He watched the others file in one by one, recognising various individuals, primarily Jordan and Candace but managed to resist the urge to try and harass Candace with some sort of snide comment, it was much too early in the morning.

Rep did scowl irritably at Clerise as she entered for her ginger ninja comment and for a moment wished there was something on the desk he could throw at her. He didn't even have any mints today for ammunition. Lamenting this he settled for a sullen growl of. "Biiitch."

He wasn't best pleased though by the empty chairs around him, either his eu de polar bear wasn't sufficiently masked or people were just that ******** intimidated by his manliness.

Tracey was reminded that he'd been told to shut the ******** up earlier this morning and that order still stood.

He slumped on the table lazily, propping his chin up with a hand, drumming the fingers of his other hand on the surface in an irritating fashion as he waited for people to arrive.

Caelius' texts were getting shorter and shorter, Davey thought. He eyed the message as though it might just leap out of the phone and bite him (hey, he wasn't putting anything past Dr H, okay?). He'd been off missions for a while, so he'd missed a lot of things - such as not finding it unusual for Caelius to be okay and contacting them. Instead, Davey was more worried about the contents of this meeting. The last ones he'd been to hadn't tended to end well. Shaking his head, Davey slowly made his way to the designated room.

Spying a familiar face, Davey made his way over. "Gale," Davey nodded at the blonde Brit and dropped into a seat next to him. Following the direction of Gale's gaze, Davey frowned at the guy napping (of all things) next to Caelius. "Do you know who that is?"

Davey couldn't tell if Gale was staring because he knew the guy or because he was just as clueless as Davey. But he figured that if anyone would know, it would be Gale.

Caelius? Who the hell was Caelius? She remembered hushed whispers when she'd first woken up about some "Caelius," but her head had been so fuzzy then that all she could remember was the name.

Either way, Ami was not pleased to have her reading interrupted by some stranger texting her. She had shown up to the room nonetheless. She was panting and frantic because she thought she'd be late, but she made it nevertheless. Never let it be said that Ami was late for anything. She was too pedantic for that.

She took a chair on the opposite end of the table from Syd. Yeah, no thanks on that argument. Her eyes caught Dillon's, but she quickly looked away. Was she not supposed to be sitting? Errr ...

This time around, Wilson was somewhat awake when the text arrived. It was rather glorious, really, to be able to fully comprehend the message in one go when he opened his phone—though the lack of words certainly helped in that department. He continued to stare at the screen when he left his dorm and took in the fact that this message was from Caelius. His partner hummed thoughtfully at the name. When had the death hunter returned? Wilson pursed his lips. It would have been nice to have known about this earlier, but oh well. It didn’t seem like the man’s style anyways.

His first thought when he entered the room was Oh, Caelius really is here. He looked at Caelius, then at the man sleeping next to him. Wilson faltered for a moment, leaning forward and narrowing his eyes to examine the stranger. What was even…okay. The trainee decided to focus on something else. He waved at Deryk. “Deryk!” He nodded at the fellow death trainee before spotting Ami and striding over to take the seat next to her. Wilson smiled. “Hey.”

It wasn't the text that surprised Vanessa. No, she'd had plenty of those in her experiences here at Deus. It was the sender.

Apparently that horseman and Caelius hadn't destroyed each other back at that haunted house place. What a shame.

In any case, as soon as she got the text, she set off toward the room in question, mentally waving off Volt's chattering as the weapon both theorized and joked, at the same time, about the Death Division Leader's return. :: You know, I really think that Caelius is secretly an undead spy or something, seriously how many times has that guy almost died and then somehow comes back? Oh, and speaking of undeads, do zombies eat popcorn with their fingers? No, they eat the fingers seperately! Du-bum-cha! Get it Vanessa? It's funny since... :: As soon as the impending 'it's funny since' was thought to her (as it was almost always the way Volt ended a joke), Vanessa tuned him out, entering the room specified. There were several people she hadn't met, most likely do to the fact that Vanessa hadn't met many of the newest trainee batch, and the redhead skimmed over their faces, locating the returned Death Leader with her eyes.

He really was back.

Vanessa found an empty seat and took it, watching Caelius and his...strangely garbed companion out of the corner of her eye. This was bound to be an interesting meeting.

That Before was awake for the text was no surprise. That he was at the other end of the island when he got it was even less especially when he saw who it was from. Oh. He's back... 8C Before had hoped he'd never see the Deather Leader ever again but eh, Vanna reminded him that he doesn't give a ******** anymore. Still, there was a summons and he had to be there ASAP and he'd begun a mad dash.

His arrival was punctuated with heavy breathing, burning lungs, and sitting down at the first chair he could reach. A few more deep breaths later, he realized there was a very distinct smell of partially digested meat. Turning, he saw he was beside Rep. >.O

******** at his phone the moon trainee blinked once. Twice. Cursed, and then was rushing to get to the room. He'd though Caelius had been killed and they were looking for his dead body. The fact he was alive, back, and already was already calling them in the morning just- Apparently not even near death and a vanishing act was going to change anything about this guy. Getting down on time he smiled, looks like the new lambs had picked up on the importance of being prompt.

One trainee in particular he hadn't seen in a long time. "Davey, 's been a while. You doing good?" Sitting himself near the other moon trainee he gave a small wave and greeting to the other. "Bix, Gale, Clerise- Morning. Ready for the usual?" A glance at the new guy. "Think we'll be having company this time?" His voice was just above a whisper.

Rep could hardly mask his delight at having Before inadvertentedly sit down beside him, he was still decidedly pissed off at the other hunter for his escape from him last time and what a cocky little p***k he'd been with Rin there to hide behind. He gave him a decidedly unfriendly smile.

"Oh /hello/." he smirked, taking on that same purr he usually adopted when he felt he was dealing with someone who could actually be offput by it. "If it isn't cocky b*****d who can't remember a simple name."

Tedan wandered into the room with a few minutes still to spare and paused to glance around for a moment. That was ... a lot of damn paperwork. And Caelius looked like his usual charming self too. Back to business as usual then? Maybe. At least by this point, he wasn't wearing a cast anymore.

It didn't take him long to spot Wilson and a few others he recognized, as well as some of the newest batch and Tedan waved to them and then moved on over there to take a seat. "Anybody know what's going on this time?" he asked the room pretty much at random.

There was an audible lapse in noise as the Death Hunter shifted his gaze just a little beyond his Fortress of Solitude to stare angrily at the sleeping person. They in return may or may not have snored: one could practically see Caelius's temper rising as he shuffled the stack of papers in his hands rather abruptly just as the brunt of the trainees filed in.

"Class three missions." This was said a little louder than his usual voice, though the rest of the sentence proceeded in a somewhat normal tone: somewhere between the lines of annoyed and disinterested. Some things just never changed. "Intermediate trainees have been given clearance for class three missions, which are normally on reserve for full fledged Hunters." There was an unanswered question right there. Had the trainees worked hard as to earn the right to higher level missions, or was there another reason for the sudden clearance? "As class three missions are considered highly life threatening, it is recommended that intermediate trainees work together in groups with others, this could be other trainees or other Hunters. Class three missions are mandatory, mission details will be sent to your cell phones. This is not something to do whenever you goddamn please, if you forsake these missions, you are jeopardizing Deus Ex Machina and I will be more than happy to publicly demonstrate what we do with useless baggage."

The Death Hunter paused again for emphasis, leaning over slightly, though his gaze wasn't focused on anyone in general. "I will also assign general research criteria for all trainees to fulfill. You are to submit a mission report each detailing any information you find in your missions regarding The Four Clans. Though you have no individual value," Yes, that was Caelius calling them all useless,"I would hope as a team, with the correct exposure to exactly what kind of war we are fighting, you will at least stop ******** around." The last words were emphasized by a one palm slamming into the table.

Everything else was quiet again, though the more veteran trainees could practically hear Caelius thinking, most likely thoughts such as 'I hate you all and am sending you all on dangerous missions so you might all finally die'. A consistency, really. Another awkward moment of silence as the Death Hunter glanced one more time at the other sleeping figure, shooting them a few more impressive glares.

"Class three missions will begin tomorrow post mission with Allan." 'Allan' did not stir at all, though their head had finally drooped back to the table. It was about that time that the Death Hunter finally lost it, papers and texts flying everywhere as he picked up their phone, shouting something rather loudly about Hunters and their goddamn responsibilities.

Considering that he was now in the hallway yelling something about 'not ******** misplacing the ******** artifact', it was probably safe to say that the trainees were dismissed, at least from the mandatory lecture portion.

Allan was still sleeping rather peacefully propped against the table, blissfully unaware.

OOC

- All trainees now have clearance to do The new set of external missions! As per usual, groups must be accompanied by AT LEAST one intermediate trainee, more information regarding "The Four Clans" will be ICly revealed in the new few posts.

"Well," Jordan said dryly into the silence, "at least we know it's him."
PostPosted: Wed Feb 29, 2012 5:11 pm

Cass probably should have felt more threatened by that exchange somehow, but instead she was left just staring back at the Death Division leader as he spoke...and as he threw his tantrum to leave the room. More missions, huh? The mist trainee passed a glance to Marcus knowingly. They knew they were bad on missions together, but she'd probably proposition him to go on one with her anyways.

"Yep. That's definitely the Caelius we all know and love." she agreed with Jordan.

Beyond that, she simply called after Caelius after he left; "Nice to have you back, sir!" However, she didn't get up to leave. Instead, she looked over to the dozing Allen, cautiously moving over. Her posture probably would have been described as cat-like as she cautiously reached out...

Reaaaaaacchinngggggggggg....

Poke.

"Excuse me, I'm assuming you're Allan?" she attempted to try and wake the man, hoping that her poke wouldn't result in her arm suddenly being snapped in half. Which might have been why she'd retracted it as suddenly as she had, eyes wide as she waited to see what would happen.

Hahaha, sheee-itttt, this guy was super serious. Super cereal. Kix cereal, to be exact.

He meant business, though. Clerise recalled with a sour taste in her mouth Clarice's death, and how blase the good doctor had been about it. She had a feeling this guy would be a bit more full of vitriol, as he seemed a bit like...a really angry cat.

Idly, she wondered if he had a snaggletooth.

"The horsemen?" she murmured quietly to herself, confused. Obviously, the redhead was missing a few pieces of the puzzle, here.

And then just like that, the guy was gone, off ranting already about something the acrobat didn't comprehend. A quick meeting, but Caelius had certainly packed in enough info into it. Kind of vague info, but still.

Standing, Clerise scanned the room, eyes trained on the sleeping figure across the table. Curious, she wandered towards him and poked the sleeping guy in the forehead, just because.

Geeze. The guy was a heavy sleeper.

Allan snorted, shifted positions slightly so he was practically half-lying on the table like a giant oversized cat, arms draped dramatically in front of him, but unfortunately, did not wake up.

Hmmm, that hadn't worked at all! Cass looked at Clerise, who seemed to have had the same train of thought as she had.

"Try again?" she offered, "Count of three?" she suggested, though she didn't quite wait for confirmation before she mouthed a count of three and reached out to poke Allan again.
