Derek was walking around the halls bored and feeling somewhat alone. He didn't know anyone there but hopefully that would change. Fishing into his pocket Derek retrieved a small red rubber ball that he started bouncing has he walked. 'There has to be something to do here.' he thought. Classes were over and he had already finished his homework... yeah right. He wasn't going to even do it probably. Derek wasn't a bad student just one that pushed his academics off to the last moment.
He threw the ball at the ground to his left, it ricocheted off the wall and into the opposite wall and back to Derek. He repeated the process until he lost his ball in the boiler room. "Dammit," he said as he walked towards the room to retrieve it.

Derek walked into the room and saw a boy and a girl together. It seemed like the albino looking boy was holding her up and Derek let a devious grin tug at the side of his mouth. "Am I interrupting something?" he asked as he spotted the ball in his peripheral vision. He walked over to it and picked it up giving it a few quick bounces. He looked over at the girl. She seemed familiar, like they were in the same grade. O'Hara, Finnagen, McPare or some Scottish name like that.
She definitely didn't seem like the kind of kid that would be doing something deem-able 'inappropriate' with a boy... especially not in a place where others could see. However, his powers of speculation weren't always a hundred percent positive.

Derek looked past the girl at the hallway. He wasn't sure why there was a hallway tucked away back here, nor how he missed it. He smiled at her introduction and gave a slight two finger salute. "Derek Merrifield. he said. O'meara, that's what it was. Now if only he could remember where he'd seen her. Nodding towards the hall Derek couldn't help but wonder where it lead to. "Mind if I tag along? Been a bit bored and I've gotta say, I'm a tiny bit curious myself." he would rather go with a few people to check it out. He was going to find out just what was down there even if he had to come back later on he would.

Shannon went into the hall before the boys could."Aye, we can figure out where we saw each other later. I was thinking the same thing Niko about the twins. Even thought the girl knocked me over, who know what mishaps that they could get in." She said as she took out her cell phone to use as a torch since the hall was dark. Her phone gave off some light but not as much as she would like."Do one of you happen to have a torch on ye?"She asked while waiting on the boys to come into hall where she was before going where the hall will lead them.

Nodding acknowledging what she added about the twins, "besides...they're little kids who knows what they could end up doing..." He quirked an eyebrow up about the torch thing, "Uh...I have a key light..." it was a little but powerful flashlight attached to his keys. He pressed the button and it had a bright light piercing through into the hall. Stepping closer, following Shannon further into the hall to go search.

"Very true and when I say torch, I was meaning a flashlight," She told them as she was still adjusting to different terminology used here in the United States than in Ireland. Shannon continued down the hallway along with the others for about fifty yards before coming across anything besides webs. "Looks like a dead end here. With a man hole in the ceiling? Why is that here?"She asked with a confused look on her face, wondering what the reason for this hall and the man-hole in the ceiling. Soon, all three of them had climbed out of the hallway and was outside. Shannon glanced around the area and saw the old factory close by. "Aye, do you two think that they over to the factory?"Shannon asked them, already having a feeling that that's where the twins were at.
