What was your first Silent Hill experience?
It was the last game I played before I had to go to the worst place imaginable: High School.
However, it was fun because at that time video games hadn't become the phenomenon they are today, only nerds played games at this time. So when my friends came over to play they would actually sit and WATCH; like they were watching a movie, and they would often suggest where to go and we would discuss the game during my playing it. We would all scream like girls when the monsters would pop out. It was awesome.

Name your favorite Silent Hill game.
That's a tough one. I know that I respect number one the most because it was the reason the rest of the SH games were able to be born. In fact, my fondest video game memories were on PS1, so I am going to stick with it being my favorite. I know that when I joined I had said two was my favorite but as I busted out my PS1 and started playing all my old games again, I have to say that the first SH was, is and still my favorite SH game today.

Name your least favorite Silent Hill game.
This is going to probably make a LOT of people mad at me, but Silent Hill 3 was my least favorite. I actually didn't like Heather/Cheryl. Her dialogue bothered me, he complete disregard of other people bothered me. And I have to say, the game play for some reason made it difficult to get through the game. I want to blame it on Game Cube, because I actually didn't play Silent Hill 3 till WAY later, and by then could only find it for GC. And it was hard to control. The camera angles were s**t. I just was not thrilled with the game in general.
However, I did go back and play and beat it just to get the story and I did enjoy the STORY. I just felt... I don't know, that it could have been done a lot better.

Who is your favorite Silent hill protagonist?
My favorite character of all time is Cybil Bennett. I am always a fan of people who take their difficult lives and make something of it. And her watching her parents being murdered and then becoming a cop is a big win for me. She seems so strong throughout the game, and for once not a damsel in distress character that needs to be saved from stuff that she easily could have side stepped. Aside from being possessed, that's like getting the flu during flu season, Cybil never stands on her own legs.

Who is your least favorite Silent hill protagonist?
Gotta be obvious, Heather Mason. If Silent Hill was trying to create a strong female lead to appeal to the new collection of females playing the game, they sure as hell didn't do their research. That is NOT my idea of a strong female role, and as I played the game I found her more and more annoying and she kinda... destroyed number three for me.

Who is your least favorite Silent Hill antagonist?
Dahlia. And for weird reasons. As someone who super loves occult stuff, she was easily one of my favorite antagonists in general. The cult's perception of their God was this wonderful deity that would bring them to paradise but despite the warning signs that their God may not be all that it was cracked up to be, they still had this delusion that it was. And that kind of blatant ignorance makes for a good villain. Everyone goes the route that the villain knows between right and wrong and chooses wrong. But here, the villains think the wrong IS the right, not only THINKS but BELIEVES. So awesome.

Who is your least favorite Silent Hill antagonist?
I don't know if this counts, but The Grinning Man, from the Grinning Man Silent Hill comics, was my least favorite antagonist. He is just a westernized genetic copy of Walter, and though Walter was cool the first time around, he is getting kinda stale with all the fan gasms. The only cool thing I enjoyed about the Grinning Man is that he is ALSO modeled, (Along with Walter) after a Stephen King character, which is one of my favorite writers. I don't know, I was just hoping that with the title I was going to get something cooler than the Grinning Man.

What is your favorite Silent Hill "monster"?
In terms of appearance? Amnion is my favorite monster design. Although I am not sure why they did it, it APPEARS to have tons of symbolism which is what made me love the first and second game so much. That the monsters weren't ALL just designs to get people to like the game, but they had a reason for existing. With all of Amnion's awesome attributes, there are several things that could tie it into the game and I think the design was frightening and blood brilliant.
In terms of just liking monsters for other reasons, "Twin Victims" from Silent Hill 4 always fascinated me. It made no sense. The whole underlying theme that innocence was what kept you safe in Silent Hill. Since they had no personality because they were too young, they became random monsters that manifested because of Walter's guilt over killing things that were innocent. I felt they shouldn't have attacked at all and shouldn't have been pointing and accusing or whatever they did. HOWEVER. They are just intriguing. I enjoyed them.

What is your least favorite Silent Hill Monster?
-sigh- Bubble Head Nurse and Pyramid Head. Sorry guys. But you have overstayed your welcome. I mean, Pyramid head was cool for what it was. Awesome mask design, big a** sword/knife thing. What is not to like? But it was taken too far. WAAAY too far.
And as for bubble head nurse, well, the entire game was based around arousal, sex or at least the lack of it there of and finally lust. So I mean, she fit INTO the game, but lacked depth for me. I pretty much use that as an insult for brainless, stupid, over sexified women with nothing interesting to say except what happened on jersey shore the night before. >.>

I have to argue something here: She had quite a regard for others, and later on she trusted Douglas, being in her current situation, why would she just talk to anyone who comes up to her? Think about it that way, Harry and her are in hiding from cult who wants to kidnap her and sacrifice her, some random dude walks up to her, and another jerk face who works with Claudia suddenly enters, and says anything bad about the one you are close to, are you really going to trust them yourself? The graphics were amazing, if there was any fault with your version, it was the system you got it on. I never even knew that there was a Gamecube version actually. o.o I'm looking right now and even fail to see that. SH3 was only on PS2, and PC....

What is your all time favorite weapon in Silent Hill?
CHAINSAW! I LOVE tearing through people with chainsaws. (In Video games ONLY XD). For some reason, it puts a smile on my face. Which explains my love for Gears of War. Anyways. Yes, the chainsaw. Take THAT monsters!

And you were right. I thought it was GC. It wasn't. It was PS2

XD Sorry if you feel like I'm attacking you. But I do admit it could use some improvements, I liked the story, but I did not enjoy Brookhaven Hospital, it should have been more Paleville focused. Like if we got to see Lisa, or find some evidence of things over there she would naturally explore, and if there was more exploration in general... I didn't like how so many doors were locked that you could only see so much of the town.
