It was demoralizing to see that he was still standing, to say the least, and Tsui could feel nothing but anger, mixed with a bit of shame, at the moment, despite the scratches and the forming of bruises throughout her body. Scrapes and cuts hardly bothered her- she had lost fights before and taken some rather ansty falls, but this was different. When their eyes locked, she knew that he was the stronger one, more experienced. More superior. “…Not all fun and games out here, is it? You don’t even need anyone from Chaos to knock you around a bit, you’re pretty good at doing that, yourself.” And the truth behind those words felt like a spiked whip to her already exposed ego, but Tsui tried to block it out. Her pride yelled at her to get up and fight again, but she felt exhausted. As energetic as she was, she wasted it on two attacks, one missed and the other barely even scratched him, and this hurt, more than anything. She just wasn't strong enough. When he extended that hand, Tsui was obviously confused, and she was hesitant to take it. He seemed genuine, but either it be her wounded pride or her newfound suspicion, she refused to take it. Instead, she tried to rise on her own, not realizing just how exhausted she was until she got halfway up and then flopped onto the ground again. Still, she growled, letting Remarque know where she was cut the deepest. "I can... take care of myself!" The sensible side wanted to retreat, but her pride refused. There was simply nowhere to run, and she was certain that the Dark Mirror Senshi knew it...

“Oh, yes, I can see that,” Remarque replied in an again sugary tone that only served to emphasize the sarcasm. He crouched to get a better look at the girl, perching quite comfortably as he eyed how much damage she’d done.
There was no denying that her punch had packed a tremendous sort of power, though he considered himself lucky for having dodged the first and receiving minimal damage from the second. Remarque reached over to brush a lock of hair out of her face in what could have been taken for a soothing gesture before moving to hook his arm around Tsui. He heaved her up in one quick gesture, allowing little time for protest as he tried to get her up and on her feet. “Come on, you can stand,” he said, keeping a loose grip on her in and effort to both hold her up and yet still leave an opening for him to leave if she started anything. “Go on, get out of here before someone finds you and finishes you off.”

It took her a moment, but she was able to stand on her eventually, and only when she was certain that her knees would lock did she pull away from him. It wasn't a rough push and more or less meant to make a point rather than physically harm him, forcing distance between the two. She looked at him, never one to wear a good poker face, and she asked exactly what was on her mind. "If... we're suppose to be enemies, then why are you letting me go?" She knew nothing of the Dark Mirror Court, beyond what little he told her. But, to be fair, she didn't know much about the White Moon Court, outside of what Pippin and others briefed her on, which wasn't much. But she knew that they were standing on opposite sides of the court, so, by proxy, they were enemies, weren't they? Tsui knew that she should have just shut up, swallowed her pride (and choke on it, at this point) and flee while she had the chance, but she lingered, if only for an answer. And in truth, she was very curious about this Dark Mirror Court, as well as Remarque himself. "You know... if you let me go, I'll only train harder. You know that, right?"

“Of course,” Remarque answered simply enough. “I wouldn’t expect anything less. I told you from the beginning. I’m not out to hurt you. Just teach you.”
He shrugged, crossing his arms over his chest and leaning back just a bit. His body language implied that he was ready to walk away, though lingered only because there were still things left unsaid. “There will come a time in your life when you will be in a situation that calls for you to reflect on everything you’ve ever done—everything you’ve ever fought for, everyone you’ve ever met. And you remember this, Tsui. I could have killed you tonight, but I didn’t.”
He spoke with a simple calm and clear conviction. “I don’t want you to die. I just don’t want you to make the wrong decision. Deception and empty promises have lured far too many good people into the White Moon. The White Moon, whose leader has disappeared, who leaves them to fight and die, alone." He shook his head. "I'll do whatever I can to make sure no one else suffers that fate. I’ll do whatever I can to guide you onto the right path, to spare you from that. And if you don't believe me now?"
Remarque shrugged. "You'll see, one day. And hopefully it won't already be too late.”

"The wrong decision... it's not that simple, is it?" Tsui asked, taking in everything he said but trying not to let him see how much it was affecting her. She was never the type to get involved with politics, but it would seem that she'd had no choice in the matter. She was a Senshi. She couldn't remain ignorant for much longer... She had no comment about the White Moon leader. She didn't even know WHO the White Moon leader was, where she was, or why she was gone. But, she fought against all doubt, at least for now, and she seemed to understand the urgency in leaving now. Not just to hide her wounded pride, but in the off chance that another one of his companions or the Negaverse were around. So, she straightened up, and with a nod, began to walk down the alleyway, silently thankful to be leaving with her life tonight. "How do you know you're on the right path?" Sailor Tsui asked aloud but mostly to herself. Whether or not Remarque had heard her and would answer didn't matter to her now, as she did her best to walk away without limping too much. "How do you even know if there -is- a right path?" She was determined to find the answers to those questions for herself, before she ever thought to face Sailor Remarque again in battle. Perhaps the next time they've met, she would be worthy of standing up against him, both in a physical fight and the moral war that went deeper then that. She growled, once again to herself, as she left, and despite her best efforts, one could hear the tiniest hints of doubt in her voice. "She hasn't abandoned us... No leader would..."

Remarque watched as Tsui left; he lingered, if only to make sure that she didn’t pass out or hurt herself for the duration she was in his line of sight. He had thought he heard her ask something, though when she never turned around nor repeated anything, he was inclined to believe it had all been in his head. His now painfully throbbing head.
With Tsui out of the picture, he felt free to reach up and massage the base of his neck up to the crown of his head. Hitting the wall had not been a pleasant experience, and though there was a difference in power between him and the girl, he was neither immortal nor impervious to damage. In fact, he could think of nothing better than to go home, take a warm bath, and maybe fasten a nice ice pack to himself and curl up in bed.
Overall, he was satisfied with the evening; he’d had far worse encounters with the senshi, and very much favored any instance where he could create a little havoc. With Tsui gone, Remarque was free to head out—back to the warmth and comfort of home.
He left with a smirk on his face.
