That idea amused her quite a bit. The firekin, romantic... yes, perhaps they were. They were also somewhat brutish, which she found funny. Not all, of course. But there must be some evidence of brutality, if slavery had once been a part of their lives.
"More male power..." She repeated, though less enthusiastically. What was so great about male power? "Show me the male power, kladhol. Come, let us spar." She challenged, ears perked. Male power! Tswana could beat Thabiti, she was sure. Besides, even if neither of them wer ein perfect condition yet, they would need to get started soon. Might as well do it with a friendly spar between friends.

"I saw many who cower. Pathetic. They should be strong and proud, ready to fight! Cower? Never!" Thabiti grinned, the dark red mask becoming more grotesque like a grinning demon. He saw some who cower, some who were weak, like the other day at the meeting with that one who thought reason was an option for the Nergui. That was an insult to the Hongshan, in his opinion, they had fought long and hard before being taken away by the monsters and yet, that one Firekin believed words would be heard.
"Spar with you, keksar? If you challenge with me, I will. But do not think I hold back because you female or my keksar." Thabiti nodded and turned to descend down the dens back to the Red Quarters. "Is there place we go?"

Tswana nodded in agreement, recalling the lions in the meeting. Reasoning with the Nergui, such a ridiculous idea! It was as if the firekin didn't believe what the Hongshan had told them of their enemies. At least the firekin leaders seemed reasonable folks, but she sometimes worried about some of the pride members.
"Never hold back." She agreed with a grin, following him down. Once they reached the bottom, though, she took the lead. "I saw place. Firekin do it there. Come," She said, and whacking him playfully with her tail, leaded the way to the training ground.
