Strengths: She is a very open person, will strike up a conversation with anyone that she can. She is friendly.
Weaknesses: She babbles when she is nervous about random events, her fears or what has annoyed her that day. She is also known to let her imagination run away with her and sit staring into space. She gets loud when defensive or upset. She also cannot stand conflict so when she feels someone is yelling at her she will start to cry. She hates to cry and gets angry about it.
Habits: chewing on various things (i.e. her knuckles, her lips, quills etc.)

Family Info: Kira never knew her father growing up. She was raised by her mother and her mother's family. She is an only child. Kira's relationship with her mom, in her mind, has always been "We take care of each other." She would be found in the owlery most at least once a week to send letters to her mother.
Rean's birth mother died of cancer when she was young, so her sister Frances adopted Rean and her sister, to finish raising them. Frances also helped raise Kira and two of her cousins while their mother's worked.

History
From the time she was born till age six she was raised in Sacramento, California by her mother and their aunt's family. They moved to Pueblo, Colorado to be with her grandmother and great-grandparents when Kira was six. Rean and Kira moved to London, England when she was eight years old because her mother was promoted to a position at the Eversheds Law Firm. They kept in touch with family via email.
When Kira received her Hogwarts letter, needless to say her family was in shock. Her mother encouraged her to make her own decision. Her grandmother expressed concern for the school, but left the decision to her. Her cousins only further ostracized her, calling her the favorite and spoiled. They told her that they would all be better off if she did leave, One of her cousins in particular said that she had already known since Kira "cheated" on their family game night when they would play a dice game known as "Ten Thousand" or "Greedy." She decided to go feeling it was better to learn about magic than be ignorant of her abilities. There was a part of her that yearned to leave if only to be free of her cousins' horrible treatment of her.

She is very territorial about her books. She will let others borrow them but if they are harmed she gets really upset. She also has multiple notebooks filled with stories that she comes up with. She has a deep interest of magical creatures.
