"Alright then," Shayde smiled while folding his wing in just to jump into the air as a gust of wind hit him, his wings snapping back out and catching the updraft. "Let's get going then. I hope you'll like this place. My dragon who lived in a cave in that direction, asked me to give all of his valuables to a dragon with a human parent. The first dragon I was planning to give it to got bought and I couldn't find any others anywhere so I was lost on what to do with his treasure hoard. I seriously don't need an angry dragon spirit chasing me."

 Allannia flapped her wings, lunging herself into the sky, enjoying the breeze as the wind gushed under her wings, her face softening as she smiled, she was always happiest when she was flying. Allannia flew circles and barrel rolls as she fully stretched, a soft whistling song sounding from the air passing over her feathers and scales.

"I knew you'd be happier if you could stretch your wings out and just fly around," Shayde chuckled lightly while hovering in place, his gaze watching as Allannia enjoyed flying about. After a few minutes of letting her just enjoy the sky, he went up a bit higher and glanced around. You could see almost everything that his family, now only him, owned. "Let's see... This land is called Arinas, I think... It's either Arinas, Dusis or Kainaldia. I can't remember which. It became a forgotten land until about... Three thousand years ago. That was when my great-grandfather and his step-brother found it again. We became the owners of this land and haven't been bugged here ever since. There's an entire forest over there to the east with a lake in the center of it, some mountains to the north with plenty of caves in them and some waterfalls on it, a bunch of rolling plains to the west and a coast to the south. There's a desert over the mountains also. This is more like an island than anything else and it's about... A week's travel away from the mainland."

Allannia looked around as she flew circles, not wanting to hover, she seemed more interested in the mountains an forests than any other parts of the land. "So, where is the cave that the dragon lived?" she asked as she continued to fly around.

"It's over this way," Shayde answered while moving forwards and heading towards the woods. He moved relatively quickly through the air before his black wings hued with red and blue folded in on themselves a bit. When a cave opened up in front of him, he continued on into it, landing on his feet relatively softly and quietly. He removed his boots and let his wings fold back against his spine before waiting for Allannia to come in.

Allannia followed Shayde, as she neared the ground her wings flapped down wards as she extended her legs, her dragon feet gripping the ground as she folds her wings. They shuffled a bit before settling, the golden feathers and scales gleaming a bit in the low light. She entered, her dragon eyes examining the cave walls, "I can see why he stayed here" she said softly, showing respect for the late dragon who lived here before hand.

"He had good taste in just about every area of expertise known to man. One thing though... His treasure hoard comes with a few extra additions to it than I'd like to hand out, but he'd been taking care of them for a little while so I didn't want his hard work to be wasted... I've been keeping them alive with fire magic, but I don't think I can keep at it much longer without falling way behind in my job," Shayde murmured softly as he headed towards the back of the cave and disappeared behind a wall at the back. After a while of walking silently through what seemed like never ending tunnels, the room expanded quite a ways where gold, silver, every gemstone imaginable, swords, armor and many other shiny objects lay scattered about in large piles. In the center of the room was what looked like a nest holding about five or six eggs that seemed relatively small for a dragon's eggs. Several little fire demons hovered around the eggs as they simply let their fires dance around the eggs. "I get distracted sometimes and Finni has to remind me to summon up these little fire demons to keep the eggs warm.... I'm not even sure if they'll hatch or not or even if they're dragons or harpies, but he'd be sad if I didn't keep trying to hatch them. He was a kind dragon so I figured I could fulfill his dying wish and give his treasures to another dragon."

Allannia stopped the moment she saw the eggs, staring at them the entire time he spoke of them, her tail and wings not moving. "Where....did he find these?..." she asked as she slowly walked forward, kneeling in front of them, gently stroking the multicolored shells, her eyes softening quite a bit, her tail naturally curling around one as she looked at each and every one.

"I'm not sure. One day he was just stacking coins in here and the next he was getting really defensive asking if I was going to take them away from him..... I told him he could keep them which made him really happy, but if I asked where he found them... He would glance down at them so sadly and I would drop the subject," Shayde answered with a light smile while sitting on a wooden chest filled with gold, silver, gemstones and jewelry. "So you don't mind taking care of them and keeping his den in his place?"

Allannia looked at him, a tear that almost shined like a diamond traveled down her cheek, "Yes, I will be responsible for this entire cave and everything residing in it" she said as she shooed away the fire demons, blowing gently as the rocks around the eggs lit on fire, keeping them hot, almost glowing white.

"Good, good. I'm sure he would be glad to know that these little ones would be well cared for," Shayde hummed lightly before starting to mess with his mechanical arm a bit. "Are you alright, Allannia? I didn't mean to make you feel sad or anything like that let alone spring this up on ya. I just figured you might be a little hesitant if I mentioned that he'd been caring for some eggs before passing on... Some just don't care to take care of abandoned nests, whether the parents just left or died... He said about a month ago that they had a month or so before they would hatch and if they didn't around his general estimation of time, then they most likely never would. If there's anything you need, just let me know..." His gaze remained focused on where his skin met with metal instead of glancing back up towards Allannia. She kind of reminded him of the male dragon that had once lived here and it made him a bit sad to find the similarities so easily.

Allannia pushed some gems and coins next to the eggs, the dragon's flame catching, keeping the eggs hot, "You didn't do anything, I just hadn't seen eggs in a very long time..." she said as she stood, knowing the flame would last a while. She then looked at Shayde, something in her eyes showing that hadn't been there since she was a hatchling herself. "Thank you for watching over them, the fire demons kept them alive, but dragons fire is the only thing hot enough to hatch them" she walked over to him, placing a hand on his mechanical arm, her skin smooth and milky like that of a young maiden's, her nails delicate looking, yet showed the sharpness of claws. After a few seconds she quickly drew her hand away, turning to face the eggs, 'Why did I just do that? I never get close to anyone...' she thought to herself as she watched the fires dance around the eggs.

"I'm glad to know that it wasn't my fault that you started tearing up. It also makes me glad to know that I've kept them alive while looking for a dragon," Shayde sighed softly before finally glancing up at Allannia again with a dark blue eye. "Thank you, Allannia... Kowloon was a very good friend of mine and I would've hated myself if I'd let him down. I would've hated myself if I'd have let these little ones die because I couldn't give them the warmth they needed..." He breathed in deeply before standing back up and lightly squeezing Allannia's shoulder with his left hand only to smile lightly again.

Allannia jumped when he squeezed her shoulder, a hiss sounding from her as she backed away quickly, but she stopped as she stood there, holding herself as she looked down at the ground, "I'm.....sorry" she whispered as she stood there, her tail wrapped around her tightly, wings close to her as she wrapped around her shoulders. Allannia then just quickly ran out of the cave, jumping to the air as she took flight, flying as fast as dragon's wings could take her. The air almost hummed with the sound of the whistling coming from Allannia's feathers and scales.

"That was odd. I hope she'll be alright," Shayde murmured softly before letting his wings slide out and fly him rather quickly out of the cave and out into the air. He swiftly made his way to where Finni and Pluto were wrestling yet remaining hovering in the air. "Finnian, if you see Allannia anytime soon, let her know I'm in the castle working. I think I might've spooked her a bit, but since you're better with animals, you can keep her relatively happy and keep an eye on those eggs still. Thank you." He didn't really leave much room for debate on the topic before heading off to the castle as he said he was going to do.
