to talk. Do I look all right to you?" Johnny rubbed the top of his head for a moment as he watched Katherine. He really wasn't sure if he was all right or not.
After a time, he finally stood up and brushed himself off. Looking down, he noticed that he was still clutching his keyblade tight in his hand. "Heh, I didn't even realize I was still holding this. Then again, I'm feeling a little woozy. I think I'm tasting blood..." Swapping his keyblade into his left hand, the young man reached up and felt his face with his right. Poor Johnny began to panic as he felt what seemed to be his jaw, but it wasn't solid, it was more like the bone had been shattered and his face was more like jelly now. He looked quietly into Katherine's eyes and smiled awkwardly. "Ummm...you sure you don't want to just call this quits? I...I don't want to hurt you. Yeah! Holy Jesus this hurts!!!" The poor young man decided it was best not to say anything more. Taking a deep breath, Johnny calmed himself down and put the pain he was feeling out of his mind. All right, she wanted the fight to continue until one of us won...I'll respect her wishes. I'll continue until, well...I just can't go anymore? With a shrug, he held his keyblade tight in both hands and rushed at her, quickly thrusting at her chest before leaping over her to attack her from behind. It was an attempt to shake her and knock her down, not to cause any serious injury. Quote: Johnny freaks out about the damage Katherine dealt! He charges forward, using a different fake out technique before attacking Katherine from behind!

As expected, Leon was able to block it with ease. The small smile still rested there, but disappeared when their blades met. He could feel what was happeneing and quickly broke away. He backed up quite a bit in a short amount of time, with a new look on his face. Determination.
Riku dismissed his keyblade for what he had planned next. He made a small leap, and thrusted his left hand outward, casting Dark Aura while letting out a small battle cry of "UuurRAAH!" as he did so. The volley of Dark Firagas with a slight stop effect were headed straight towards Leon. The moment Riku's feet met the ground his keyblade was back in hand and he charged towards the other man. Dismissing his weapon may have seemed pointless in the first place, but it was just easier for him to cast without it.

He took advantage of the wide flat shaft of the Keyblade, and used it almost as a shield. The fire dissipated when it hit, but some went around the side, burning his forearms. "Agh! It burns like Hell fire!" He grunted in pain, lowering his keyblade to a position that dealt with the pain of the burns the most, which was lowering his left hand and letting his arm hang there, while he held the blade with his right hand. He jumped forward, ready to meet Riku as well."Not bad, but you'll have to do better than that!" She frowned, trying to look menacing but it came out more like a pout. Her eyes widened when she heard his assessment of his injuries. A broken jaw? "S...sorry about that.." She muttered, looking down. She felt really bad now. She hadn't meant to hit him that hard. Now his jaw might have been broken. She really hoped they had good doctors here. "Um..you look..a little swollen but..other than that.." She muttered, biting her lip. God, she felt terrible now.
She frowned as he rose. "If you're not feeling well, then we shouldn't continue." She stated, standing as well. She really rather doubted that was his reason for wanting to call it quits. At least, at this point. "You're injured..We shouldn't continue.." She nodded. She didn't want to hurt him again. Not after that. But he seemed determined to continue. As he attacked, she moved back into a defensive position. Her expression hardened as she lifted her keyblade. "I mean it..." She warned. This time, she held her position as he jumped over her, turning and ducking. Just as her head went down, her keyblade went up to block just in the nick of time. "You're hurt. We should...stop." She stated, hoping her expression conveyed just how serious she was about this. She..wanted to make sure she hadn't injured him that badly..

Johnny Kurusel Mandango "No matter how dark it gets, I know I'm not alone." ┈ ━ ═ ☆ ═ ━ ┈ When his attack was blocked, Johnny paid close attention to Katherine's movements, actions, and words. After a moment, when he went to speak, he began to wobble and fell to one knee. Wow this hurts. Didn't think I was feeling so crummy after that blow. Johnny groaned as he forced himself to stand again. Looking into her eyes, he simply smiled sweetly. "Didn't you want to continue? I'm okay, might be a little wobbly, but I'd hate to call it quits...quits now. Whoa..."
Reaching up, he rubbed his head and looked around. "Have to admit that I don't exactly feel very well though. I'll make you a deal. If you can knock me out of the ring or something like that, I'll admit defeat okay? Until then, let's keep going. It shouldn't be hard to knock me out or something right?" Johnny winked at her and zipped around to her side, raising his keyblade high before rushing towards her and swinging downwards at her left shoulder. The young man was quite certain she would block the attack, but he wasn't sure if she'd even bother to retaliate or not. Johnny certainly hoped she would... Quote: Johnny has issued a challenge! He charges and attempts to immobilize her left arm with a downward strike.

Riku resisted the urge to smile when Leon commented the fire burned. Well of course it did, it was fire after all, dark or not. Despite the damage, Leon came straight at him. "I was hoping I'd get lucky" Riku informed informed not backing down. The moment their blades made contact Riku quickly moved left so he wasn't directly infront, and turned Way to the Dawn as such an angle where it could slide along the edge of his opponent's keyblade and straight towards his right arm. It was really a matter of weather or not Leon could react fast enough now.

"Your biggest mistake, was totally counting this arm out." He said, reaching up his left hand, and grabbing the boy by the wrist, stopping the keyblade where it was, which was right above the Hand Guard on Metal Chocobo. While it hurt to much to even think of holding his keyblade, its firm grip was enough to stop Riku's attack. Leon laughed, sending a his knee up to hit him hard in the stomach. Rikus only options at this point were to continue the attack, and hope that the knee wouldnt hurt to bad, or step back. Either way, he'd have to think fast since Leons attack was quick. ══════════════ The bitter ѕαdηεѕѕ of someone left αlσηε Quote: Leon grabs Riku's wrist and stops his attack on Leon! Riku wanted to kick himself for making such a careless mistake, but it seemed he didn't need to because Leon had a knee headed straight for him. Of course he wasn't going to just stand there and take it. Plus this closeness was a perfect opportunity to attack, seeing as it would be difficult to dodge being so close. Just as the knee drew close Riku directed his left hand as Leon and casted another Dark Aura. No dismissing of the keyblade this time around, there was no time for that. Riku coughed and winced as the knee connected. He didn't regret anything though.

Mason XA кιℓℓєʀ In me is a killer in уσυ X══════════════ Leon couldnt help but dread the attack that was coming. he quickly let go of Riku's wrist, and kicked him squarely on the chest, not enough to any real damage to him, just to quickly send him back, as well as disrupt his aim slightly. Some of the attack hit his left arm once more, and Leon muttered some unintelligible obscenities. "Easy kid, wanna have some fried EFFING ARM!" He roared. His arm was almost entirety covered with burns. He would do not fighting or hand holding with that hand any time soon. He leaped forward at Riku a few feet away, sending a large arc, grunting in pain. ══════════════ The bitter ѕαdηεѕѕ of someone left αlσηε Quote: Leon's left arm is pretty messed up, but Leon is still going for it with a uppercut of his keyblade
