AshWufei Xenin AshWufei Triste Black Metal Ist Krieg headbanger29 *cough, easy songs, cough* We really don't need that kind of negativity towards other guild members, man.. Well, they ARE easy songs and I'll admit that. xp What really annoys me is how I didn't get the right chords, positions, etc--more towards "i thought I figured the right chords out but I was proved wrong zomgwtfbbq". Well if it was just chord POSITIONS you got wrong, so what? I belive chord positions are all subjective. If you prefer to play it *this* way, and your teacher prefers it *that* way, just play it your way! I personally use whatever is most comfortable (I'm one of the few who LOVE barre chords), and what makes it quicker and easier to make the next change in the song. If its damn near impossible to make the change and still keep time with the music, then I'll find an easier position. I don't want to be playing in 5th position and suddenly play a chord in first position because thats the only one i know - i'll go ahead and learn the 4th or 5th position of that chord. well Ash that is true ( I like bar chords too) but sometimes some chord in lets say the 7th fret in D postion doesnt sound like its open chord counter part, so you need to consider tone and comfort But if your looking for the cowboy chord open sound, then obviously the rest of the chords are probably going to be in open position as well, in which case you would play it in open. But if every other chord is in 7th position, then your probably not worrying about not having the open-chord timbre. Ironicly thats what I kinda meant, its like telling a funk player to play cowboy chords, instead of really high pitched bar chords or such rofl

I'd like to learn some >.>
