Ever since Roy had taken Tiki to the Host Club, she had taken a liking to it. And while she spent plenty of time around there and enjoyed the company, the idea of a blind date with one of the many seemingly friendly patrons or attendants was something she hadn't thought of. While Tiki didn't know much about courtship, she did know about what a date might entail... two people spending a whole date together as friends! Or maybe... even something more. Tiki didn't know what was appropriate to wear, but was assured that her little pink dress would be good enough.

'Who knows, maybe your special someone will think it's cute.'

She giggled at the thought as she made her way to the east gate, her red arrow risen to face level as she looked for its match. Her childish glee outweighed any doubt she might have had about who she would get, or even that she really had no idea what to do other than spend an entire day with her date. She had never heard of the celebration itself, though of course ideas of dates were not totally alien to her. She knew enough about that, or at least she thought she did. Love or not, what she really wanted was a friend. Someone who would be nice to her, and not move in and out of her life like all the others did. Someone to stay with her and be her friend forever. Perhaps that was too much to ask... but she would never stop trying, as anything was better than a lifetime alone.

She couldn't help but think of her 'big brother' back in Akaneia. If he had been here, would he have allowed Tiki to spend the whole day with him? Maybe he would have let her hold his hand. Tiki would hold one of them, and Miss Sheeda would have held the other. And they could all go on a date. She let out a small sigh.

Her reminiscence and daydreams were interrupted when she caught sight of a bright red arrow, just like hers! It looked like a girl was holding it and... she looked a bit nervous about something. She rushed over to the east gate and her match. She wouldn't want to think about other people when talking to her potential new friend, that would be very rude and Tiki knew it!

She slowed as she got closer and stood by the girl. She kept her red arrow held up, and the little green-haired girl looked up at her date.

"Hi there, nice to meet you!" She said with a smile. "My name is Tiki. What's your name?"

Lance was leaning backwards towards the fountain's edge at the marketplace. Wearing his most recent outfit purchased, he thought himself quite dapper and dandy, what with his black suit vest, buttoned shirt with the sleeves pulled up and a blue necktie, and his dark trousers covering the top of his boots. Easing his eyes from the brightness with shades, he thought he had a great outfit. He had his Cloak badge pinned to one side of his vest, because, hey, you never know when there could be an emergency.

It had been a while since he had tried dating. It's not as if he didn't have enough swagger, or the charisma, or the looks, but just the act of actually meeting face to face with someone for romantic pleasures (of whichever kind one was looking for) made him feel uneasy. He couldn't quite figure why (Hint: Probably because, you know, INSANE), but heck, it couldn't possibly go as bad as last time. Lance shuddered at the giant IF looming over, if things had gotten out of hand.

I swear, I had no idea she wasn't 18! And I was influenced by something!

Right, of course you were. Into the cell, creep.

Vidid imagination aside, Lance was psyched for today. It'd be nice to just forget the issues for today, and just hang around with someone for the day, talking and whatever. Hell, he didn't even mind if he got paired up with a dude, even if that would make things awkward. Maybe a bit of male bonding was what he needed after Aidan's sudden...

Lance smacked himself once in his face. No negative thoughts! He straighted out the white carnation he had placed in his chest pocket, waiting to be approached by his lucky someone.

User Image"Damn, did I come back at the wrong time." Rajin muttered himself as he was strolling through the street. His black cloak was covering his body, including his face. Although he didn't dress properly for this event, at least he was covered in rags or dirt. Hell, he just came back from his trip just hours ago.

It was nearly a year after Rajin had taken his business trip. However, he didn't expect that the antique he was to search was in Sentria. No wonder it took him forever to come back so soon, after dodging and hiding from those Sentrian bandits. You'd never know when they would jump at you just to steal your stuff.

Luckily, after finishing his business with his boss, the tiger was going to the bar to drink. However, one of the workers from Hostess Cafe (He believed it was a snake lady) got his attention about having fun and great time. Thinking it sounded fun, Rajin signed up... However, he didn't expect it to be a blind date event. Boy, did that dampen his mood about having fun.

"Pst! As if I'm in desperate to find love." Rajin muttered as he rolled his eyes. Although love was not part of something he wasn't interesting in, at least he could have some fun. Who knew what sort of day he would have with his date. Hopefully, he hoped that his date wasn't some crazy b***h or an ugly hag or even worse, that swindler that was getting on his nerve.

Curious of where he was to meet up his date, he looked at his slip. From what it was saying, he was to meet up his date at the town fountain's edge, matching it with a white carnation. Well, that wouldn't be hard to find. After all, who else would be carrying a white flower on Valentine's Day. People usually carried red or pink flowers.

When he reach the fountain, he saw few people walking by but no flower. Huh, could it be his date wasn't there? Maybe he should wait. After all, he was no hurry to leave.

As the tiger approached to the fountain, he noticed someone was there.Rajin let out a frown. Great, it was that b*****d who broke the tree down at Hog's Head and falsely called him a rapist. What the hell was he doing here? Was the b*****d waiting for someone? Eh, who knew. He didn't give a damn of what he's doing. He had an appointment with his date. Then again, he could just have a light chat with him before his date could arrive.

"So," Rajin spoke up as he approached Lance. "What are you-"

He stopped mid-sentence when he noticed something on the b*****d's vest. In the bomber's vest pocket was a white carnation. Rajin pulled out his white carnation and looked at it. Look back at the b*****d's flower and looked back at his. A minute of silence was passing by before the tiger spoke again.

"I'm leaving," Rajin flatly said out to Lance before turning around to leave. This must be some sort of prank the Host and Hostess were pulling, and damnit, he was going straight at them to get some answers.

"Eek!" Isadora jumped when someone whispered in her ear and turned around. Suddenly her face began to blush of who her date was. "T-t- Tibarn! You're my date?!"

Oh dear, never would she expect she would be dating with someone from the crew, not after resigning a year ago. This made the paladin uncomfortable. Despite knowing how well she knew Tibarn, she didn't know what to say. She left the crew when there was war going on. She left her work to Amelia since she was no longer a crew. And she couldn't tell Tibarn about the crew stuff either. What she did was like a betrayal. Besides, the paladin still wasn't ready to join back to the crew. It was too strange at the moment. Although it was uncomfortable for the Dame Knight, the Hawk King broke the ice first.

"Oh yes, so do I." Isadora agreed as she looked back at Tibarn and gave a small meek smile. "I didn't expect we will meet like this too."

It was still awkward for the paladin to feel nervous and uncomfortable. After all, she had talked with Tibarn before in the past. So why should she need to feel like this? Well, at least it was better to be set up with a friend than a complete stranger. But still.... It was awkward to be set up with a crew. Suddenly, Tibarn spoke to her.

"W-what?" Isadora gasped, eyes widen. Did she just.... Did she just hear Tibarn purr? And wait.... Was that a wink he was given her? Was the Hawk King flirting with her?

The Dame Knight's face flushed more red. What was Tibarn doing? Had he forgotten he was Ayr- Oh wait, they had a divorce a year ago. So that would make him available just like her..... But still, Ayra was her friend too! Oh.... What had she gotten herself into?

"W-well, I- I don't mind going to the bakery you've mentioned." Isadora replied, nearly choked at the end. Her eyes looked the other way, avoiding the Hawk King's eyes and the last question he mentioned. Oh how uncomfortable she felt at the moment.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.Amelia waited for her date in silence, tracing the rim of the monocle quietly. She thought of Tibarn, probably off busy on his date. He seemed happy to have the afternoon to himself, given that Vaherianslyeri was busy with her mother today. Amelia smiled faintly to think about her. She was just as energetic as any other small child, perhaps even more so, and just as much of a spitfire and ready to act as her father was. She liked playing with her, when her time between all the work she'd been left allowed for it. It let her think about Aisen without bringing up too many painful memories.

They probably would've gotten along, too.

A wry sort of smile had crossed her face when she heard a voice somewhere above her head. The blond general looked up, feeling her face turn pink. "O-Oh, Alex... no, it's not a problem, really." She took his hand and rose to her feet with his aid, smoothing out her skirt as she did. Amelia glanced over at the ribbons trailing from her skirt, then back at Alex. "S-So... ah... what exactly would you like to do...?" she asked sheepishly. She rubbed the back of her neck, studying the monocle before absently tucking it into the single pocket of her dress. Vah was always very adamant about having pockets at all times, and she had begun to extend it to Amelia's wardrobe. "What about lunch? It's about that time of day..."

Alihi Kaua

Distinct Genius

PostPosted: Wed Feb 15, 2012 4:37 pm

αкιнι кαυα | αιнι кαυα

After being... absent and out of reach for so long, it was a complete spur of the moment decision for the Kaua twins to get involved with something like this. Out of all the excuses they could have made to go back to Eyris, this had to be the one they used. After all, if they (Alihi especially) were going to show up out of the blue and start being present and out there again, it might as well be in the classiest way possible.

Alihi walked alongside Akihi as they studied their separate notes. It was hard to tell who was more anxious about all of this, but at least Alihi could keep a smile on her face. "It says I need to head to the west gate with this stuffed dog..." She turns the toy in her hand, idly thinking to herself about how her young daughter would love yet another puppy for her collection. Maybe she'd get to keep it after the date was over? "Where are you off to, Aki?"

"... The barracks." He replied as he adjusted the rather obnoxiously colored top hat on his head. Red really wasn't his thing, but he tried to accommodate for it as best he could. ... of course, the keywords there were "as best he could"; he still was wearing a purple robe so he still felt like he was sticking out awkwardly.

"Sounds romantic." She teased her twin, gently poking at his side when he doesn't stop fiddling with his hat. "You'll sweep the person off their feet for sure."

A blush rose to his face as he weakly pushed her away. "D-don't joke about something like that!" If anything, it'd be the other way around. He sighed a little under his breath. "... A-anyway, shouldn't you be off? You wouldn't want to keep your date waiting..."

"Right!" The smile on her face showed no signs of wavering as she gave him a firm nod and shook his shoulder for encouragement. "I'll catch you later, then! Try to make the best of this!" With that parting note, she turned on her heels and headed to her designated area.

Akihi, meanwhile, was a little relieved to be out of his sister's presence. "Make the best of things"... right. He could try to do that, but there were no guarantee that he actually could. Brooding about it wouldn't get him anywhere, though, so he forced his feet to take him to the barracks.

He felt as if nervousness punched him in the gut when he saw his date already there, waiting. The face seemed familiar... he knew he had seen him before but never really talked to him. Just passing glimpses during battle, he thought. He forces himself to smile, though it comes off as a bit nervous. "S-sorry I'm late... You didn't have to wait too long?"

He was probably stupid. He joined just for the fun; but then the thought of meeting somebody new had entered his mind. Then he saw her. Once that happened, everything inside him went topsy turvy like a little kid and the only thing he wanted was to be paired with her. It was the best chance for them to be able to talk after what seemed like forever. It was a childish thought, and though he tried ignoring it, he knew it probably wouldn't happen.

Once Abel was given his information and item, he quickly began running towards the location, heartbeat growing faster with each step. He was foolish, letting himself get carried away with but a small chance of having things be as he wished them. But that was Abel.

He took shortcuts through alleyways to bypass the crowd on the main street and eventually came barreling out of a side street, skidding to a halt near Eyris' main gate, the west one. He looked around for her, carefully, double checking where he'd already scanned in case he had passed over her. But, eventually, he came to the realization that she wasn't there. His face grew long and he sighed. He turned around, downtrodden, and figured he should probably go find who else was carrying a wooden sword.

He managed only one step before looking up and being suddenly struck with paralysis. "...Alihi..." She really was there, after all. He smiled awkwardly to her, or in other words he smiled like normal, and took a few steps closer. "I was... hoping you would-" He stopped himself after looking down at the item she carried. He raised his own wooden sword, looked at her stuffed dog, and then back to her. "...Oh." It hit him like punch from the hawk king. "Guess we're... not each other's dates." He was obviously disappointed, and was really bad at hiding it. He rubbed the back of his head and glanced to the side. "That's cool... I mean... yeah." He turned away, but glanced to her. "...I guess... I'll let you wait for your date then... Sorry."

αιнι кαυα

For a moment, she felt as if she had forgotten how to breathe entirely. Alihi had been so absorbed in talking with her nervous brother that the possibility that her date was Abel didn't even cross her mind. It was stupid... no, she was stupid, for not approaching him sooner, for not saying that she missed him or anything like that. There was just silence, an awkward and uncomfortable silence, that she selfishly made no effort to break. She brushed it off as needing to focus on Amara, to make sure that she grew up as normally as she could even with the circumstances and past happenings... but as time went on, her reasoning became weaker and she realized just what she was risking by continuing to live in isolation.

Even though she was quick to realize that he wasn't her date (a wooden weapon looked nothing like a stuffed animal), she didn't-- no, she couldn't let him leave yet. What if it was months before their paths crossed again, or longer? She couldn't... she couldn't lose him. Not when he was right in front of her face for the first time in far too long.

"Abel, wait." Instinctively she took a step toward him, reaching to grab his arm but stopping herself before doing so. "You don't... ah..." She found herself stumbling over her words a little. It was unnatural for her, but her nerves were kicking in. "You don't have to apologize. I wouldn't mind the company while I waited."

Ephraim had done a little people watching while he was waiting for his own date. A few other people he recognized here and there strolled through the streets. All of them carrying their own items to help find their date. Not to mention the particular location they were required to be at. The hostess club..Ho boy...looks like that pair didn't seem to end up well as looks like...Then again...this was a blind date. Nobody said genders were limited.

"S-sorry I'm late..."

He lifted his head, turning it in the direction the sound came from. Well there was a familiar face--Wait...that's....Isn't that Alihi's twin? Ephraim spotted the same item he had perched on his head. Boy, looking at that on someone else, the two of them must look completely ridiculous.

"You didn't have to wait too long?"

"No, not at all." The lancer replied, pushing himself off the wall to greet his date. "You know, to be honest, if I hadn't met a certain someone back then, this outcome of having a male as my date would probably come off as completely freakish to me." He observed Akihi head to toe and it was clear he was a bit nervous. Though the two of them hadn't actually conversed back during the fall festival, Ephraim definlently remembered him. "Now that I think of it. I don't think we ever introduced our selves back then." He extended his hand out for a shake and simply smiled. "I'm Ephraim, gotta say, glad you're my date and not a psycho." Lightly chuckling at his own joke. It was probably stupid, so he cleared his throat quickly.

PostPosted: Wed Feb 15, 2012 6:33 pm

At first, Abel didn't know what to say or even how to react. She actually wanted him to stay. He looked at her, mouth open, noticeably surprised. He was never good at hiding what he felt. He wasn't even sure why he was surprised or why anything was the way it was anymore. The thought just seemed so distant. Eventually, his face went soft and grinned. "...Sure. I'd like that."

And then again came the awkward silence. A baffling situation, Abel could never see them coming and never knew how to deal with them. At least, not without looking stupid. But he'd grown so much, he'd surely be able to talk to girls by now. And it's not like Alihi was any girl, she was... well, he cared about her. To his distraught though, that only seemed to make him even more nervous.

"So, um... I see you got bigger!" He kept smiling for a couple seconds until he realized... "...I mean, no! Your uh..." He frantically lifted his hands in front of him at chest level and then very quickly realized that was a very misleading gesture. "... ...No! Not those, I meant... head- height! You got... taller..." Abel sighed. "You look nice..."

The heart-tipped arrow remained stubbornly stiff in Myyrh's hands as she wrung them back and forth over the carved wood. She had never been on a “date” before, and was not sure exactly what the event entitled. That coupled with the fact that she had needed to separate from Ephraim in a city full of strangers had left her hands feeling cold and her nervously looking around outside the jewelry shop that people had said was owned by Leena. The person she was to stay with for the entire day was supposed to meet her here, but the time Myyrh had already spent alone had caused her to begin spinning out a thousand different scenarios in her mind, all of them with the day turning into a disaster. What if she was in the wrong place? What if the person didn't like her? What was she supposed to say? What if they scared her? Despite having fought alongside Ephraim and Eirika, despite having slayed monsters even veteran soldiers would run from there was nothing the purple haired girl feared more than being alone. She cast her eyes around the crowd again, looking for the other bearer of a heart-tipped arrow.

Everything seemed to be starting off all right! Everyone was coming up to get their items and their instructions, and it was getting easier to go through her practiced speech for every person that came up onstage. She could only hope that no one was noticing possible gender imbalances in the pairings. Well, not everyone is heterosexual, right? I'm sure it'll all be okay. If anything, doesn't have to be romantic, right? At the end, when the area was finally clear, Blossom straightened up and put her hands on her hips. "Well, that's that! Now we just have to hope that everything goes well." She brushed her hands together and moved to clean up after the distribution of all the items. Putting the buckets down on the stage, she was beginning to fold up the tablecloth before she realized something.

"We have another name down there. Did someone not show up?" Blossom knelt down and plucked the little slip of paper out, studying it before unfolding it casually. "Who would sign up and not come here? That's just--" She paused when she unfolded the paper and read the name penned there. The Hero was very quiet for a while, then finally spoke up, voice wobbly. ”Is there someone else around here named Blossom?”

Ganon was all aggravating smiles. He was just glad he’d managed to drop her name into the empty bucket when she wasn’t looking. ”Nnnno, I do believe it’s just you,” he said, picking up a note and a rose he’d set aside. ”You need to get out with people not at work or... yeah, in a social context.”

Poor little Blossom, having to go out and actually interact with people! Her face paled a little as she turned to face the hgi’val, paper held in a death grip in one fist. ”B-But I can’t-- I didn’t think it-- b-but...” she trailed off uselessly, arms dangling at her sides. She glanced out beyond the stage and towards the city, then looked back to her friend. ”I-I don’t... I don’t know if I can...”

”Come on, now,” he said, crouching a bit to put his hands on her shoulders. ”You have a life to lead, Blossom. You need to get out there and have a little fun. Nothin’... you know, romantic necessary, just go out and have a fun time with somebody. And make sure he pays for everything,” he added with a little grin. ”No pressure. You just need to get out there and relax. It’s a good opportunity for you.”

She managed to laugh at that point. It was a little shaky, but it was still a laugh, and that was better than the terrified look she’d had just a moment earlier! ”I... I guess... I mean, if you’re sure about this,” she finally responded, rubbing her arm over her sleeve. She glanced down at her dress, smoothing out an askew fold of ruffled fabric, then looked back at Ganon. The trepidation was still there, but her eyebrows had gone up, chuckling again weakly. ”You wouldn’t let me say no anyway, would you?” And there went a little smile, even better! She looked around, then back to Ganon. ”So where... u-um...”

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.He ruffled her hair a little, smirking. ”Outside the Watch house. Figured I’d put you on familiar ground,” he chuckled, standing back up and handing her a white rose. ”Go on. I’ll see you around later, kay?”

Blossom took the white rose in silence, studying it quietly before pinning it to the chest of her dress. It even matched. How convenient of him. Blossom looked back to Ganon, standing still momentarily. The Hero then hugged him tightly, getting her arms around him as best as she could. He was a big guy and she was... most certainly not very big. ”I-I’ll be back later, I... I guess. I’ll help, um-- help take down the stage this evening.”

He smiled and hugged her back. ”Yeah, yeah, now quit stallin’ and go,” he laughed, sending her on her way!

And then... with the place empty, he slunk over to a certain red-scaled nagini. ”So... I know a nice... warm... private spot,” he murmured softly, letting his fingers tickle their way down her back. ”What say you and I...”

D'Rias
Location: Eyris

D'Rias sat on the marketplace fountain, the wooden spear draped across his lap. The black cloak and clothes he had arrived in still on his back. Changing was something he most likely would not have done had he had the money anyway. This way he could keep Vgrmyrk hidden on him at all times along with another dark tome. He was far too weak to use the ancient spell that had caused his imprisonment and so would have to rely on the basic techniques once more. He looked back down at the object that would make him stand out to his designated partner for the day. D'Rias had been part of many village celebrations, the cost of insulting a communities traditions hardly ever was worth it particularly since he was in a foreign land he knew nothing about. This fetival certainly was odd however, he had never thought one would simply be assigned someone random out of the crowd. It seemed clearly obvious that such a thing was practically shouting to criminals to take advantage of a strangers hospitality. If anyone would be foolish enough to think he would be an easy target they would soon learn what it meant to face a former mage-lord of Rausten. However, that was an unlikely occurrence given that this seemed to be a yearly event. More than anything else this would be the perfect opportunity for learning about this new land.

Clara was surprised when she hear someone. It was a female voice, and almost sounded like a girl. She looked around for who it was and then looked down a little. The surprise on her face was now more visible when she saw Tiki. She was just a girl, or at least was to Clara's eyes.

"Hi I'm Clara," She said nervously.

The grin on Sain's face went to pure horror when he has who the white arrow belonged to. He dropped his things and his hands went to his head. He looked like he was about to cry.

"What in the name of Saint Elimine did I do to deserve this!?" He yelled, "I'm sorry for whatever I did! If this is for setting up Kent on a date with Lady Lyn, I'm sorry. I didn't know she was with Rath!" At this point Sain has forgotten that Regulus can probably hear him.

She rubbed her elbow insecurely, while hoping that the people walking by would see her and not bump into her. She was uncomfortable just being in such an event, it didn't help that she was dressed up a little. She wasn't rich, so it wasn't anything special, but she did decide to wear a blue dress- a choice she was beginning to regret, given how out of place she seemed to be. She had never dated before, either... The only guy she was ever really enamored with was Heath, and that was only from afar. It was also a childish crush she had grown out of a long while ago. Her two friends, Zeiss and Regulus, well... it was never a good idea for them to be in the same room together, while she was there. She just didn't know what to think about them. Regulus always came on so strong and made her nervous , and with Zeiss she wasn't sure what he wanted... Was he defensive of her just because they were friends?

Mihira sighed and cleared her mind as she brushed through the hair that came over her shoulder. She glanced around one more time and then fiddled with the gold lapel pin that had been pinned on her. She didn't see anybody else wearing one. "Nobody's coming..." She murmured as her head drooped towards the ground. "He probably saw me and turned the other way... I couldn't blame him." She sighed deeply one more time as she stared at the cobblestone at her feet.

Regulus
Regulus frowned at his partners over-dramatics. "Hey I ain't exactly thrilled about this either. I was hoping for a lovely young lady to spend the day with, and maybe the night as well if you catch my meaning. Instead I get you." He rubbed the stubble on his chin in thought for a moment and a devious smile spread across his face. "I'm getting a brilliant idea! How about we go out and find some ladies to woo. We can be each others wing-men, anything one of us says to impress a lady the other backs him up on. No one around here knows me other than a few people in the Guard so there would likely be no one to refute any claims I make. No woman will be safe from my charm, or my music. who knows maybe we could get someone for you my friend. What do ya say?" Regulus held out his hand for shaking. "My name's Regulus, what's yours?"
