Signups are now closed. You stare at the snowtopped mountain with a gulp of apprehension; after all, having spent most your life in densely packed woods with shelter around you at all times, the big open space is almost frightening at times. You puff out your chest because you are big and manly and you can do this. Anyways, you've got this all planned out. You're going to march up to her with a fantastic smile and... and. Oh. A present! It's the Valentine's season – how can you start the trek up the mountain without finding a heartfelt present for Yeti? With an almost comical expression of panic, you look around frantically, trying to find something, anything, that could be a present for a girlfriend.
CHOICE A: Swiveling your head around and around and around, something catches your eye to the left. It's a... rock! A wonderful shiny rock! You crow in delight, picking it up in your hands and looking at it in satisfaction. It's perfect.
CHOICE B: Right in front of you, you see the most traditional and heartwarming Valentine's gift in all history: a flower. Its petals are a beautiful pink like the sunset, and yeah it's wilted a bit on the stem, but it is a sight nevertheless. You know Yeti loves flowers so you pluck it from the ground and beam. Thank goodness!
CHOICE C: Something to the right glints in the sun. It's a strange device; you recognize it as one of those items that the little humans stick in their ears. An... iPod? Music blasts through the earphones, and you touch it tentatively, holding it near your ears like they do. Out comes a lovely tune, mellow and sweet, and you know that this is the present for your lovely Yeti. You pick it up and hug it to your giant chest, ready to hike up the monster mountain.
Choose either A, B, or C, and post a reply in the thread by 11AM GMT on March 1, 2012. Next round will be posted at 12PM GMT on March 1, 2012.

Gulp! That mountain sure looked tall! But at the top was the loveliest creature of all: Yeti! For her, I would climb a mountain and brave the openness. For her, I would brave photographers and climbers. For her, I would do anything! For she deserved only the best and... oh no! I forgot a gift! How could I have forgotten a gift?! So stupid of me! Stupid, stupid, stupid! Too late to go back and get something now.
I looked around. Rocks? Rocks are plain and boring, even if one or two did sparkle in the sun. Flower? Flowers are what everyone brings! Got to be more original than that!
What's this...? Musics? This is a human thing, not something easy to find. Human music thing would work! Musics for dancing!!

CHOICE C: Although the strange contraption was something he had never seen before, Bigfoot, who had the goal to win his lady's heart, didn't hesitate to see if the object was worthy enough as a gift for his beloved Yeti. But once he heard the sweet and gentle melody that streamed through the headphones, his heart was all aflutter--the tune fit his dear Yeti so well! It reminded him of her instantly! With a prompt nod and a brief hug, Bigfoot looked upwards to the destined path he was just beginning, with a light of hope shining down on him.

Choice A
As he looked around him observing the flower, human music thing and the rock, he debated on the lovely gift to bring his beautiful love. While the human music thing was lovely, he didn't know if Yeti would appreciate the noise and who knew when the slightest sound might set off an avalanche?
The flower was lovely but it didn't look like it would last very long. Yeti might love flowers but he wanted this gift from his heart to be something to stick around for more than a few days. With a nod, Bigfoot scooped up the gorgeous stone and hugged it to his chest. Yes, this was the perfect gift for his lady love!

ROUND 2 GO!
IF YOU CHOSE A: YOU'RE SAFE. IF YOU CHOSE B: YOU'RE OUT. You pick up the flower, whiffing its gentle smell happily and feeling the urge to prance around in a fit of happiness and rainbo––– holy crap, what is that following you? Yellow, striped... BEES. With a none-too-manly shriek, you bound off a ledge and right into a giant pile of snow. Dear god. You're just not cut out for this. You sniffle rather pathetically and set out on your way back home... Yeti'll understand, right? IF YOU CHOSE C: YOU'RE SAFE.
SAFE KIDS: As you hold your present in hand, you start to amble happily enough up the gigantic mountain. You have a long day ahead of you... Suddenly, out of nowhere, comes a strange rustling sound! It's coming from the rather large mound of bushes to your left, and you stare at it in a sort of scared-out-of-your-wits horror. You've never really like things that go thump in the night, to be perfectly honest... But you've got do something! Yeti, your momma, your papa, they'd all expect you to do so! You puff up your chest and make a decision.
CHOICE A: With a strange and slightly random burst of courage, you decide to investigate the strange noise coming from the bushes! CHOICE B: You decide to keep going... After all, your momma always taught you that things always go away when you just leave them alone. CHOICE C: Run for it! Doesn't matter if there's something in there or if there isn't, if you run, you won't have to confront it and therefore you won't be in any danger no matter what it is.

Hey guys! Here's how ONE MORE LIFE works – if you're dead and you're feeling sad about it, just declare in this thread that you're going to use your extra life, and then just continue on with your choice for the current round! Every player has one more life, but once they use that they are dead 4everrr. Players that were disqualified because of not posting do not get an extra life. Players cannot use their extra life unless after the round directly after the round in which they were eliminated.
