Deep into the woods, Arell ALSO found that structure. "Only buildin' on de islan' . . . bettah investigate." he growled to himself. Plan? No, he sure as hell wasn't about to do THAT! He tried to keep low and out of sight. He eased up to a door that was padlocked on the outside. Looking around he saw that Abby, Artemis and Tim weren't too far away. Perhaps if he had enough time, he could get in and get the job done like he planned!
BANG! K-PWANG!! Arell shot the lock off of the door and opened it, easing into the shadows. If he was to take down this guy, he was going to need to be a little bit more covert.

Abby's eyes widened, and she gripped Tim's arm out of slight fear.
"The feck is he doin'?! Is he nuts?!" Abby asked Tim in a hushed tone. "I dunno if my good luck powers can keep people from hearin' that..."

Arell looked back to the three. "Dat's de POINT! You three go 'round t' another ent'rance. I'll handle de guards heah an' get Crystal. Since Y'ALL think dis is a game of TAG an' rather not SOLVE THE PROBLEM once an' fer all . . . we may as well just leave Doc'or Dummkopf be." he hissed, keeping his voice low and entered the building. Rolling his eyes. "We could still kill 'im. C'mon! I haven't eaten a human in a few months . . . " the gator side argued as they walked into the building.
NO! Last time, you got me in trouble with the law. I'd rather NOT have that happen, even if it means doing this 'cording to the Birds. he thought back, staying in the shadows.

Tygrus stopped in his tracks and looked up in the the air, sniffing. He hadn't gotten too far from the building yet and was now making his way back towards the sound.
It didn't take the large cat-man to find the three he was looking for. He grabbed Artemis and Abby and growled at them then to Tim. "What is your business here?"
Artemis hissed and tried to scratch at his captor. "Hey, ya big buffoon, let me go!"
Meanwhile inside the building Dorian had already injected Crystal with the last of the mutagen that was needed to fix her genetics.
The serum quickly took effect and Crystal squirmed and pulled on the restraints. A loud scream that seemed to be mixed with a slight roar escaped her lips.
As she struggled she started showing a few more cat-like features than just the ears and tail. Her pupils became slitted, her skin darker and a peach-fuzz coated her body slowly.

Arell heard the scream. Pulling out what looked like a few firecrackers taped together, he lit the fuses and chucked the primitive explosive at the ape-man's feet. "I'd put a bullet in ya, ape-boy, but right now, I got biggah fish t' fry." he growled and darted into the room.
Kicking the laboratory door down. (Not just open, but completely OFF THE HINGES) He charged in, pulling a gun on Dorian.
"You sonofabitch. Let 'er go, or you DIE here." he growled. Hang in there, baby. I'm here. he thought, heading over to the restraints, getting ready to cut her loose, keeping a loaded .357 pointed at Dorian.

Abby let out a frightened squeak, and let go of Tim's arm reflexively as she was grabbed by Tygrus.
"Eep! Don' hurt me, please!" she squeaked at Tygrus, looking up at him with wide eyes and then looking to Tim. She didn't know it, but her good luck powers would give Tim a better chance at convincing Tygrus to let Abby and Artemis go, or incapacitate him if that failed. Of course, if that failed as well, as long as Tim stayed within Abby's field he'd be able to rescue the Irish lass and talking cat if Tygrus sought to escape with them in tow.

((I don't remember having Garth confront anyone... O.o Oh well I guess he'd make a good run for it before the explosives went off XD))
Crystal pulled and tossed, letting out a low growl, she wasn't quite aware of the current situation beside her.
Dorian raised his hands in the air. "If you release her all that will happen is that she'll hurt herself and perhaps the both of us in the process. If you value her safety you'll leave her there until the reconstruction is complete." He slowly moved back away from the rather large Cajun man.
"And besides. What do you think your going to do? I'm the only one that can tell if something goes wrong and the only one that can fix it if it does." Dorian's gaze never left the gun Arell was carrying.

"An' I'm supposed to trust the dirty, mangy, rat b*****d of a ******** who kidnapped her?! Be thankful the ones I came here with have a no-kill policy. 'Cause trust me, EMILE, you may be her father, but I've got no problem with killin' you right . . . where . . . you . . . STAND!!!!" he growled, fangs appearing
BANG!!! Arell squeezed off a round aimed towards Dorian's feet. The tension in the Leone-esque showdown. Quickly switching to a chamber with a live round, he waited for the man's move on the chess game. A good move, like turning Crystal back and surrendering may lead to Arell letting him go through . . . however a wrong move? Keep in mind that big Cajun is a bonafide killing machine. An ANGRY Killing machine.

Dorian jumped when the gun went off. The guy was mad to shoot that thing in a lab, with who knows what chemicals.
Before Dorian could say anything his attention diverted back to Crystal as she stopped thrashing and the growls halted. A soft moan came from her, like someone waking up from a hang over.
Her eyes opened slowly, looking right up at Arell. She was still human looking, the peach colored fuzz was barely noticeable on her body. "Where'd chu come from?" She spoke in a slight slur, still quite disoriented.

Arell smiled as Crystal came to. "About five minutes ago. Wouldn't be a good boyfrien' if I didn't come rescue ya, right?" he asked and then reverted back towards Dorian. The gun trained at him as he took out that big Bowie knife. He cut the restraints loose from Crystal and sneered at Dorian.
"Now . . . you got two options heah. Robin an' a few others are outside. You can surrender to dem or you can try an' fight me, however unlike YOU I doan' take prisoners." Arell growled. Years of tobacco smoke had turned his Cajun Brogue into that of a Bayou Clint Eastwood.

Tim turned and extended his bo-staff to its fullest while it was pulled from under the jacket he wore. He froze as he stared at the hybrid of a creature infront of him. Tygrus, he had read from the data on his communicator. Robin stared up through the lenses of his mask, working at what to say. Maybe if he could get Tyrgus to let go of the two...
"Wait--- we're just here to see if a friend is okay...."
As he spoke, Robin kept the staff of his infront of him, appearing as a defensive object than anything.
(ok, so how far behind is this. I doubt the rounds of gunfire went off yet on this end)

Tygrus looked at Robin with narrowed eyes. "Where is Batman? He is the one father wants gone."

Crystal grabbed Arell's hand and pulled on it. "Listen..." She spoke weakly.
"Yes, listen." Dorian spoke calmly. "She has the same disease as her mother. It will slowly eat away at her DNA until she dies."

Arell kept that gun trained on Dorian. "I find out yer bullshittin' me, den I don't give a <********> what happens to me . . . but you can tell Satan I send my regards . . . if dere's any a' you left for 'im." he growled. DAMMIT! Jonah showed me a MUCH better one-liner I coulda used on him. If I only remembered it!!! he thought.
He leaned down towards Crystal, pulling the hammer back on the gun in his other hand. "What happened? Dat b*****d didn't do anything to you, did he?" he asked.

Abby stayed completely and utterly silent, although the look in her blue eyes was one of near-panic. She looked to Tim, silently pleading with him to not let anything bad happen to her or Artemis. She still wasn't sure if her powers alone would save her life here, and she was too scared to push her luck by saying or doing anything.
