Seer. See'er. Same thing. At least in Sar's mind. The words he word draw to mean Seer would be the same for See'er. A wide open eye at the center. Maybe lashes or something around the eye, but still it would be see'er and seer at the same time.

He was glad he wasn't a seer. It sounded interesting to learn about, but not to actually be. According to the seer, you didn't get to pick what you saw, and you didn't get to see when you wanted to see. It would have be frustrating for Sar. Which is probably why he wasn't a seer in the first place.

It would have been nice to be able to see the past and learn everything a Historian was suppose to know, but that wasn't going to happen. He still needed to find a mentor apparently. No short cuts into the future he wanted. He'd have to talk with Dad or Mom later.

Sar listened to Tala's questions as his own started to become manageable. He was still curious, but the need, the urge to know more, to know it all, to learn it all was satiated. Or getting there. The lioness provided answers that were logical to the questions. That helped.

She might admit to being a little surprised the young male hadn't asked questions this time around, but Kwasi just focused on the red cub instead. "I may have met one other seer, but he wasn't in the pride. That doesn't mean I don't know other seers, I just might not know they are. Maybe even they don't. As far as I know, no one else in my family is a seer." She supposed she couldn't know for sure, since she had little connection to her father's side of the family. She had met her father, Matifu, and he had been a nice guy, and she had even liked him. But he hadn't been really involved in her raising, and she admitted to knowing little about him.

"I do have 'normal' dreams, and yes. They feel different." Kwasi nodded, thinking that had been an interesting question to ask. Well, both these cubs had asked good questions! It was nice to know they were curious. "Now it's my turn. What are your names?"

Tala thought the older lioness' question was comparatively lame. It had nothing to do with the subject matter! But it was still valid, she supposed. It was nice to know the names of people you were talking to. "My name is Tala, and this is my friend, Sar!" She introduced both of them happily, and bumped the male's shoulder for emphasis on the fact that they were friends.

Sar bumped Tala back affectionately but kept his focus on the lioness. "If they don't know that they're seers, then they must be weak seers. Which means that you but comparison are a stronger seer. And you say that you're not that strong, does that mean a stronger seer could decide when and what to see? What's your name? How did you become a seer if the others in your family aren't? If its not passed down through family, then maybe it was placed on you from a god or goddess? Or did you hit your head when you were younger and you gain your visions because it loosened that skill or trait out of you? Were you poisoned and instead of killing you it enhanced your sight into visions making you a seer?"

Aaand he was back! She chuckled lightly as Sar launched back into questions, and thought about the order of her answer before speaking. "Or they have visions and simply assume they're vivid dreams." She suggested, because initially that is what Kwasi had thought of herself. "I suppose a stronger seer, or a more interested one, could hone their skills, perhaps, and gain more control over what they see. My name is Kwasi'roho, it is nice to meet you." A more unrelated answer thrown in there, but that was the order in which he had asked!

"I don't know how I became a seer. I never fell on my head," At least not until after she had first started having visions. "Or been poisoned. And I've never met a god or godess, so unless they did it hidden... It could just be random." That might be an unsatisfying answer, but Kwasi'roho had long accepted that not everything happened for a reason.

Somehow, Tala couldn't think of another question. She just watched the lioness as she answered the questions, then Sar for a bit, then the lioness once more. Then the red cub grinned. "This is really cool. And interesting." She observed, useless as it was, thumping her tail against the floor.

"Knowledge is strength. It shows how your mind works and how open it is. That is true strength. The fact that they'd don't know they are seers or refuse to believe their own visions is a weakness." Sar answered honestly without thinking. He often didn't think before stating his opinion on such matters. Honesty was usually the best answer anyway. "But it still sounds like it is pass down via your family. Maybe its more like a gene that is passed down from the great great great great great grandaunt instead of parent to child." That made more sense than random. Nothing in nature was random. They were adoptation from the original makeup of a creature for survival, but not random. Random was only used on the traits that didn't survive to be passed on and if there were other seers in the world, then that wasn't random. They still survived.

Sar looked over at Tala and nodded. It was an interesting in fact of knowledge learned. "Why does it sound like you didn't finish your statment, Tala?" He whispered to her, forgetting how close Kwasi'roho and thus how likely it was she'd be able to hear him whispering. He was thoughtless at times. Even he had to admit that whenever he was faced with little things like that.

This was a thoughtful cub. Kwasi decided she liked him. But she didn't completely agree with him. "It could be something I inherited from an ancestor. Or not." She said with a shrug. Not everything in this life could be explained simply by logic. She was happy enough to accept that she may never know

Frankly, Kwasi would have been happy to stay and chat a bit longer, but a small commotion up ahead caught her attention. Looked like it involved one of her cubs. Hmmmph. She frowned, time to go be a mother! "I'm afraid I need to go now." She sighed, getting up onto her paws and looking down at the two cubs. "If you ever wish to talk again, feel free to ask!" with that she left the two, heading off to solve whatever was the problem.

"Bye, Kwasi! Thank you!" Tala called politely as the lioness left, a bit disappointed that it had come to an end. Stupid other cubs, distracting her! With a shrug, Tala turned to Sar instead. Didn't finish her statement...? She tilted her head curiously at him, as if not totally sure what he meant.

"I dunno. I was just thinking... would you want to know your future?" The idea of being able to see the future was intriguing. If she were a seer, could she see where she would be a few years from now? Where her family would be?

The departure was kind of sudden, but she was a mom lioness so, her cubs came first. Even before knowledge Sar guessed. He said goodbye, but was completely focused on Tala.

At her question he thought about it, but he'd already made up his mind. So he shook his head shortly after the question. "No, I would want to know the past. I've heard that the past repeats itself and if you know enough of the past you can predict the future. Not that I'd want to. That wouldn't really be much fun, but you could."

Oh, that was a pretty interesting idea. The past repeating itself. But that also meant a lot of the bad things that had happened could simply happen again. For a brief moment that was upsetting, but soon enough Tala realized that it didn't matter. Bad stuff would always happen, anyways. She shrugged and stretched, because she had been lying on the floor before, then sitting down, so now she felt like stretching.

"Nah, I don't think I'm a seer, anyways. Besides, I think I'll just see things my own way." Maybe one day when she was older she could go and travel and see a lot of cool things! It was better than dreaming it all. "Well, anyways. Let's go find something!" It wasn't a very specific suggestion, because frankly, Tala had no idea what exactly she hoped to find or learn. But sitting here wasn't going to get them anything interesting. "C'mon," she said, then scampered off to find 'something'.
