I loved doing dishes when I was a kid. Mom figured it out, and soon it was my job.

Consequently, I no longer like doing the dishes. I'd rather cook and have someone else clean.

Laundry is less worrisome because it doesn't smell bad to leave dirty clothes out for a little bit. xd Honestly, I'd rather have a cleaning service. Too bad I'm poor.

I'm rather partial to laundry over dishes. I have NEVER liked dishes. In fact, I hate dishes so much that when I'm eating a TV dinner, I leave it in the package and eat it out of there to minimize the dishes.

Laundry, on the other hand, feels really nice when it's freshly washed. I like laundry. When I'm home visiting my family, I do some of their laundry when mine's done just to be helpful. I don't touch anyone's delicates but my own, though.

Speaking of which, I have a huge amount of dishes from my stint at making a huge vat of Thai Chicken Rice...and a huge pile of laundry to fold.

Anyone want to come help? I'll help you with your chores!

I would prefer doing the dishes over the laundry anyday. There are currently 6 people living in my house (4 men and 2 women), so the amount of laundry we have each day is astronomic.

I also prefer doing dishes, and for exactly the same reason.

I do have a cleaning service, but they don't do either dishes or laundry. They mop floors, clean bathrooms, counters, ceiling fans, vacuum, dust, straighten up, pick up miscellaneous socks, change trash bags, remove the full bags, discard wayward soda cans, make beds, and generally make the place habitable. They actually tried loading the dishwasher once, but they got it so full that nothing got clean, so I prefer to do that myself.

I used to have somebody do my laundry, once upon a time when I was making a ton of money, and ooohhh, what a pleasure! She would take it away and then bring it back, all folded, and hang it up, put it in drawers, etc. Wah! crying

Laundry.

Dishes is way easier than doing laundry.

As long as there's hot water, anyways.
