"No, it can't happen. It was a movie I saw... nevermind, it's not important." In truth, Gwen had no idea if it COULD happen. A few weeks ago she thought such things to be fantasy and make believe, yet now she found herself beginning to question reality. No, she was certain that the movie
Space Balls was definitely fake, though that didn't do much for her appetite now. She didn't let it show, however, and she gave a shrug as she pulled up a stool and sat so that she could better talk to her adorable, fuzzy friend. "As for the government, I'm no conspiracy theorist, but they do their fair share of hiding valuable information from time to time. So it wouldn't surprise me that they either have no idea what's going on, or do know, but are simply letting this play out. Leaving the fate of the world in the hands of a couple of teenagers with magic and weapons... that's smart."
That last bit was some of her sarcasm showing through, but she didn't linger on it for too long. No, her mind was simply trying to take in all of the information that Pippin was feeding her, and she mused aloud. "So my enemies are the Negaverse, this group called the DMS, and whatever other invaders that might spring up from time to time. Sounds exciting..."
It was the thing of make believe, but Gwen knew better than to deny it now. She was a Sailor Senshi, and her duty was to defend the Earth. And that was something she was going to take very, very seriously, but only after she put some delicious cupcakes in Pippin's belly. She moved to the fridge, "What kind of icing do you want? I think I have vanilla and chocolate... cats can eat chocolate, right? Or at least YOU can... right?"
