Chris wasn't really sure if Paris was just pushing the subject to the side or if it really didn't bother him, but since Chris wasn't sure about what else to say, he decided to let it drop for now. After all, if Paris wanted to talk to him about things, then there was nothing stopping him. Or at least he hoped there was nothing stopping him. He happened to like that he could talk to his boyfriend about pretty much anything.

He snorted lightly when Paris patted his cheek, rolling his eyes lightly in a show of mock exasperation. He really didn't mind the affectionate pats or whatever Paris wanted to do. Sure, it made him feel kind of like a little boy, but he knew Paris only did it because he thought Chris was cute or whatever...

"A bubble bath, huh?" he half grinned, pushing himself up, then lifted a hand to rub at Paris's head. "And you want me to wash your hair? Well, Paris... I don't know... I suppose that sounds reasonable enough." He shrugged, letting out an exaggerated sigh. And on a serious note... "But you can't stay in for too long... I don't want you getting even more sick," he frowned, moving his hand from Paris's hair to press his palm against his forehead.

While Paris wasn't the girlfriend he'd always imagined himself with at this point in his life, he wasn't at all disappointed. If anything, that probably meant that he'd grown to understand a little more about himself, and had maybe become a better person for it. Paris made him a better person, whether it was because he had someone to care about, or just because he took time to be more cautious in his life (not that he was reckless before) simply because he knew Paris would worry if he wasn't.

Either way, Chris pushed himself up from the bed to head into the bathroom, turning on the water in the tub he rarely used, other than to throw Anna in for a bath once every couple weeks. Luckily Paris had bought himself some bubble bath, otherwise he wouldn't have any to offer.

"Come on," he said from where he sat on the side of the tub. "Unless you want me to carry you, too." Not unlikely.
