Bix just sort of patted Marcus awkwardly. Man-hugs were weird. "No problem. Honestly I never even hear anything. Unless you deliberately talk against the wall they are pretty effective."

Bix shrugged. "You better uh.. get to work on your romancey s**t. Right?"

Later, Bix would find a box of candies and chocolate waiting for him with a simple card that said 'thank you'.
Marcus also added a card that said 'no homo'. Just in case.
