Chrono Rorikzel Chrono shook his head. "Thats alright. I'm trying to finish up a suit of armor for a well paying client at the moment, if you wouldn't mind, I would appreciate a hand with shaping the metals."

Mara "All right," Mara said, eyeing his tools. "How do I help you with that? I said before that I'm a quick learner, so you won't have to show me what to do more than once or twice."

Chrono Rorikzel "Well, I need to test the stability of this chest plate." he said and pulled it out of the barrel. The cooled metal shined cleanly as the light hit it. He walked over and clamped it to a test dummy. "You see that sword over there? Would you mind grabbing it for me?"

Mara Mara looked around for the sword. Chrono hadn't exactly been specific about where 'over there' was. She saw a sword on a rack on the wall and figured that must be the one he was talking about since there were no other swords that looked quite so well-used. She took it, unsurprised by the weight of the metal. She'd expected that, but she was surprised that the sword felt so balanced in her hand. It didn't look like it was made for someone of her build.

Chrono Rorikzel Chrono got the chest plate locked in place and then looked at her. "Thats the one. What we're going to do, is test the functionality of the piece." He said and walked over grabbing a bow and a few arrows.

Mara Mara tilted her head to the side. She looked at the sword in her hand, then at the chest plate on the barrel, then back at Chrono. "So what do I do? Just hack at it?" she asked.

Chrono Rorikzel Chrono laughed a little. "If it only it was that simple." He said and drew the bow back with an arrow. "We have to test different spots, weak points, strong points and how much force it would take to break." He let off an arrow and it made contact, pinging of the armor.

Mara "Okay..." She tightened her veil around the lower half of her face with her free hand, then took a stance that would give her good leverage to swing the sword in her hand. "Just tell me where to aim."

Chrono Rorikzel "Aim for the end of the rib cage, its a spot that is usually made weaker then the rest, also see if you can hack into the armor bordering the neck." He said to her pointing the spots out. He had been crafting armor and weapons for most of his life, but always tested it to ensure quality.

Mara Mara nodded and swung at the spots Chrono had pointed out. Even once she'd put all her weight behind the swing, the sword didn't even dent the chestplate.

Chrono Rorikzel Chrono smiled. "Good, I was hoping this piece and its shape would work." He said and set the bow down.

Mara "It's very good workmanship," Mara said. "If this is what I get to look forward to, maybe I won't try to escape," she added in a mutter to herself.
