_______________________________________Pinkie gave him a strange look, not at all understanding what he meant. When he left the room, Pinkie's head cocked to the right, and blinked in confuseon. "That was weird. Hehe, well i guess i might as well tidy things up for him~! Pinkie chimed happily, getting a broom and starting to sweep.
~In the basement~
"Demo- Ch-Choto!" Pinkie's mom struggled to keep up with her grandmothers words, she spoke in mixed Japanese and English, and it was hard to understand. "Urusai! I can't understand you! Baka! Talk slower! Pinkie's mother's mother grunted and sighed. "Here.....is.....the......plan......." She sounded out very slowly, and Pinkie's mother glared at her from the other side of the phone. "I'm not retarded. You can talk faster than that." Grandmother sighed once more then started her explanation. "Do you have any idea what children like Pinkie are capable of? Up inside the woods is a small arena, where they put humans and humans against each other! If you win one simple round and kill the other, it's 500 easy bucks! Can you believe it? Maybe even 1,000 if the dumb people think Pinkie is too weak and they bet everything on the other, which is pretty obvious! You and i both know she's flexible and fast as hell, this could be our opportunity to become rich! And when we're done with her, and she's worn out, we could sell her to a slave master! Or hell, even sell her organs! It's absolutely PERFECT!" Pinkie's mother's eyes were wide at what her mother said. "Alright. I'll help you get your damn hands on Pinkie. But i have two questions. What happened to her mother, and how do you plan to get your hands on her?" Pinkie's grandmother heaved a giant sigh at what her daughter said. "I will go and get Pinkie. She shall be going to the "beach" with me. And her mother.....i did the same thing i plan to do with Pinkie. Only the slave masters took her awfully easily. She was a beautiful woman. Pinkie's lucky, she gets her looks from her mother. It's a shame she's so short and naive." Pinkie's grandmother broke out in a terrible malicious laugh, to be joined soon later by Pinkie's mother.

Oh my. Sure. I haven't really thought about what Pinkie's father was doing until this point. But sure, you can twist that around how you like~

James Young
James headed downstairs stealthily, and arrived in time to hear the ending of the horrible conversation going on between the two women. Never being one for jumping to conclusions, however, James decided to use his Trance powers to receive all of the details of the plot going on between the two women. He scowled angrily when he discovered what was going on. How disgusting, he thought. When he heard the conversation ending, he decided to walk the rest of the way down the stairs to greet Pinkie's mother. "Hello, maam," James greeted with feigned respect, "I just thought I'd come down here and talk about how long I should stay for." A coy smile spread across James's face as he tried to hide the knowledge which he had just received. OOC- OK, I'll have him come in next post. All I'll need is an opening.

_______________________________________Pinkie's mother gasped and dropped the phone when she heard that boy speak. "Ah! You startled me young man! Since you seem to mean a lot to Pinkie, you can stay as long as you would like." Pinkie wont be staying for long in the first place anyway. She thought to herself, giving the boy a fake smile as well. Pinkie's mother gritted her teeth silently. She hoped the boy didn't hear the current conversation.
Pinkie stared at the clean room, giggling in awe. It was so clean it was sparkly, and Pinkie was damn proud. After a few more seconds of awe, Pinkie decided to go to the kitchen for a small snack. She skipped there, humming a random song she had heard earlier.

Wait, so is her father going to be her REAL father or fake? You can choose, i don't really care. >.<

Jameschuckled a bit to himself at the mother's reaction. "Well, that's awful kind of you to offer that, but still, you shouldn't force yourself to have me if you don't want me here. I'm sure you have issues of your own to deal with," he said with a knowing smirk on his face. Then, as he heard the mother's fearful thoughts he nodded his head slightly, to let her know that he did hear the conversation. Then he decided to lean in and tell the mother in a hushed whisper, "Yes, I know about your plans for Pinkie." Then turn around with a snakelike glare in his eyes, walking up the stairs. He knew nothing good would come of telling her that he knew, but he decided to let any actions she might take to let her plans be carried out unfold.
James reached the top of the stairs, seeing that Pinkie was in the kitchen. "Hello, there. I have something to tell you, Pinkie," James said in a cordial voice.

_______________________________________Pinkie's grandmother was still on the phone, and her eyes narrowed with what she heard. "I think we're going to have to get rid of the boy." Pinkie's mother stared off in the distance where that boy used to be, and all she could do was nod.
Pinkie looked over to james and smiled brightly. "Yes~!? She beamed, holding a small mug and taking a small sip of the tea that was inside. "What is it, James?" she added.

"Well, I'd be cautious about your mother if I were you. She wants to sell you to your grandmother for a quick buck," James responded bluntly, a grim appearance on his countenance. He wasn't planning to spare her the monstrosities, but to tell Pinkie the entire truth, leaving nothing out. He simply hoped that Pinkie would believe him. James sat down around the table, and requested, "May I have some tea?"

Kurohebi walked up to the door and knocked. He was sent by the grandmother of the girl who lived here to help eliminate the boy, as the old woman had ordered. He was somewhat of a bounty hunter, you see, and he did as he was told if he found the job worth doing. He had heard about what the grandmother planned to do to the girl, and based on what she had said that the girl was capable of, he was wondering if the girl was a psionist, and wanted to hire her to work for WISE. He was told to listen to what the girl's mom had to say, and he would propose his idea to her.

_______________________________________Pinkie blinked, confused with what James said at first, but when he said that they planned to sell her, her eyes widened, and something that you wouldn't normally see in Pinkie was drowned in her eyes. Fear. Pinkie turned, trembling as she picked up the kettle. She brought a cup to the table where James was sitting and poured it. Her hand shook with more fear, but she didn't want to show it. "W-What-t is going to happen to me? A-Am i going to die?" Pinkie inquired, trying to keep tears from streaming down her face. Pinkie wanted to curl up in a ball and cry, make everyone go away. She wanted life to be like it was before she gained her powers. Pinkie tried not to show it, but it was obvious she was scared.
Pinkie's mother came up from the stairs and took a small glance in the kitchen and seeing Pinkie's face. Deep, deep down inside, she felt bad. Pinkie didn't do anything wrong, so why did she deserve this? The feeling she had was overwhelmed however, with the feelings of greed and anger. After Pinkie's mother heard a knock on the door, her casual smile turned into an evil grin. She walked to the door and answered it, smirking at the man she saw. "Please....come in." Pinkie's mother purred.

OOC- Well, I'm a part of the reason, so I can't really regret it. That's the way that my character is.James Young
James simply sat there as Pinkie's mother invited the other man inside. The look on her face said that the new arrival was bad news. Who is he? James wondered, before saying, "Come on, Pinkie, let's finish our conversation upstairs." He grabbed Pinkie by the arm and led her upstairs. As he walked past the man, he read into the man's mind using his trance, and was shocked to discover what he did. The man's name was Kurohebi Gekidoku, and he was a member of Scourge's top fighters, Scourge. He was here to work with Pinkie's mother to sell Pinkie. After discovering this, James quickened his pace as he ran upstairs. When he arrived upstairs, in an area where he would not be heard, he told Pinkie the answer to her many questions. "It's possible that you might die, but that new man is who you should really be careful of. He's someone who I might not even be able to help to protect you..." James said, stopping when he heard the sound of footsteps heading up the stairs.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Kurohebi Gekidoku
Kurohebi smirked when he saw the look of fear and surprise on the boy's face. From the looks of things, he's trying to interfere with my plans. Well, come at me, then, he thought. According to the grandmother's instructions, he was supposed to be posing as the girl Pinkie's father. He informed his "wife" of this, and then added, "I would also be willing to purchase the girl from you. I could probably pay you more than you's earn. I come from a rather wealthy and powerful organization, you see." Kurohebi could also see the seeds of regret forming in the woman's eyes. Foolish woman, he thought, Don't come this far, then regret it. Unlike Pinkie's "mother", Kurohebi didn't care what happened to the girl, as long as he and WISE benefitted. "Well, let's go upstairs to introduce the girl to her father," Kurohebi suggested with a look of utmost malice on his visage.

_______________________________________Pinkie nodded, trying to hold in tears. All this struck her hard and made her feel like grabbing a knife and ending it then and there. When Pinkie heard that not even James could probably help her, she lost it and buried her face in her hands, letting the tears stream down her face.
Pinkie's mother smiled and nodded at the man, walking up the stairs to Pinkie's room. "Pinkie, can we come in?" Her mother asked cheerfully, giving a small knock on the door. Pinkie sniffled and looked up, jumping off the bed and grabbing tissues. Her face cleared of any puffyness, and then she finally said, "Yes, you can come in Mama. She said this softly, and the door opened. She gave a small weak smile to her mother and the man. "W-What would you l-like? She added, her voice trembling with both fear and sadness.
She felt like giving up. Turning herself in for whatever she had coming. Her life was practically over, and someone she cared for--James, would probably suffer because of it. "I'm a horrible person. I'm so sorry. I shouldn't of met you. You're probably going to get hurt because of me." She thought to herself, biting her lip to keep from crying. All Pinkie wanted to do was walk up to the man and put her hands up, surrendering. She was going to suffer most definitly, and for now, knowing that at least if she did do something like that, that another person would be spared, it gave her a sense of happyness.

How sad. I might loose my only character. Well.....she could just be a good girl and join the WISE. >.<

"Well, I'm your father," Kurohebi said plainly and flatly. He didn't quite care how the girl reacted. What was important was the fact that she looked as if she was about to surrender to him on the spot. The boy must have told her about us, he thought, What a fool, to come so far, then give up. James realized as soon as he told her about the plan that it would be a mistake. Using his knowledge of Pinkie's nature, he predicted that she would surrender to the pair of wretches in order to protect him. In order to prevent this, he sent a telepathic message to Pinkie, which read, Don't surrender, I'm perfectly capable of taking care of the both of us. He glared defiantly at the man and woman before him.

_______________________________________Pinkie all the sudden brightened up a bit as the man said this. A childish smile spread across her face. And Jame's comfort with her made her feel even better. She ran up to her father and hugged him tightly. It was full of love. "I missed you, Papa!" She beamed, actually happy. "Where were you? Are you okay? How are you feeling? Was it fun? Oh my gosh, meet James! He's gunna be with us for a while now! Say HIII!!!" Pinkie continued being cheerful. It was what she did. Replace the sadness and depression with happiness. Pinkie let out a sheer giggle, hugging her father tighter. But of course....happiness.....came with annoying-ness. I'll get rid of all the sadness with my love! That's just what i'll do! Hehe! Pinkie thought wishfully.

Kurohebi's smirk was wiped from his face somewhat when Pinkie ran up to him and hugged him. Hmph, well, I figured it wouldn't be THAT easy, he thought, before responding, "I'm fine, sweetie. I simply went on a business trip halfway around the world. It was fun, but it took longer than I had anticipated because my luggage got misplaced." He took his right hand and tousled Pinkie's green hair, smiling with unreal love and care. Kurohebi also made sure that Pinkie wasn't looking at his face when he looked at James with a glare of unrivaled hatred and loathing, hissing at James, "Hello, and thank you, James, for looking after my daughter. I hope you enjoy your stay." His eyes issued a challenge to the boy, saying, "your visit won't last for much longer".~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ James Young
James acknowledged the man's challenge, then said, "Thank you for the kind words, I'm grateful. It wasn't any trouble to look after Pinkie, she's a nice girl." James's attention was then attracted by the sound of a clock striking midnight. "Whoa, it's gotten late. Well, thank you both, it was nice meeting you. I think it's time for Pinkie and I to get to bed."

You can't find kidnapping children fun, now can you? Pinkie asked bluntly, her eyes looking up at the man.

"Ah, so you figured it out. Well, perhaps that's for the best. Now, I can get straight to the point," Kurohebi replied, unfazed by his "daughter's" realization to his true identity, "I know you're a psionist, and I am truly here to ask you to join my organization, WISE. Now, please think this over. If you decline, I'll have to use force to take you with me." He sat down on her bed to let Pinkie think it over. Meanwhile, he prepared to use his trance powers to incapacitate the girl's senses, in case things went sour.~ James Young
James headed to his room to try and avoid the suspiscion of Pinkie's mother. After she could no longer see, he headed back to the space outside of Pinkie's room. Don't do anything rash, Pinkie, James hoped silently to himself. He listened in to the conversation, hearing everything that Pinkie knew about the man, which matched the information that he already knew. Furthermore, James rreceived the man's true purpose for being here, which he also already knew. This is bad, James thought to himself, If he's already revealed his true colors, then he might start a fight right now. James tensed up, preparing for a fight.

_______________________________________Pinkie nodded as the man spoke, showing she was listening and understood what he was saying. She blinked and tilted her head to the right when he mentioned something by the name of WISE. "WISE? What's that? An organization for bounty hunters? Why would you want me? I am only a child, and i'm not that strong. My powers....they....um.......don't really finish the job too well." Pinkie mumbled, sitting down on the ground and sighing. She remembered some of the many things she had to do to defend herself. Some involved using her powers to reach into a monsters chest and rip out it's heart. It was easy, but very gory. She could literally take someone's heart in her hand, and do what she wished with it. The thought made her shudder and hug her legs. The thought of hurting someone was foreign to her, and she hated it. "What about James? If i join, what will happen to him? Will you hurt him? Pinkie asked this and took a small gulp. She wouldn't stand at chance against this man, probably even with her powers that gave her the ability to defend herself against any attack. That is, except ones that involved trance. Those are the ones she truly feared and hated. To her, Trance was the most powerful and dangerous.

Well, as long as Pinkie doesn't die, I'M GOOD.
