You Followed Me?All she sent was a letter? After her!Joint Roleplay 1 mistalina13 Morgan laughed, getting out had been almost too easy. She had sent Toki on an errand that would keep him occupied a while and he was all to happy to go. Then she had simply slipped out, leaving a note just in case the Aoide returned before she did. The last she thing she needed was for him to worry. Toki worried to much already, the last thing she needed was for herself to be added to that list or for him to feel responsible if something happened to her. She strolled down the street of the small town she ended up in after coming through the portal from Earth. It was mostly the same as she remembered, if a bit more tainted around the edges and less people as well. That made her sad, considering how lively the town had been when she was last here. Paint, the akuti, was perched on her shoulder, happily chirping and fluttering his wings despite the drab-ness of the surroundings. "It's too bad...Destruction's taint reaches so far now." Morgan muttered, reaching up to give the fluffy creature on her shoulder a gentle scritch as she continued on her way. She had no real purpose for being here, except for needing to get out of the Dragon's apartments having grown increasingly lonely without his presence. Besides, who could stand a bored Aoide for that long?
Sierra_penman Ser looked around carefully. She was quite certain the ally she had ran down had lead to quite a different location. It seemed almost surreal, even if it wasn't the happiest looking of places. She had walked around a bit but had ended up at the same bench about 4 times know. After having been out all night she was getting tired. She slung her brother's pack sack down onto the bench. "Well I wanted to find Morgy So maybe this is a step in the right direction..." She noticed the hint of sadness in her voice and shook her head putting on a big smile. She tossed her arms over her head stretching. Wandering around for so long with out a plan maybe wasn't such a good ideal. "To bad its a little late to plan anything." Ser sat down on the bench next to her bag. Her head hung looking at the ground. She could feel the tears bitting at her eyes. Why had Morgan left to... without even a word... she lend back looking at the sky before calling out, oblivious to the fact that other people were around, "Morgy where did you go!"
mistalina13 Morgan rounded another corner which only leading to another split of streets. If memory served this wasn't too far from the portal that had brought her here and part of her wondered if that portal remained even though she knew it was only one way. She shook her head, dismissing the thought. No sense in getting homesick now, when there was no way home. She turned back the way she had come from. Perhaps it was time to go back, it was begining to bore her being here anyway. 'Morgy! Where did you go!?'Out of instinct Morgan whirled around. Was she hearing things? She had to be! There was no way, only one person she knew called her 'Morgy'. Homesickness.... had to be homesickness.
Sierra_penman Ser was leaning back her head tilted fully back. Thats when she saw a girl who looked strangely like Morgan. See we didn't need to plan. Make sure it's.. Ser whipped around so she was kneeling on the bench the bow of her kimono tangling around her. Her almost skipped a beat there looking back at her was deffently Morgan. "Morgy" she yelled. She got up with some difficulty do to her bow; almost falling off the bench completely. She straightened her oboe out so it was fully behind her and untangled. Once she dusted her self off from the embarrassment of being tangled up. she ran forward a few steps closing the gap between her and Morgy and jumping the last bit before clutching onto her dear friend in a full out glomp. "I found you Morgy!"
mistalina13 Morgan too busy convincing herself that she was hearing things to notice someone launch themself at her. The glomper knocked her to the ground, thankfully she only hit hard enough to knock the wind out of her and send Paint fluttering up chittering irritably. Her eyes went wide as she stared up at the person who was latched onto her. It took her a moment to stutter out it, seeing as she nearly didn't believe who she saw. "S-S-Ser!?"
Sierra_penman Ser got up. Once more having to fix her clothing. Ah the cost of a great dress. She bowed low. "Ser at your service." she stood up smiling. Everything was right once more she had morgy back. "Morgy where are we?" Ser said looking around at the dark town once more. She spins around twice on the spot. "I thought i was carrying something..." she says holding her chin. Pack Sack. Ya i though i had it too. Ser looks up at the little butterfly mouse flying around chirping. "Oh how cute! she says pointing and the little thing flying around"
mistalina13 It took a moment for Morgan to collect herself and get to her feet. It was most definately Ser, no one else could replicate that attitude. She looked up toward Paint who was still fluttering around, chittering irritably. "Paint, it's alright...you can come down now." The winged guinea pig floated down lazily resettling himself on Morgan's shoulder before letting out another irritated chirp and falling silent. "His name is Paint...I wouldn't advice petting him now though, he's a little testy when startled like that." She brushed off her pants as she watched Ser for a moment. "How did you get here anyway?"
Sierra_penman She looked around and point at a near by wall. "I think i came out of the wall." As she had turned to point she saw her pack sack on the bench. "Pack Sack there you are." She ran over hugging it and tossing it back onto her back. "So what have you been doing in a place like this Morgy?" she said getting closer to Morgan staring a paint again. leaning in a little the temptation to pet the cute paint really tempting.
mistalina13 "The portal." Morgan muttered. So it was still there. "I live here now, Ser, and it seems you do too because there isn't a way home anymore." She shifted uneasily, not knowing how her friend would take the news assuming she noticed at all.
Sierra_penman Ser looked up smiling. "Live here? Well looks like I have no choice. I'll stay too." She said smiling brightly. "I'm not leaving you again Morgy don't worry." she said standing straight saluting. "So where do you live? I don't plan on leaving your side. So i'll just stay with you" She said nodding to her self.
mistalina13 "It's a bit of a walk, even with the portals." Morgan sighed, Ser didn't seem to realise the gravity of the situation she was in now and that worried her somewhat. None the less she was happy to have a friend around and maybe Ser could occupy Toki. She laughed at the thought of that as she set off at a walk toward the first portal.
Sierra_penman Ser walked side by side holding her head up with her hands that she rested behind her head. "OH Morgy Wait." She took the pack sack off and fished through a side pocket taking out a little bag before swing the pack back on. She tossed Morgy the little bag. "You left it my house last time you came over to try and teach me how to play again. And i brought some of your other stuff to with me. I didn't know if you had planed to leave or not so i was worried you may not have packed." She took smiled happily like she always did. She was with Morgy again nothing else mattered.
mistalina13 Morgan opened the bag just enough to peer inside. It was one of her dice sets. "I was wondering where those had gone." She clipped the bag onto her belt as they walked along. "I did have some of my things with me, but not much..." She sighed and ran her hands through the hair that was hanging over her shoulders.
Sierra_penman She looked over at Morgan. She seemed sad. But wasn't this kinda her ream to go for an adventure in some magic land? "So Why don't you tell me about what you've been doing since you disappeared. Slain a dragon? Fell in love with a prince? Got stuck in a romantic triangle of tragic yet passionate love? You know the stuff all the Mangas and table top games are full of." She said with a grin poking Morgy in the side.
mistalina13 "I live with a dragon actually..." Morgan looked back toward her friend. "...I'm his lov-girlfriend." She smiled sheepishly. "And it is sort of a love triangle...but that's a long story." She giggled when she was poked. "You'll like him though, he's really sweet."
Sierra_penman Ser turned around putting a hand out to stop Morgan. "Wait...you have a boy friend and yet you...." she shook her head rubbing her temples. before throwing her arms to her sides. "Morgan you have a boyfriend!"She turned around on her heels and started walking again. "When we get to your home I'm doing you makeup and hair so its more presentable bag jeans and just brushing your hair just won't cut it. But don't worry I packed my kit well have you done up in no time." She started to skip down the lane she was so excited to finally get to play with Morgy again. "Dragons are regal don't you remember the ebberon campaigns we played. No wonder its a love triangle you're not even trying. Oh ya!" She said turning around and walking backwards. "I'll show you surprise number 1 after i met him. It will knock his socks off! There won't be a doubt in his mind who to pick after he sees it!" She said full of confidence the hint Morgan might be the one in love with two guys not even crossing her mind.
mistalina13 Suddenly Morgan wished she hadn't said anything at all. Makeup...messing with her hair and a suprise? She cringed mentally. Mentioning she had a boyfriend was just another excuse for Ser to treat her like a little girl does a doll. "I will respect his decision, no matter what it turns out to be." Even if he simply chooses to keep both of us. She didn't want to think of the alternative of Tian Yue choosing Universe over her right now.
Sierra_penman "Of course i would expect nothing less. But if you really love him Morgy theres no harm in marketing what you've got. You could be really pretty Morgy just give me 30 minutes on you and you could have any guy you want. I mean is it really fair to let him pick someone with out showing him what you have to offer." She said with a grin but suddenly clamped both hands over her mouth hiding the evil smile. "Or have you shown him something else?"
mistalina13 Morgan blushed and laughed nervously. "Are you roundabout trying to ask me if he's seen me with my clothes off?" She fiddled idly with the tips of her hair. It certainly had been more than that, but she wouldn't mention the fact to Ser. Time to change the subject somewhat, hopefully Ser would just go along with it. " 'sides...the other he loves...my lord's feelings for him are far older." She chewed on her lip.
Sierra_penman "All the more reason to put on the heat. They may have had to romance but you can win him over with passion." Ser said nodding to her self. "Morgy what do you mean your lord's? Hes not forcing you to do anything right?" She said concern for her friend all over her face.
mistalina13 "No, it's just a more formal way to refer to him." Morgan hadn't even realised she'd said it. "His name is Tian Yue, he's a god Ser." She wondered if Ser would believe it. "I'm his follower as well as his lover."
Sierra_penman Ser nodded before turning around "Well i guess we all see the guy we love as a god Morgy. But just remeber it takes two to have a relationship" She closed her eyes Morgy hadn't changed at all but to have a lover she finally had a real excuse to doll her up. "Tian Yue. I guess thats a good name for a dragon. Tian and morgy, sitting in a tree...." she though to her self for a moment. "Yup deffently a good match."
mistalina13 Morgan sighed, Ser didn't take her seriously. Her friend would find out soon enough when she actually got to meet him. She raked her hands through her hair, rounding the last corner and heading down an alley to the first portal. "It'll feel the same as when you went through the first one...they'll be one more like this after it to get to where I'm staying." She peered over her shoulder at Ser before stepping into the portal.
Sierra_penman Ser nodded and fallowed her friend. She would have to find out more about Tian Yue when she got to meet him. She looked around at yet another changed landscape. "So Morgy do you live alone with him?" She said taking pace beside Morgy resting her hands behind her head again. She was still really excited about having Morgy back but after being up all night she was really starting to get tried. Always being hyper and happy was starting to get hard.
mistalina13 Destruction's touch shown worse here than it had back in the town. Morgan cringed, it was far worse here than the first she time she had come this way with Crispin. Hopefully Ser wouldn't dwell on it as much as she had then...it'd nearly made her ill. A little further down the street got them to the second portal. "Second verse same as the first." Such familiar words. She grinned and disapeared into the second portal.
Sierra_penman Ser wrapped a hand around Morgy's between the two portals. She didn't wan't to get lost in a place like this. Not once she had already found Morgy. She fallowed closly behind through the next portal. The fact that she was never going home still crept around in the back of her mind. The truth of matters always did come back to her when she got to tried to hold them off. Morgan's silence wasn't helping her much. Maybe Morgan though of Ser as only a bother. Well she would have to prove her wrong...Somehow. "Morgan do you like Tian Yue or do you like it here?"
mistalina13 Morgan didn't answer until they were on the other side of the portal. "This place isn't bad, it just takes getting used to...and I love Tian Yue, Ser, very much." And Crispin...and Shaiming too...even though they're gone. She squeezed her friends hand. "Doesn't mean I care about you or my family any less....the situation is just different now."
Sierra_penman She looked around again. "I'm so going to get lost Morgy. I have a hard time getting two streets over to your house..." She looked down at her feet. "I didn't mean that you don't care Morgy...Morgy are there more people then just you two here?" Maybe she could find something to fix her too. Morgan already seemed a lot happier then she used too. she smiled to her self. Maybe it would be easier to get her to dance know.
mistalina13 "I live in a temple, in my lo-Tian Yue's apartments. Lots of other gods live there too, but you won't see too many of them about often." Morgan kept her eyes on the path as they went along, choosing to take the road through the ruined town as it seemed the quickest way back to the 'Temple of Doom' as Ishum had put it.
Sierra_penman Ser looked around. This place was the worst of the lands they had walked through. But there was almost beuaty to the havoc that surrounded. You could almost feel power in the air. Ser kinda felt same just being in this place. "Morgan why do you live with gods? I mean don't they usually not like mortals all that much? "
mistalina13 "Most of them seem to now, they need followers to survive...otherwise they just eventually disapear." Morgan understood that much just from listening. She hadn't asked more about the Fading, as most didn't remember or it'd done some significant mental damage to them. Once they got to the end of town it opened up to a wider area, devoid of most everything, except for the large rather dark creepy looking temple a short distance off. But between them and it stood a decent walk and crossing the lava.
Sierra_penman Ser pulled out one end of her head phones popping it into her ear some tunes might just wake her up. She turned it back on the song what if god was one of us playing into her ear. She laughed to her self at the corny irony. "Think they'll mind another mortal running about. Your a lot less of a pest then me at lest. So how come the gods live in a place like this any how? They going to destroy the everything or something so they need and big evil lair? Though for the whole evil end of the world look this place is awesome."
mistalina13 "The Pantheon is like this because Destruction rules." They started on the path toward the Pantheon itself. Soon enough Ser would begin to notice the ash and smell from the lava that was almost like a moat around the building, thankfully Morgan had largely managed to learn to ignore it.
Sierra_penman "Smells like sulfur from science class. In a natural setting like that. Morgy the Pantheon in a volcano?" She looked out ahead of them and she could almost she a red river. A mote of lava how cool. "Well not many people can say they've been to a place like this. This is so cool." Ser was almost ecstatic it was just like they were on an adventure from the table top games Morgy had shown her.
mistalina13 "Nah...at least I don't think so." They crossed the path that lead to the main doors and she paused. "So, what do ya think?" Morgan grinned and clicked a tongue against her teeth, hopefully Destruction wasn't in the throne room, or it'd be a fun adventure to get upstairs.
Sierra_penman Ser smiled brightly giving her friend puppy dog eyes. "Think? Morgy this is awesome. You so need to show me everything!" She held a hand to her mouth as a small yawn escaped her lips. "Though I could really use a nap. I was out all night looking for you before i found the portal here. Not that i was really looking for it." She fallowed Morgan inside carefully taking in the whole scene. "Why don't you show me your room we can have a sleep over!"
mistalina13 Morgan put a finger to her lips. "Quiet, Ser, we don't need to draw any attention down here." Because it certain wasn't attention either of them would want. She led Ser to the spiral staircase that went to the upper level where the apartments were. The only question that remainded was how to explain this to Tian Yue and Toki.

Always, AlwaysDragonDancesJoint Roleplay 2
mistalina13 "You call these clothes?" Morgan sputtered, staring at the garments she had brought in the bathroom with her. "It's...practically all leather!?" Hm...you've never seen these before?"No!" Her cheeks reddened as she lifted up a piece of the garments, a dark leather bodice. They wouldn't be a gift from your dragon, would they?"No-I mean...I don't think so-" Put it all on then, you don't want to disapoint, regardless. As if a reminder of their chat before was needed this comment was punctuated with a mental swat.Kaulu weaved in an out through the remaining tangle of clothes. Despite Morgan's protests the serpent seemed to remain near at all times, something about Tien's insistence that she would grow used to the creature. The darn thing still gave Morgan the creeps. Morgan sniffed at the idea, but did as she was told, rather than risking sneaking back into her room and alerting Ser. She needed to talk to Tian Yue and Toki, preferably without interruption. The silk blouse felt odd against her skin and the leather bodice pinched uncomfortably in some places. The pants were certainly tighter than she liked and definitely showed far more of her curves than she was used to. Before donning the boots and elbow length fingerless, almost archery style, gloves Morgan picked up Kaulu and laid the serpent over her shoulders with a shudder. Oh stop it.With a small scowl she headed it out into the main area of the apartments in search of her lord and a certain rabbit aoide.
Sosiqui "And make sure she is treating him properly. I don't think she'll disobey a direct order from me, but... well." Tian Yue shook his head. He and Toki were standing in the front room, the Aoide laden with bag full of clothes - mostly Crispin's, that didn't fit any more. "Do you understand?"
Toki bowed. "Yes, my Lord - ah!" He turned around when the door opened, and his eyes widened. "L-lady Morgan?!"
Tian Yue turned as well, surprised by Toki's reaction, and instantly took on the exact same expression as his Aoide - surprise. Pleasant surprise.
mistalina13 "Who else were you expecting?" Morgan let out a dry laugh and pushed the door shut behind her, doing her best to forget how embaressed she was by her own appearance at the moment. You need more help than I thought, if you think so little of yourself. She rocked up on her toes to give Tian Yue a quick kiss on the cheek. "Can we talk...the three of us, if your not too busy I mean?" Her gaze flicked from Tian Yue to Toki. What's with all the clothes? An absent thought, while she waited for an answer.
Sosiqui "Of course... what's the occasion? I like your new look," Tian Yue added, with a grin and a hint of a blush.
Toki looked even more surprised. "M-me? You want to talk to me?"
mistalina13 "I found these in my room, Ser is likely to blame." Morgan frowned slightly and blushed. Her friend had hidden more of her clothes and it would likely take her some time to find them. "Well, it's about...who this is..." She tapped the spot on her arm, where Tian Yue would know the gem to be. "I got a name at least...and I need to know if either of you...know anything about her."
Sosiqui "You have? That's good... I've been really curious about that myself," Tian Yue admitted, gesturing to the couch and going to sit down on it himself. Toki followed, though he perched himself right on the edge of one of the armchairs and put the bag of clothes down at his feet before starting to fidget. His master had told him about Morgan's choosing, and the mere fact that she too now held a goddess made him even more nervous and formal around her.
"So which goddess has such good taste?" Tian Yue asked, giving Toki a look as his fussing made the chair creak obnoxiously beneath the Aoide's shifting weight.
mistalina13 "Park it...and relax Toki, for goodness sake." Morgan sighed and shot a glance toward the aoide. "I'm still your friend, regardless of what happened to me." Remember that, always. There was a little pleading look in her gaze, just before it drifted from him. Another little sigh and she moved to sit beside Tian Yue, gaze falling to the floor in front of them. "Tien, the Commedia Dell'Arte..." The volume of her voice dropped. "....Trickery."
Sosiqui Toki flinched at the rebuke, then looked down. "Apologies, my Lady."
Tian Yue, on the other hand, looked thoughtful... and relieved. "Trickery... that's not a bad domain to bear. I dare say it suits you - and that would explain being made to run a trap-filled dungeon... but no, that's not bad at all." It could have been so very much worse. "But I can't say offhand if I know her - or knew her. Perhaps so, but the name 'Tien' alone is half of my own domain's title, so it's hard to say." He made a face.
Toki shook his head. "I do not remember either, but perhaps in the hoard books..."
mistalina13 Morgan looked up, offering Toki a small smile. "Don't Toki...theres nothing to appologize for." She leaned over, resting against the dragon. "Dang...I was hoping one of you might know something at least. She doesn't seem to recall much...beyond her name." Her arm slid around his waist. "She said I had something to do with the dungeon bit..." Now it was her turn to make a face.
Sosiqui Tian Yue laughed and twined his tail lightly around her waist in return. "I'm sure you did. Your mind must be stuffed to the brim with fiendish dungeons, like the one you sprang on me last week." He grimaced again, but cheerfully this time. "Usually the host is well-suited in some way to the deity. They see the potential inside and use it... strengthening it for themselves. A strong soul is ambrosia."
It felt odd to talk about it that way, to put actual words to the nebulous thoughts that had bothered Shaiming so, in the jewel. Ceaseless searching.
Toki made the chair squeak again, and Tian Yue looked over at him. "Morgan, can I release poor Toki? I need him nice and strong to go deliver those clothes," he teased.
mistalina13 "You do have a point there...I just hope I don't do it again." Morgan laughed, a little nervous. She had some wicked dungeon plans floating around in her mind and had no desire to inflict them on herself. "Let him go." Her gaze flicked to the aoide. "Thanks for your help, Toki."
Sosiqui "Go on, then." Tian Yue looked over at Toki and nodded, and the Aoide sprang up, grabbed the bag of clothes, bowed so quickly that his bunny ears whacked him in the face - and was gone.
"I think your goddess makes him nervous. He wasn't always like that." Tian Yue sighed.
mistalina13 Morgan sighed. "I hope I don't loose a friend over this..." She cuddled closer to him, slipping a hand up and running it through his hair. "...or you." Another little sigh.
Sierra_penman Ser slowly opened the door at the end of the hall. Her nightgown hung gently to her body. She saw the person on the couch and moved over. "Excuse me have you seen Morgan?" She said as she rubbed her eyes again, still half asleep.
Sosiqui "A friend? Toki, no... he just needs time to get over it. He was exactly the same with Crispin at first..." Tian Yue smiled, then brushed Morgan's hair back lightly. "Me, never. Did you leave Crispin and Shaiming in such a case? I hope that your goddess will be a friend as well."
Then the Dragon King blinked as the door swung open and a girl in a nightgown stumbled in. "Uhm..." Tian Yue pointed at Morgan right next to him, surprised. "Would you like some coffee?" He raised one eyebrow at his lover in mute question.
mistalina13 Morgan had half sat up when she heard the door. "Ser..." A touch of worry entered her voice. Her best friend didn't know what was going to happen to her. "...I didn't wake you up when I left did I?" She swallowed hard and glanced at Tian Yue, unconsciously reaching for his hand.
Sierra_penman Ser smiled brightly when she noticed Morgan. "No thank you, I only drink teas." She said off hand to the stranger next to Morgan. She came around and sat down were toki had been just moments before. "Not fully Morgy, but i thought you might want to practice with me this morning so i came to find you." She noticed Morgan reaching for the others hand. She pointed at the guy and said "Oh you must be the boyfriend. Morgy you should have let me do your hair..." She said with a pout.
Sosiqui "The boyfriend?" Tian Yue was taken aback, then laughed. "I suppose I am." How odd, to have such a... mortal term applied. There was a time when part of me would have loved to be called that, and now it's just... strange. "I am Tian Yue, the Dragon King Tien Lung... and you are Morgan's friend?"
Awwwwwwkward.
mistalina13 Morgan's cheeks flushed a deep pink. "It was the easiest way to explain us, love." She murmured and gave his hand a gentle squeeze. "This is Ser, the friend I told you about before. She came looking for me and ended up here too."
Sierra_penman Ser giggled. "Aww Morgy hes cute...." She smiled watch Morgy blush. It was nice to see her friend so happy. "Uh..." She though for a second. "Your a Dragon King? Morgy said you were a god? So which are you, and whats a Dragon King?"
Sosiqui Tian Yue blushed a bit too, then straightened and nodded at Ser. "A Dragon King is what I am. There are nine of us - nine dragon-gods, chosen by the Twin Crown himself as his chosen court and closest confidants. I am Tien Lung, the Celestial King - my title is Worldshield. I protect the mortal realms from the power of the gods, and guard the palaces of the Pantheon."
He hesitated. "Or... I will be able to, when I regain my power. Right now I can only shield a small area."
mistalina13 "See, Ser, I wasn't kidding." Morgan leaned against Tian Yue again slightly, whispering in his ear. "Simpler explainations are best, sometimes, with Ser." She nuzzled his cheek, to cover her real reason for being close and leaned back. She was intent on avoiding dance practice for as long as possible, especially since Tian Yue was present, there were enough dents in her dignity as is.
Sierra_penman "Huh??" She tilted her head trying to understand the explanation. "So you would be like an angel? Made to order by the main god but not quite a god; but still get god like power and all that?" She shook her head she felt kinda bad but she hoped she could pick up more about this place she would have to start somewhere. She giggled as Morgan Snuggled closer to Tian Yue. " L'alurl faerbol zhah mrann d'ssinss huh morgy?" See asked in drow not even noticing that she used a dnd saying with out translating it. The best magic item is a male lover <-- translation
Sosiqui "No - we are gods," Tian Yue said, firmly, and his tail twitched a little where it lay around Morgan's waist. "The angels were servants; we call them Aoidei, and they come in many forms."
One ear flicked lightly at the language; he remembered the saying, vaguely. "Magic item, eh? Is that all I am to you?" he asked Morgan, with mock-pout and a wink."
mistalina13 "Korishi tir l' Ilythiiri, Ser." [Knock off the Drow, Ser.] Morgan grumbled, Drow was rough on her voice and it felt odd since she hadn't spoken it in so long. "Hardly, my dear Dragon." She rested her head against his shoulder and let her fingers run lightly over the scales on his tail.
Sierra_penman Ser was taken aback by the firmness Tian Yue's voice. She hadn't meant to offend him, she was just trying to understand. She rolled her as a Morgan scolded her for speaking in Drow. "So Morgy did you feel up to practice? I know you've been busy and probably haven't practiced at all since you came here...but I really miss dancing with you Morgy!" Ser said giving Morgy a puppy dog look, and hopping that changing the topic would keep Tian Yue from getting annoyed with her.
Sosiqui "Dancing?" Tian Yue looked surprised. "You never told me you liked dancing... though it's true I wasn't any good at it..." He had to pause for a moment, to think. Was he any good at it now, now that he was a Dragon King?
Probably not. Worldshield, not Dancer.
mistalina13 Morgan's face flushed deeply. "Yes, ballet." Her gaze skittered away from him quickly. "...I learned some when I was little and I still practice once in a while. It's actually how I met Ser...." She swallowed uneasily, hopefully he wouldn't think it terribly odd.
Sierra_penman Ser looked at Morgan and giggled. "Morgy it's nothing to be ashamed of, your really good." She looked over to to Tian Yue but was unable to read any thing from him so her gaze returned to Morgan. "Though you did transfer out eventually... you were still one of the best in the class."
Sosiqui "What kind of dancing?" Tian Yue poked Morgan, playfully. "I'm not really familiar with the different kinds... the dragon is rusty, and the human never knew." He made a face.
Then he looked over at Ser with a grin. "So how do you encourage her to dance? You've known her longer than I have - got any tips?"
mistalina13 "I took ballet when I was little." Morgan grimaced slightly. "Ser lynching me into practicing is really the only reason I practice anymore at all..." Not the entire truth, but it was truth enough for the moment. "...and yes before you ask, I do still have a leotard and toe shoes." She rolled her eyes, cheeks flushing a deeper red. Is this his way of asking me to dance for him!?
Sierra_penman Ser shrugged to the Tian Yue question. "You wait till the bugging makes her give in." Ser Smiled brightly. "You can get Morgy to do anything if you ask enough and give her big eyes." Ser though for a moment. "How to explain ballet...well..its graceful, flowing, precise movements; and its ethereal qualities make it a pure expression of the dancers feelings. You can express love or hate or sadness or even longing." She stoped to take a breath after the explanation. "It really hard at first because a lot of it is pre-written as a kinda play. So unless you can get into character your emotions will interfere too much. Morgy was always good at taking on the characters compared to me." She said putting a mock sad face. "But i guess it comes naturally to a roleplayer. Other then that it's a free for all for moves. And a leotard is a form fitting dress that shows off all you curves. Right Morgy?" Ser said beaming wondering if Morgan Could get any redder.
Sosiqui "It sounds like something you're passionate about," Tian Yue replied, looking curious. "I know a very little bit about ballet... but not much, only the basics. I don't think Crispin ever saw ballet besides a videotape of the Nutcracker at Christmas..."
He chuckled at Morgan's blush. "I won't bug you, don't worry. If it was something simpler I might have tried to dance with you, but... can you see these claws and tights being in the same room without catastrophe?"
mistalina13 "If you were willing to put on slimmer fitting pants, that'd work well enough and I could teach you a little..." Morgan spoke before thinking the words through, only managing an awkward smile after she realised what she'd said. That was putting the noose around her neck so to speak. Maybe, with luck he wouldn't be interested.
Sierra_penman Ser nodded happily at Tian Yue. "Ya there are lots of dances. Plus you look strong if your really worried just pick her up and hold her really close and sway to the music." Ser said with a giggle as she pictured the scene.
Sosiqui "Perhaps... but I think I'd like to show Ser how dragons dance." Tian Yue grinned and got up, his tail waggling a little bit. "But for modesty's sake, I think I'll go in the other room. Don't be worried when I return." He nodded, then winked at Morgan and headed into his chamber, pulling the curtain across the doorway before taking off his robes. Willy-nilly transformation might be more fun, but Toki would have a fit if he ruined too many more outfits.
mistalina13 Morgan's gaze followed him as he got up off the couch and she grinned. He wants to go flying again. She shifted on the couch, turning so she could more easily see his door. "He'll be back in a couple of minutes." She absently twisted a lock of hair around her finger.
Sierra_penman Ser got up. "If were going to dance I want to get dressed" Ser ran down the hall to Thier room and shut the door pulling on her black and red kimono. She pulled her hair to one side and warped it in a bun carefully lacing her lucky ribbon though. She flicked the lose strand that fell down behind her shoulder and ran back to Morgy, sitting down beside her. She wrapped her arms around Morgys shoulders in a clinging hug. "This will be so much fun! Does he do the dragon dance like they have in china?"
Sosiqui "In a sense," Tian Yue rumbled, from the doorway. The dragon, now in his true form, nudged the curtain open with his muzzle and looked at the girls with amusement. "Come in here - I've opened the skyway. And don't be worried, Ser, it's only me."
mistalina13 Morgan wrenched herself free from Ser and walked back toward the Dragon. "Feel better like that, love?" She smiled, then kissed and caressed his muzzle. "Are we going flying again?" This was whispered so Ser wouldn't hear.
Sierra_penman "You can turn into a dragon" Ser squealed as she ran over after Morgan. She stared at the dragon taking in the sight, still almost in a state of awe from seeing a real dragon. "Can all the gods do this? And what's a Skyway?"
Sosiqui Tian Yue chuffed contentedly at Morgan and rubbed into the caress, almost catlike, before turning to answer Ser's questions. "Only the Dragon Kings - it is what we are, after all," he rumbled, amused. "The skyway is the great window." He stepped back into the room and tilted his head back to indicate the huge opening over the bed, the glass panes opening outward to leave a wide, clear space for him to fly through.
Then he turned, his fanned tail waving back and forth. "Come - mount my back. Never ride a Dragon King without their consent, though. It's dangerous."
mistalina13 Morgan glanced back at her friend and giggling. "Never forget your gaping at my lover." She teased her friend lightly before approaching Tian Yue again. "You'll have to crouch a little; Ser is shorter than I am." I recall his sillouette in the sky...long...long...ago...For a moment her focus drifted inward as she mused over the fragmented images Tien offered.
Sierra_penman Ser was all most jumping up and down. "Really were going flying....I just you can dance in the sky..by flying..." she looked for a second. "We wont fall right?" she said poking Morgan who seemed a little bit off. "Morgy are you okey?" she asked in concern. "What are you thinking about?"
Sosiqui "No, you won't fall - just hold on." Tian Yue crouched down and waited for them to seat themselves, the tip of his tail twitching back and forth.
mistalina13 "Nothing..Nothing...Ser." Morgan snapped back to the outer world and kissed Tian Yue's muzzle again before climbing onto his back and settling comfortably while trying to ignore the temptation to slip away from reality again.
Sierra_penman Ser climbed on behind Morgan holding onto her shoulders. "Well if your sure Morgy.." she said skeptically. "This must be really nice at night with all the stars. You would be really close. It would be so beautiful."
Sosiqui "Close, indeed..." Tian Yue chuckled low. She had no idea how close he could get... but not with them on his back. Perhaps someday.
He shrugged his shoulders and shifted a bit to make sure his riders were settled well, then lifted his head and scented the air that tumbled down from outside through the opening. Ash and lava, but today there was distant green from that forest... yes, they'd go over the forest, the one that stayed green. Under the protection of a god, he could tell.
"Hold on... shout if you feel unsafe," he told them, then crouched and sprang lightly into the air, his body undulating lightly under them as he flew, the Pantheon falling away quickly beneath them.
mistalina13 Morgan laughed aloud until she felt Ser's grip tighten on her. "It's alright Ser!" She glanced back at her friend for a moment, hoping she was alright before looking ahead again.
Sierra_penman Ser griped tighter to Morgans shoulders and ducked her head in unwilling to look back to see how high they had climbed in a few seconds. "I'm alright....just not use to this form of dance!." Ser called out hoping the wind wouldn't take her words away before reaching Morgan.
Sosiqui "I cannot show you how dragons truly dance - you would fall off in an instant," Tian Yue rumbled as he flew, arrowing away from the shop and towards the smudge of green that marked the god-guarded forest. "But I can show you that there are others holding sway. Other powers rising... look, ahead. Smell the air."
Indeed, a soft wind was bringing the scent of green leaves, and it seemed to him that he felt the touch of divinity in the breeze as well. Wind was reborn, he recalled; perhaps it was her blessing.
mistalina13 "It's nice to see something in this world more alive...after all this time." Morgan was actually more relaxed now than she'd been in days, despite the fact that her friend was likely causing large dark bruises on her shoulders. "How far are we going, love?"
Sosiqui ((timeskip, yar)) Tian Yue waited in the outer chamber as Morgan took her friend back to where she was staying - with some relief. The girl was nice enough, but there was something about her that was exhausting.
Hermit. Dangerous. There was a flicker of old memory. Tien Lung, busy, entangled, work without rest, dry and dull... and then came the touch of star-marked skin, and a mutual teaching. He shook his head and refocused, then let the dragon-form slip away. It was always easier to be Tien Lung, to catch those ancient thoughts, in that shape.
The world wavered as dragon melted down into human. He sighed and headed for his bedroom to pick up a robe. If only transformations in real life worked the way they did on television...
mistalina13 Morgan returned from her room, dressed in far more comfortable attire, having managed to find something Ser had not hidden. She paused at the door to his bedroom, "You alright... love?" She swallowed and tried to hide the hesitation that creeped into her voice when she said that word. He had seemed uneasy around her, especially when they were alone since finding out that she had become a host.
Sosiqui "Mmm? Oh, I'm fine," Tian Yue assured her, quickly tying the sash of his bathrobe around his waist. "It was... nice... to meet your friend."
mistalina13 "Tiring too...I'm sure." Morgan smiled faintly and fiddled with her bangs. "She's good at that." She wasn't even sure if she should just go in. It was an odd feeling, seeming like a stranger after they spent so much time together. Her arms crossed across her chest and she leaned against the doorframe.
Sosiqui "Ah... a little bit, I guess." Tian Yue looked sheepish. "I hope I didn't scare her. I admit I was showing off a bit, and it's much easier to be wild in dragon-shape."
He took a few steps back from the door and gave her a quizzical look. "Come in...?"
mistalina13 "Nah...just the heights scared her a bit." Another weak smile before she righted herself, stepped into the room and went to his side. Morgan did her best to shove the odd feelings aside as she hugged him.
Sosiqui Tian Yue returned the embrace, his tail curling lightly to rest along the back of her legs. "And what about you? I didn't scare you, did I?"
mistalina13 "No." Morgan buried her face against his chest and he tightened her grip on him slightly when she felt the familiar touch of scales against her legs. The only thing I'm afraid of anymore, is loosing myself.A wise thing to be afraid of...She closed her eyes and tried to shut out Tien's voice, just for a little while. "You'd have a hard time trying to scare me, love..."
Sosiqui "Grrrr, I'm a scary dragon," Tian Yue replied, then laughed. "You are brave. Perhaps that's why Tien chose you. I am glad to know her name, even if we didn't get a chance to talk about it much before your friend came in."
mistalina13 Morgan drew back and looked up at him. "Imposing maybe, but not scary." She smiled, then bit her lower lip for a moment. "Yeah, well, that's pretty well all I know about her too."
Sosiqui "When Crispin received Shaiming's jewel... he, I, we were going to save the world. It doesn't seem very well saved to me yet, though." Tian Yue shook his head and glanced out the moon-shaped window at the blasted ash and lava. He had never seen the gardens in any other form. They must have been beautiful, before. "All the omniscience, omnipotence, omnipresence that mortals expect out of gods nowadays... I'm not sure any of us have it, save perhaps our Lord. It's a tall order. And now you're invited to the party too..."
mistalina13 "Personally, part of me would've prefered remaining myself. It's nothing against the divine, but the thought of disapearing scares me." Her gaze skiddered away from his face. "Besides, I won't be able to be here with you, anymore." Morgan sighed and tried to fight off the melacholy feelings that caught up to her. "I believe you can save the world, Tian Yue. You already saved mine."
Sosiqui "I... I understand. Crispin was scared too..." His voice trailed off. Anything he could say right now would sound hypocritical, even to himself. He had to support the rebirth of the gods, as a god himself, but as Morgan's lover...
"I love you," he said, finally. "Whatever happens. Just as you still love me even as I've changed and become someone different from who I was before..."
mistalina13 "I love you too. But, if Tien chooses to destroy me, don't forget to move on, to be happy." She reached up and brushed his bangs away from his eyes. "Promise me that much?"
Sosiqui Tian Yue looked away. "I shall try. But I will miss you terribly."
He left unspoken the thought that he was effectively immortal now, barring a second Fading - even a small slice the vast span of time that lay ahead of him would heal such a wound, surely. It was logical. He didn't want to listen to it, but there it was.
Harder will be to not be resentful to Tien - I wonder, would Morgan have been angry at Shaiming had he chosen differently?
mistalina13 Morgan's facade of happiness fell when he looked away from her. A lie, then. He was a god afterall, she was easily replaceable. At least it was a sweet lie. She rested her head against his chest again. Her voice had deserted her, but it was just as well, there was nothing else she could say.
Sosiqui He brushed lightly at her hair, breathed in the scent - how strange, to have that scent attached to someone who was not her... how would he be able to bear it? It would be so hard.
Damn logic. I don't want logic - I want her -
Something dripped onto her forehead, and he realized with a start that he was crying. "How did you bear it?" he whispered, trying not to let his voice crack. "Knowing that Crispin would be gone and with nothing you could do? How were you so strong?" Can I be that strong? I must be. I have no choice.
mistalina13 Everyone has to die sometime, even the gods."I trusted Shaiming to make the choice he thought was right. It's all I could do." Morgan rocked up onto her toes and kissed the tears away from his cheeks. "I spent many nights in tears, but I always managed to put a smile on for yo-Crispin. He was very brave and I did not want him to regret the choice he made just because of me." You are not him and sometimes it hurts to realise that; but it doesn't mean I love you any less. She was in tears too. "You are brave too and strong. Never ever loose that."
Sosiqui "I'm not angry at the goddess you bear... Tien... I hope she does well by you. And that you can do well by her... whatever happens..."
He shook his head. "I can't find any more words. Stupid." His tail twined again around her legs, holding her close.
mistalina13 "Let's just go lay down then...it's been a long time since we've done that. Just fall asleep in each other's arms..." She smiled softly and kissed him. Right now she just wanted to enjoy his warmth and company as long as she could.
Sosiqui Tian Yue smiled, and he shifted his embrace just enough to free one hand to wipe the tear tracks off of his cheeks. "Yes... let's."

Alone in the woods after years alone...people are scary. solo 1
How long had I wandered around now. I know years have passed. When I look at myself, I know I’ve been changing. It’s been so nice so quite all alone here. “For a time at least.” How long did I let pass by here before really waking up. I knew it was wrong to stay away for so long. Yet by the time, I decided I should go back I had no idea where I was or how to go back. It had been a least a few months since I started to try finding my way back. Nothing looked like that desolate empty place. Nothing smelled like sulfur anymore.
I should have gone up to the last one I saw. Why do I run away every time I see someone now? I shook than froze and than my mind would go blank and I’d be running. I don't want to stay alone forever. I told myself again. I pulled lose the bow I had tied around my neck as I had fiddled with my ribbon. “I need to be more aware of what I’m doing.” My hands where back tying different knots in the ribbon even before I finished chiding myself again. What had dragged me out that night; I don't even remember. I had just found Morgy I should have wanted to stay there but I left. She found a new life and I selfishly followed her. Morgy was the only one who put up with me. Then I left. Why did I leave? I know I should go back. “But I don't really want to.” I should... “I know I should.” But how do I go back? I have no idea where I am I could be traveling even farther from that pantheon thing. It had been next to a volcano...I think. Here was green and lush, lively bright. “I miss the lair.” My hands moved quickly tying the ribbon off around my neck out of the way. I need a distraction more than just fidgeting. I grabbed my brother’s knife and the piece of wood from my bag. I looked at the knife for a second. He must be happy now, without me. He’s free; I hope he didn’t look to long. At least Morgy sent a letter home. I pulled the knife out. Switch, switch, switch. I started mechanically to carve into the wood. I never thought about what I wanted to make. I just watched my hands moving. It was odd to be so still. I never was around people. I was always too aware of my own presence than. It was so free to be alone. I should want to go back. “I know...”
I had stayed in this location for the last week or so there were many people here. More than any other place, I had been able to find. They almost had a real town. The building near it looked important. It has to belong to a god right? Just like, how people at how build cathedrals to god back home. Maybe one would even live here. It’s not so far feched; you met one god there were others and this is their realm. If this was the same realm, you didn’t notice coming here. And if a god was there, they might know how to get back to the other place. What was that god’s name...umm umm I don’t know but that place, the pantheon, that was an important place for gods. There could be more than one. “Not helping.” I steadied my hands shaking my head. “Not helping at all.”
We need to get closer to the building we need to look for the god living there. But I can’t even get close the town. How would I have done it before? I was just as flustered then. I put the wood and knife down standing up. I put my hands behind my head and puffed out my chest laughing into the sky. Just like that, I’d bury all the worries. If I could just break this wall, break past hearing myself all the time. Yeah. Once you’re with someone than it all goes away. It wasn’t that easy to silence yourself you know. It was tiring to. That’s probably why I had gone so deep into a daze when I wandered off. I slapped my hand to my checks hard. “Stop thinking about it.” You can do this. You have to do this. I shove the knife back into the case and shoved it and the wood back into my bag.
I pulled out my toe shoes. “This is how we learned to do it.” I kicked off my running shoes and slipped my toe shoes on I started to lace them tightly to my leg. Concentrate on each movement. Stay here. Now. Don’t wander. I tied of the last knot, and lifted myself up easily. I took pose one than two, on and on. One good thing had been all the time I had to practice. My mp3 player still worked; that solar powered charger bother always carried had at least kept that much going. Nevertheless, I knew the music knew my drills. I could lose myself like before doing this only this. Everything became lighter. I could hear the music in my head it stilled everything else. I heard myself sigh in relief. This was better this was simple.
I danced until I couldn’t anymore. “I’ll dance tomorrow sp I can capture how I fell right now.” Once I dance, i will go to that building and find the god who lives there even if I have to knock on every door. Then i'll keep asking and give my best puppy dog eyes until he tells me where that pantheon this is and how to get there. “I have to go back no matter what. I want to go back.” I climbed back up into the tree where I had been sleeping in the past few nights and laid down to rest. In the morning I’ll go into the building, I finally fell ready. Though one more dance in the morning just to make sure. “Just one more.”

Wait...Aren't You?I found youJoint Roleplay 3
mistalina13 Tien ended up in the Tian Yue's rooms after a rather disappointing morning of people watching in the market. It was clear enough he needed the distraction from being the 'Dragon King of Paperwork' so she offered him company for a while. It was turning out to be a pleasant afternoon for the Trickster after the change of scenery and in company.
She sat on a couch, leaning against the arm with her chin resting on a hand and legs tucked up beside her. As always in his presence her mask was gone, tucked away somewhere safe. The same safe place her daggers rested, no doubt.
"Really?" She laughed and shook her head over something the Dragon King said. "You can't be serious..." Sosiqui "Oh, yes, an entire elephant. Don't ask me where he found a firepit big enough to roast it. After that, I told him I would take my meals in human shape, thank you very much - much less draining on our resources." Tian Yue shook his head with a wry grin. Toki always meant well, but sometimes he went a little too far...
"Though one might make a nice feast-gift for my brothers and sister. Like a Thanksgiving dinner." That bit was plucked fully from host-memory, but he figured Tien would understand the reference. shawn_penman I managed to do it I was in the building. Now I just had to find someone in the giant place. It seemed I had been knocking on doors all day. It’s only been like an hour. "That doesn't make it fun" It was suppose to be fun? "Hush” I fixed my bag on my shoulders. I continued down the hall. I stopped touching the next door. It looked almost familiar. I knocked out the tune of jeopardy none stop on the door. Just like the others door I’d give up eventually but one has to be persistent at first. You’re just going to annoy them this way. “I said hush! Mr. God person I know your probably really busy but I need your help another God and his girlfriend Morgan!” I called at the solid door just to keep the inner voice silent. mistalina13 "That it certainly would." She certainly wouldn't argue that Toki was a bit overzealous at times.
Tien's gaze flicked to the door when she heard the knocking. It took a moment to recognize that it was being done in tune, sort of, and that it seemed familiar. How odd... "I wonder who that could be." Then she heard the voice, granted it was muffled by the heavy door but...she had to be dreaming. There was no way! Surely it couldn't be her after all this time...
Clearly the goddess was very confused.
Sosiqui Tian Yue stilled at the sudden rhythmic pounding. His look of confusion only deepened at the words shouted through the door. "... Morgan?" he asked, looking to Tien and raising one eyebrow. "I, er, think it might be for you. Possibly. Do you want to go look?"Xing Yun had appeared, and was waiting by the door, watching both gods, not moving to open the door quite yet. "By your hand or command, Lady Trickery," the Aoide said, bowing. ((aka... Tien can get up and open the door herself if she wants, or tell Xing Yun to XD)) mistalina13 "I...I'll get it." Tien slid off the couch and moved to the door, still trying to tell herself she must be dreaming. It had been years with no sign and so many deaths among mortals during the Weeks she didn't dare hope. Still, when Trickery opened the door the person on the other side was someone she never expected to see again.
Her appearance shifted unconsciously, leaving her looking quite a bit like her former host. "Ser..." The name was whispered just before the goddess collapsed in an unceremonious heap on the floor.((Breaking post order a touch because Shawn said to and, yes, she did faint.)) shawn_penman Ser almost hit the person as the door opened; but she was genially surprised to see Morgan on the other side. She beamed almost ready to jump at her but when she did there was nothing to grab. She looked down at her feet finding Morgan now sleeping on the floor. “Well that is not a very happy greeting.” She said poking Morgan in the side. Kneeling down she slipped her packsack off and undid the clasp releasing a very angry cat. She grabbed the flailing beast before it could run away. Holding to cat out to Morgan’s face, “Look who I found Morgy,” Ser chanted. “Time to rise and shine and tell us where we are” Sosiqui Tian Yue blinked as Tien slumped, and the visitor produced a... a cat? That was not what the Dragon King had been expecting. At all.
... And the newcomer was calling Tien Morgy. Oh dear. This was going to be complicated, wasn't it? With an internal sigh, Tian Yue walked over to the doorway, nodding once at Xing Yun - the Aoide looked perplexed, but nodded back and stayed nearby, just in case she was needed.
"You are in the Pantheon, and I'm sure she'll be awake in a moment, and you should probably not swing an angry cat too close to anyone's face, god or not," he said, firmly. The visitor seemed vaguely familiar, but he couldn't quite place either that whispered name or her face. shawn_penman Ser stopped forcing the cat to play patty cake with Tien’s face, looking up at the stranger. “Morgy’s no god Mister and this can’t be the pantheon it’s smells like science class.” She little the cat go as it nuzzled up to Tien’s side. Ser stood up and bowed deeply at the waist towards the strange man. She stood staring at the man with a big smile on her face plastered on her face. “Morgy’s boyfriend is a god though and if you brought her here against her will he’ll be really mad at you. I only got to meet him once but they looked really close to each other. “ Ser looked down at Morgy still asleep on the ground. She might have hit her head! She flicked her head to one side making a sour face for a second. Fine! But what if... Ser closed her eyes shaking her head quickly before smiling up at the two inside the room again. She stepped over Tien to put herself between Morgan and the two strangers in a defensive manner. She reached out a hand to the man who had spoken to her. Her other hand clutching the bow that hung over her shoulder. “My name is Ser. It’s only proper manners to introduce yourself now isn’t it.” mistalina13 Thankfully unaware of what was going on above her Tien began to stir, grumbling quietly. "No..Ser...its six am...too early for dance class." She whined softly, shook her head and swatted away imaginary hands. The irked feline was momentarily distracted by the waving hands and pounced on the goddess' chest. "No...Domino...I'll feed you later."
Wait...no...this isn't right...not anymore.
Her eyes fluttered open after a few more moments, part of her was hoping she would wake up in her bed and this had all been a very weird dream. Apparently such was not the case as she was face to face with a somewhat irate feline that looked an awful lot like her host-self's cat. Domino?.....“My name is Ser. It’s only proper manners to introduce yourself now isn’t it.” Trickery glanced up and sure enough an older Ser was standing there, hand poised to draw her bow. She reached out, tapping her friend on the leg to get her attention. "No need to get defensive, Ser. I will explain as best I can, but it is a long story." Her gaze drifted to Tian Yue after, hoping her expression was enough to convey that patience would be important here. Sosiqui Tian Yue took the offered hand and shook it, bemused - and then, at the mention of boyfriends... well. A few things suddenly clicked into place, intensified by Tien's murmurings. So fond, so... so her, that it made a faint pang stir in the Dragon King's heart. Which was just ridiculous, really.
"I am Tian Yue - we've met, then," he said, releasing her hand. "And I suppose I would be - have been - the, er, 'boyfriend' you speak of..." By the Twin Crown himself, it was a long story. And he wasn't sure how best to tell it. He looked helplessly at Tien. shawn_penman Ser claimed down dramatically at the sound of Morgan’s voice. Mostly forgetting her intent to protect her as Tien tapped her leg. “Oh...aright then, if you say so Morgy.” She looked back at the Tian Yue; still griping his hand. Looking at him quite bemused as he stuttered over the calling himself boyfriend. “I get it know” ser said as she clasped her other hand on top of their hand shake beaming at him. “So so sorry. I did realize.” She said shaking her head laughing softly. “I should have known its husband now” mistalina13 Tien's eyes went wide. Did she just say.... "Oh..Ser...its not..." Her voice just sort of died off. Really, it was Ser she should have expected something like this! Sosiqui "No! No, it isn't - Tien is my friend. That's all," he said, wincing inwardly. He knew how Tien felt, and they'd had that conversation, but it probably wasn't too pleasant to hear anyway. "And, er, of course you wouldn't recognize, I've changed a great deal since the last time," he added, awkwardly. shawn_penman Ser let her head fall to one side resting her shoulder. “Tien? What does your friend Tien have to do with you and Morgy?” Ser eye closed and her brow furrowed as she tried to process everything. While not letting the nagging thoughts in her mind get to her. Her hands released Tian Yue’s and the mask of concentration was gone. She spun around and knelt down to be closer to Morgan’s level. “First do you want help up? Second translate please.” mistalina13 Tian Yue's comment stung far more than she would care to admit, but she did her best not to let it show. The guise faded away and she got to her feet on her own, cradling Domino in her arms. "That's the thing Ser, I am Morgan." She knew it would be difficult to understand, let alone accept. "Like I said its a long...complicated story. Why don't we all sit down, then Tian Yue and I can explain."
She glanced up at Tian Yue and smiled half heartedly. "That is if he doesn't mind helping." Sosiqui "Come in," Tian Yue said, simply, gesturing for Xing Yun to go ahead and prepare the room for guests. She nodded and ducked back into the living area, straightening the papers and making everything presentable in one fell swoop of efficiency. shawn_penman Ser stood up again as Tien stood up. Ser backed off a step knocking her abandoned bag as Tien shifted back to normal. Not Morgan! Cat likes her has to be Morgan. She forced a smile on to her face as the two strangers stood in front of her. She grabbed her bag holding onto so her hands had something to fidget with. “I’ll do my best to listen. But who is Tien?” Morgan Is. Probably. She stepped further into the room as Tian Yue offered. Ser looked tense. Stepping closer to Tien she smiled brighter but keeping a small amount of distance she normally wouldn’t from Morgan. A little unsure of the situation with Morgan’s sudden change. mistalina13 "I am." The distance didn't go unnoticed but she chose not to mention it and made her way back to the couch. The goddess resettled herself with Domino in her lap. The cat seemed considerably calmer than he had been, no doubt glad to be out of the backpack and with someone more familiar. She scratched him between the ears, wondering just where to begin with all this.
"Do you remember the last time you saw me, when I seemed hesitant and unsure...like I was hiding something?" Tien thought her host-self had done well, but Ser was always more observant than most gave her credit for. She lifted a hand up to touch the side of her face, feeling for a mask, her usual security that wasn't there. She felt oddly vulnerable admitting all of this.
"Well, I was hiding something, because I couldn't explain what was going to happen. I didn't even really know what was going to happen." Sosiqui Tian Yue settled himself on the chair by his desk, watching the two women, goddess and mortal, in silence. If needed he would interject, but for the most part this was between them. shawn_penman "Yeah i remember" Ser sat down on the ground across from Tien not really feeling comfortable indoors again yet. She rested her check on hand as it fiddled with her hair. "But I thought it had to do with...” Ser’s eyes flicked over the Tian yue. “Private matters of self discovery. How did you end up God? I mean you were mortal right?” mistalina13 If only it had been that simple. "Yes, I was...and I still am, kind of." Trickery pushed the sleeve of her blouse up high enough to expose the tiger's eye gem embedded in her arm. The scratches left by Destruction had healed since then but scars remained marking where they had been. "As to how...I got the gem a few weeks before I found you. It wasn't exactly my choice." She still wished her host-self had not appeared so foolish to the Twin Crown, but it was past and nothing could be done about it. shawn_penman Ser twitched as she saw the scars on Tien’s arm. I don’t think you can take who ever did that! I know. She bit her lip and swallowed hard not liking the thought of her friend being hurt. She was still for a moment while she was thinking. The cat likes her and she took Morgan’s form, but she’s not going out with Tian yue anymore and she changed her name. Ser jumped up and shook her head messing her hair with both hands. “Did Morgy become Tien? Or are you a stranger who replaced my friend?" mistalina13 "Those questions are more complicated than you think, but the answer is both and neither are correct." Infinitely unhelpful, and could be considered evasive, but it was true nonetheless. She was both Morgan and Tien, but not the friend Ser knew or the Tien of old. It was some sort of odd middle ground and it had taken her long enough to figure that much out.
She pushed her sleeve back down and glanced over at Tian Yue, wondering what he might make of her answer. No doubt he would have an easier time comprehending it than her friend would. Whether he would comment on it was another matter entirely. Sosiqui "We are both a blend of our mortal selves - our hosts - and the gods in the gems those hosts bore," Tian Yue interjected, gently. The concept was more than familiar to him, though when he was newly reborn it would have felt strange in his mind. Now, though, himself-Crispin and himself-Shaiming had truly become one, neither mortal exalted nor ancient and weary god. "Morgan as she was knew that this would happen, and she... welcomed it."
He glanced at Tien as he spoke, hoping that was not overstepping his boundaries. shawn_penman “So Morgy’s still Morgy; only with additions.” Ser nodded. That explained most of it her enough; in her mind at least. She stood up walking over to Morgy sitting beside her on the couch wrapping her friend in a hug. “I missed you....” she paused for a second. “Can I still call you Morgy or is that rude? mistalina13 She smiled at Tian Yue and laid an arm over Ser's shoulders, hugging her in return. Thank you. Her friend probably would not have understood if he hadn't spoken up. "I missed you too, Ser...and you can, if you like." In a way the name still fit and yet not at the same time. She considered it to be one of her (possibly too many) names regardless.

Little RoomDreaming of sleepSolo Rolepaly
I rolled over to my other side and pulled the blanket up to me face snuggling in more. In my restlessness the small noises carrying over from the other side of the room were starting to wake me up. Letting out a small sigh still feeling very sleepy I sat up. I rubbed my eyes still listing to the little noises. It was about this time I released no one else should be in my room.
I was fully awake now and looked over to the cause of the noise. There was an older man just sitting there, hunched over a desk with his back to me. “Old timer I think you’re in the wrong room, probably wrong house. How did you get here?”
The man sat up a little more but otherwise paid me no attention. “Hey. Who are you?” I called over to him again as I tossed my legs over the side of the bed.
Be quite I’m working. Was all he said before going right back to ignoring me.
You’re going to ignore me after waking me up in my own room? I stood up and moved quickly over his shoulder looking at what he was working on. It didn’t look like anything just a mess of odds and ends that he was trying to piece together. “What are you working on?”
He jumped. Gotcha! Whatever he had been working on scattered over the desk.
He looked up over his shoulder a grimace on his face. Seems I’m taking a break. It is not comfortable to work with someone over your shoulder.
I beamed a smile down to him. “I do, but it’s rude to just ignore someone after waking them up.” Mission accomplished a backed away a little from him. “Why are you in my room anyways?”
I’m sorry I disturbed your sleep. But haven’t you noticed. This isn’t your room exactly. He reached out sweeping his arm to motion to the room. It was like watching someone move in slow motion. The motioned seemed jarring like he wasn’t used to big motions if he was used to any.
I spun around quickly taking in the room. “New question.”
He sighed interaction taking a toll on him already. What is it?
“Why am I not in my room?” I said as a came full circle looking at him again smiling softly.
He closed his eyes and rubbed his chin. You’re in a dream would be the easiest way to explain where you are.
“I see. So who are you?” I backed off to the bed sitting back down, my hands shifting to play with the loose ends of one of the braids.
He taped his chest in the same place the gem in me now laid. You can call me Tinker Tanner.
I touched the gem instinctively. “You’re the God then Tanner?”
The God of Lost Things and my name is Tinker Tanner.
“Be happy I’m not calling you Tink.” I snipped at him. Yeah snap at the god who’s going to take over your soul. I yawned it was getting hard to keep my eyes open anymore.
Do not worry about it. I know you’re tired. He slowly stood from his chair. I’ve taken up quite a bit of space in your mind quickly. It’s hard for you to maintain me so fully so soon. Our connection is still weak. But when I started to take the place of your inner voices it was you who pulled me in. He started to make his way over to me. For a god he didn’t dress very fancy it looked like old worn work clothing that were fraying , covered in patches and were still full of holes.
“Well that explains why it’s been so quite. Thank You” He was standing over me now. He was larger then I thought. He looked so small in the chair. “It’s like looking in an old memory.”
Well this body is an image I took from your memories. I’ll I remember is this workshop and my name. Slowly he lowered himself on the floor. Why take such an old form that’s hard to move in. I knew hot guys. Instead he takes this one. Wrinkled and weak with long hair wishing to be washed out pulled back in a ponytail out of him way. He just sits just looking at me; why is he so still?
I never saw a person who was a lost thing before. He cracked a smooth grin that looked as dangerous as it did forced. Not one I remember anyways.
“You shouldn’t force yourself to try to scare me if you don’t want to.” I said looking away from his face and at the piles or scattered objects. “What it a God of lost things?”
He didn’t answer quickly. My fingers twisted the braids more and more as we sat in the silence. But at least there was silence now. It was freeing. Like I said I don’t remember anything past this place but I feel like I should protect lost things.
“Protect?”
From those who are neglectful and carefree and don’t care about them; to give them a home because they have been cast out of theirs.
“That’s one kind of lost thing. But I doubt that’s all there is to you.”
Forgotten then lost is the fate of lost things. He was standing again much closer and looked mad that I would disagree with him on lost things. I rolled my eyes, if he didn't want to see more he wouldn't right now “So how am I lost?”
You’ve forgotten who you really are to run away from the voice of doubt inside you that want you to lose you’re self even more. I’ll control them from now on though so you can find yourself.
“And you’ll make that into yourself right.” I spoke without thinking reachnig out in anger. he wrinkles twitched as he winced. Why are you trying to get him mad? “You shouldn’t get to attached we won’t be two things forever. You’ll only hurt yourself if you care for me and you can’t just enjoy the between.”
I could see the old man turn into a younger man with black hair full of unmanaged cowlicks. His fist struck the wall and then the old man was right back. I failed my lost thing once other than this room I’ve forgotten them all. I’m just as bad as lowly mortals.
“No you’re not you knew they were important without losing them. We only learn that after. But I’m glad the cherished toy I had when I was little and the button that came lose were both so cherished when they left me.”
The anger melted away from his stiff body. What makes you think that? I smiles my eyes closing own their own. “This room proves it. Odds and end and thing people would hold dear. You can’t even remember what you look like but you remember all of these things in perfect detail.”
He reached down touching my shoulder with one hand a scooping my legs onto the bed with the other. He guided my body to lie down. He pulled the covers up over me. I smiled at him I’m glad I got a God with a soft heart. I could feel his hand on my head patting me softly. Good girl, rest now and let me get back to work. I’ll try to be quite well you rest.
His hand rested there for quite some time. I was so tired I couldn’t open my eyes but I wasn’t unaware yet either. I’m a sinner yet you seek to forgive me. I’ve broken all my promises; I already know I can only hurt you. To start to repent I must sin again.
