Mako heard the new person entering the area, but ignored him. There were more important things to deal with.
Kazegami's winds began stirring up and the bird high up in the air began to falter in its flight path.
Mako drew his sword and readied himself for one of the ninja to attack him.

Marik walked closer seeing the head bands, he now knew the man that summoned the horse was an ally do to the mask on his face being of Sunagakure nature. Marik looked towards the lowly ninja near his fellow comrade, "don't worry I got these pests, worry about the man in the cloak." Marik said as he smiled and unlatched the four pouches that rested on his lower back. Marik pointed his finger shaping his hand like a gun, using 'Hagane Dama' as he pointed two fingers at the Mist ninja and lowered his thumbs as he did his platinum sand gathered and hardened into small bullets and fired at the shinobi. What would originally be seen as a threat would actually kill the man by forcing the bullets to puncture the skull directly between the shinobi's eyes. Marik looked at the next two and they tried to flee, but as they ran the same bullets that killed the Mist shinobi chased after the two running away. Marik laughed as they ran and dropped trying to avoid the bullets, breaking the bullets apart he used more sand and forcing it to cover the two as they were still covering to avoid the bullets. Marik watched as the sand rose the two off the ground and covered their heads and body, Marik raised his hand and closed his fist and the sand crushed them into a bloody mess. The sand returned to Marik, looking towards the man with the cloak he smiled and readied himself for a fight.

As the appearance of a new shinobi to the battle came to, he started to identify shinobi around the area. Once he spotted who was friend from who was foe, he launched his attack. As he fired his first bullet it begun to sprinkle, and with each preceeding bullet it would begin to build to a full fall down. The screams of his servants rang through the air as they were soon met with silence. Magus, of course, felt nothing for them. They weren't true members of the sect, they just stood as potential to draw out the true potentials. "I stand amazed by you, by that tattoo graced across your being, I would say you are the Platinum Sand Devil of the Sand. Your reputation holds true through the rumors."
The cloaked man said in a calming soothing tone as he clasped his hands in front of him and bowed. Holding his gloved hands out in front of him and in full bow showing his respect for the shinobi before him. Unknowing to them, it was all but a ruse put forth by the Cloaked man as upon looking at him in full bow, shadows would appeared from all around them blocking all light and sound from around the two shinobi. All was silent as of right then, when the genjutsu took shape, they stood at the mercy of Magus of the Deep.
As the genijutsu would go on, if it landed, Magus would begin to talk to Marik, his will allowing his voice to only carry and be heard by Marik's ears. "How loyal are you to Sunagakure? Don't you feel there is a higher calling out there for you, something more for you in this world?" He asked as his disembodied voiced flowed through the silence, at the same time, the same was said to Mako, but sepreate from Marik's. Mako, being a lower ranked shinobi would be child's play to end right here, right now, but members could be found in the strangest of ranks and Spies were always welcome for information on other villages.

Marik laughed as darkness surrounded him, "I see my name and reputation has reached limits even unknown to myself, well I thank you for the kind words of my name. I believe you have an advantage over me, for I do not know your name." Marik said as he stood in the darkness he was not frightened by this technique nor its user, Marik was not sure what this mans angle was but he was willing to hear him out. Marik heard him ask of his loyalty and speaking of the possible future calling for him, "I am loyal enough, but what is it you have in mind for my future. I will not make any promises, but I will hear you out and answer what questions or comment on the words spoken with the 100% truth." Marik said as he simply readied himself for anything that may happen while inside this jutsu, Marik sighed as he covered himself in the Platinum Sand and still stood in the same spot he had been in the whole time. Marik did not know what this man wanted but attacking while unaware of his position could place him in even further damage, and not to mention make this already sticky predicament even worse for himself. Marik was still as calm as ever and refused to do anything stupid for his own safety, but he also wouldn't lower his guard especially since he was already in a foes jutsu.

Without alarm or even Marik being able to see or hear it, bamboo sticks begun to rise from the sand surrounding him from all sides, the same occurred around Mako as well as a dome of earth covered the region upon which they stood. This both being unseen or heard through the darkness of the genijutsu, it would start to become noticable with the sensation of weakness would begin to over take them. "I am known as...Rei, that is all that you need to know...for now. The gods have gone from this world and sent me to bring a select few back to replace them as the new gods of this world. Would you leave your village if it meant creating a better world so that harm would never befall them ever again? Could you betray them if it meant, they would be safe in a better future for it?" He asked.
Magus still awaited an answer from Mako as he stood on top of the earth dome with one hand on the dome and the other extended outwards as he formed one handsign causing wood to rise up from the earth and shifting sant around them to the air and high above them lacing through the air to form a dome barrier around the three protecting Magus from outside forces and interruptions to save the two in his grasp currently. From the sand below Mako's creation, also caught within the genijutsu, would not see or hear the movements in the sand below it as 5 spikes of bamboo would strike from different angles moving rapidly to impale the creature where it stood. One from below to slice into the underbelly, two from the sides to meet point with the first from below in the center of the horse, one from in front aiming to slice through the base of the throat of the beast and through the neck, and the last going straight for the balls of the creature to solidify its demise.

Marik smiled as he could feel the disruption in the ground below him, even though he couldn't see or hear didn't mean he was completely helpless. Marik listened only to think the man was more crazy than he had initially thought, "Gods or no Gods, what makes you the next in line to recruit and replace the previous Gods?" Marik asked as he made handsigns with incredible speed, he would only wait to use the jutsu he was not going to jump the gun. Marik simply closed his eyes in order to focus even more on his other senses, "So, what exactly are you trying to convince me of. How is betraying my village going to help them, I am not stupid so you might want to make me believe your words. The simplistic base of your attacks shows you are not as God like as you are trying to convince me to believe. I may have been born at night but it wasn't last night, so please tell me what I gain by betraying my village and joining you." Marik said as he made sure he held the final handsign and not forcing chakra out just yet to use the technique, he would first make sure that he was not interested in the proposal made by the man claiming to be a God.

Magus laughed. "You flatter me with your words, I do not think of myself as a god just yet. I am but human as you are, though I am a decendant of a god. But this isn't about me, you might have heard the title of Rei before, I am but the Leader of a Secret Organization bent on World Domination to bring a means to an end, sheer peace to the land with a conflict to end all conflicts. If it pleases you and sways your decision, I haven't the problem of you staying in your village, leaving just makes things easier for you and your friends. The previous members of my organization failed to see the importance of working togather of which lead to there downfall, even one tried to force himself to become a god."
He paused as wondered about the man below him. "I'm not trying to curve your mind into a sheep to follow me, you are free to brace your own thoughts and such. Even partake with me, things you wish you could do in your own village. There must be sommmmethinnng you deeesirrre.."

Marik canceled his jutsu, "I am a Sannin, staying and leaving my village will not be a problem. It was the fact that you were talking of me betraying my village, I will not betray them but the offer seems interesting. I am willing to work with others as long as they do not get in my way, I will not hessitate to attack those that slow me down." Marik said as he smiled and focused his mind knowing the darkness was a genjutsu for it lasted to long and the fact it cut off all sounds but the sound of the mans voice. Marik concentrated on breaking the genjutsu and released his chakra in order to disrupt the Genjutsu causing it to cancel out in his mind. Marik then seen the bamboo in the surrounding area as well as the earth dome around him, "well I am willing to give this organization a shot, since I like company and it has been too long since I last was part of a team. But if for any reason my village is placed in danger by this organization I will not hesitate to kill those responsible for place my village in danger. Do not think you are not included in that group, I do not care of your ancestors or abilities I will not think twice if you place my village in danger. So as long as that stipulation is followed I will be more than willing to join you." Marik said with a smile as he awaited the man to reply, or even to cancel the jutsus that surrounded him. Marik was not one to just up and trust people that attacked him or placed him in jutsus, it might take awhile for him to gain trust in this man but he would still work with him.

Mako ended his jutsu that brought out Kazegami. It seemed pointless to use it anymore. He began drawing once again, but this time he drew a bow withthe symbol for lightning next to it.
"Come forth, Gekigami!"
A white bow with a red tiger head at its center, came off the page into Mako's hand. The tigers mouth was open with a hole that ran clean through the arc of the bow. There were no arrows, nor anything that looked like it could be used as a projectile.

Mako was still trapped in the genijutsu, unlike the Sannin near him. Not only trapped in a genijutsu, but a triple trap made of bamboo and a chakra draining Dome. Through the darkness a voice came calling out to him once more. "Makkkko, Mako, are you ignoring me? Thats not nice to ignore other when they speak to you."

Mako ignored the voice that was calling him. He had enough training to know not to believe anything when trapped in a genjutsu. To Mako, it wouldn't matter if an ally was calling out to him, or the enemy, there was no chance he was going to listen.
He pulled as if readying to shoot an arrow and aimed at the side of his foot. He let go and a small shot of lightning shot out grazed his foot. The shock of the sudden pain brought him out of the genjutsu, only to find he was still trapped.
"Well that's one trap down," he thought to himself.

While Mako had his hands full with what seemed to be very strong opponents, Soichi had his own battle to worry about. It had been hours since he and Soji began fighting, neither one has taken any damage but both were holding back. Just as he was going to punch Soji, Soichi could hear the sounds of multiple jutsu being released, "That's where Mako is" Soichi said as he had been caught off guard, which let Soji counter his blow and deliver with one of his own, "Sorry, but I can't play with you any longer" Soichi said as he caught the man's punch and then flipped him over, "Nuregami, lets end this!" he shouted as the long, white snake came slithering out of hiding and bonded Soji. As Nuregami squeezed the man began to black out, soon the man was out completely, "Nuregami, lets head towards Mako" Soichi said as the two rushed back towards Mako's location.
Just moments later, Soichi would appear in the air, "Katon Goukakyuu no Jutsu (Fire Release: Powerful Fireball Technique)" Soichi exhales a giant fireball right at the dome, that surrounded Mako, and blasted a wide gaping hole into it. Soon the hole would expand and grow wider and thinner, as it does pieces crumble and fall and soon the entire dome completely collapsed, freeing Mako.

Mako sensed the commotion outside his prison and readied his sword while still holding his bow in his left hand.
"Wind Style: Wind Blade...."
The ANBU leader swung his sword repeatedly, releasing several razor sharp blades of wind that cut through the bamboo. Mako immediately jumped out, sheathed his sword, and readied his bow.
"Thanks Soichi, that would've have been too much trouble to do by myself."
