Soul xxxSkimbleshanksThe two newbs entered the hall and were hit with a wall of pink. Soul gave a short huff but continued into the event anyhow, dying to meet some other guild members and get socially involved. Skimble thought otherwise and quickly separated from Soul and decided to skulk in any dark areas that were possibly untouched by all this pink. Soul took in his surroundings and was surprised by all the colors that the guild Pokemon wielded. Not that he expected anything normal after meeting Skimble. Either way, he began to look everyone up and down and pondered where to start. Of course, his stomach gave a loud grumble of anger and he realized he had been neglecting his poor appetite. He followed his nose and picked out his prey. He began stalking a poor little pink cupcake with red frosting. "You. Are. Mine." Normally Soul wasn't so energetic, but he was hoping to strike up conversation, and although his parents taught him the way of the warrior, they did not teach him socialization.

Team Lorelei A rather observant Alex leaned against, looking about at everyone, seemingly taking mental notes. The way he saw it, it was easier to talk to people if you knew how they acted and their personality! Amy, meanwhile, moved over to the snacks and drinks, grabbing a cupcake. She looked about as she ate, her eyes settling on a growlithe who seemed to be hunting a cupcake. Watching him intently, she ate her cupcake, waiting for his next move.

SkyeSilver-tipped ear twitching, Skye padded into the party in silence. She shook lightly, fresh snowflakes falling from her silky violet fur. She was growing; one could tell from the new-found length in her limbs. She wasn't yet an adult, but she was much closer to getting there. There was a quiet grace that was often missing in girls her age, one that even her mother had failed to grasp. The emotional whirlwind that had been her parent seemed to have failed in catching the daughter. Instead, the young Eevee was perfectly presentable; clean and simple. A thin, dark ribbon was tied 'round her neck like a choker, a loose bow tying it off.
She was the only one of her team to attend the event, as the others all were spending the day with loved ones; or babysitting, in the case of Azra. No one really bothered to question what Gary was doing. The Slowpoke wouldn't have made a terribly exciting companion, anyway. There was a distinct lack of social etiquette or conversation, when it came to someone who was essentially mute. And slow. She cared for him, but again, he really wasn't her idea of a graceful companion. She'd have to find someone else to attend with. She wished that Luna had been still around. The Marowak might have made things more bearable. As much as she'd been Azra's tutor, she'd also been Skye's. Together, Kaiyou and Luna had helped to teach her a lot about the world. Her parents had been drawn to focus more on her sister, after her birth, so it was only natural that Skye was more like her other teammates than her own bloodline.
She caught a glimpse of a few familiar faces, but most she didn't know terribly well. It was her sister's face that drew her in most easily, but the Normal-type was cautious to keep her movements refined and relaxed. There wasn't much point in tearing off like a small child. It was only a matter of a few extra second, in walking to see her sibling. "Harumi, how are you?" purred the violet fox, her voice soft and calm. She felt considerably more at ease, now. With Harumi there, perhaps it wouldn't be as difficult to find a companion to talk with.
There were others bunched up about the group, a few of them seeming to be quite aquainted with the younger female. She didn't know any of them, in truth. There was an odd-looking Jynx, and a striking blue Ratatta. A dark-capped Ralts and an ornately-marked Umbreon hovered nearby, the latter seeming quite disgusted with the occasion in general. A Machop and Duskull hovered nearby, traditional red bands wrapped tight to their arms. A Mismagius floated about, looking oddly masculine for one of his species. It took Skye a full moment to recognize that the ghost was indeed male; certainly an oddity for his species. A few others were scattere about, along with a trotting, rainbow Rapidash and a green-pointed Pikachu... There were far too many people to count, mingling about the room.
Her dark gaze flickered back to her sister, settling down onto her haunches, and curling her tail lightly around her small paws. Her sister had built up a lot of strength; you could tell from the way that she held herself, and the faint lines of muscles in her shoulders that she was doing well. Skye felt a pang of shame at her own, soft and feminine form. She looked more like a delicate, porcelain doll than a warrior. She'd have to do better, if she was ever to earn much respect from any of the other guild members. A small, polite smile was on her face as she glanced about the group again. It would be very difficult to catch that it was fake.

xxx xxx Rani && Jordan && IsannaAlright peoples, this is Valkyrie's attempt to drag herself out of the corner of social phobia, so please be patient with her. ;u; Three new pokemon stepped into the clearing, having set themselves apart from the guild for quite some time, it felt almost strange to be back; Although, the strange feeling possibly might have been from the overabundance in pink decorations and fuzzy stuffed animals. The first team member seemed to be completely entranced in the adoring environment. She glanced around eagerly, pausing to swing the hair out of her face and glance around for any lonely bachelor she could possibly comfort. The glow of narcissism she radiated was near overwhelming. "Beautiful. They did a wonderful job with the decorations, don't you think?" she sighed, "I love valentines day." The nidorina only wished she had someone to spend it with. She did try for their team leader, but the pupitar had slammed the door in her face before she could even finish asking. The two that followed her appeared seemed only mildly interested in the party before them. "I guess it's a good chance to meet some decent women of the world." The jolteon scoffed and batted some confetti with the back of his paw. "You guys don't know how to have any fun. Especially you." he shot a look at his poochyena friend, who rolled her eyes. "Say what you like, but this holiday is nothing to be hyped up over." Isanna said in a matter-of-factly tone. "You do know why we celebrate Valentines Day in the first place, don't you? Well -" she started, not waiting for an answer, "There was once an ancient civilization of gardevior and gallade. Every year, on February 14th, the men of the city would come together and skin two captured ampharos and an absol." "Woah - wait, what the hell?!" "They would then dip the pelts into fresh MooMoo Milk and shred the skin into thongs. The men would then strip all of their clothes and run around town all day using these thongs, whipping the women's stomachs to bring fertility throughout the year." Jordan promptly flattened his ears. "That's horrible. The young woman shot him a sly smile back. "That's the truth." The electric-type shuttered. "Whatever. I'm getting something to drink," he muttered before padding off to one of the tables of refreshments. Isanna brought up her paw to hide her smile, unable to keep a small chuckle from escaping. She must have had a masterful poker face because the story she just fed him was complete tauros-s**t. "Well, thanks for almost ruining the day for me." Rani muttered to her teammate and beginning to walk off, leaving Isanna to laugh even harder for a minute before catching back up.

Soul xxxSkimbleshanksSoul, a warrior not a hunter, had no idea what to do next. He wasn't used to being sneaky, he was used to being brutal. His ear twitched as he realized he had an observer. Great, now he couldn't back down from his prey. He swiveled his ear back forward. You know, just in case the cupcake tried to run for it or attack him or something. Soul let the front part of his body duck to the floor, and left his butt up in the air. This was how it was done. His butt gave a little wiggle for some reason before he launched himself towards the cupcake. Too much power. He over shot it and landed smack into the wall. Soul groaned but quickly put a halt to it, he had a viewer and would not stand being scoffed at. Instead he huffed, walked right up behind the cupcake, and devoured it in one gulp. "Now that, is how it's done." He finally let his eyes fall onto his viewer, and let his piercing gaze read the small Pokemon. He had never seen such a creature before, but by the looks of it she was a duel type. Definitely a fire, he could smell it. He smacked his lips, not wanting any pink frosting being left behind and ruining his moment of brutality. Skimble watched a young and bright Jolteon make his way to the refreshment table. Skimble followed in the darkness, making absolute positive to not make a sound. For some reason this Jolteon intrigued Skimble's interest, and following to find out why was a new priority for this party. Nah, Skimble isn't a stalker.

~Eden
A lone Treecko made his way into the Guild Exchange as the sole representative to his new team in attendance. He walked along with nothing less than what could be described as a sheepish disposition, his one arm wrapped around his own waist cradling the other's elbow as it hung limply at his side. Sure, the concept of being an errand boy was less exciting than the assumptions of adventure he had in mind when he joined the guild, but he was hardly complaining to as much. If doing some grunt work kept him out of the front lines, than he was more than happy. Why did he even join the guilds anyway? The thought came to him but wasn't mulled over for too long as more of his focus was directed on weaving through the crowds of unfamiliar faces which he was trying his best to simply pass unnoticed. This regrettably didn't remain the case as the crowds thickened and he was forced to bump into one or two figures, most of which were larger than him and far more intimidating. Uggh, how he hated large masses of living beings shoved and condensed into a single area. Eden began to feel dizzy. Where where these damn 'presents' anyway? His objective here was to just show up, make an appearance, whatever the constituted, and get the goodies that usually came along with an event like this. He understood the concept of a holiday, but what was this 'Valentine's Day' all these Pokemon were celebrating anyway. All these bright babyish colors and decorations rubbed him the wrong way, but no more than any of the other Pokemon around him.

Beatrice - EmilyBeatrice half smiled at the Machop. "Technically, Obsidian isn't on our team, and technically, she's in my mind." The Ralts tapped the side of her head for emphasis. She sighed and grabbed a glass of punch from a table besides her. After checking that no one had drank from it, she took a sip. It tasted good... Like cherries and fizzy soda. Emily, upon finding no reaction from the Eevee, moved on. It seemed that her leader was having better luck than her, as Beatrice was sitting with a Machop. While waving back at her team leader, she almost fell on a Treecko. "Oh my god, I'm so sorry! Are you ok?" She motioned at his hurt arm. She flinched almost instantly at the personal question.

"Oh, ok." Hiro sad as he noticed a Rattata trip over a Treeko after waving to Beatrice. He chuckled a bit over her clumsiness. His older brother did the same thing almost all of the time. Of course it was thanks to an occasional Low Kick from some unknown force. Reajusting the red bandana tied to his arm, something any Team Reach member would get to differentiate one Pokemon from the other, the Machop added "I think your friend is having some trouble there." then smiled slightly. Lunar, his Duskull partner rolled his eyes. Looks like his Machop partner already found someone to flirt with within minutes. He had just finished a small bowl of candy. He floated down and passed a Poochyanna that had argued with a Jolteon. "Only upside today would be the candy." he said to the wolf as he got some of the punch. It was good, which was fortunate. He had drunk some really crappy punch before.

   Harumi - Victor - Aiden
Harumi sighed as her bodyguard proceeded to force Harumi into admitting that she was royalty. "Yeah, I'm a princess and s**t, blah-blah-blah..." The Eevee muttered, flicking her tail. She wished she was born to a separate family. As soon as the small Eevee heard the faint voice of her sister, she turned on her heels and sprinted to Skye. "Skye! Come on, I'm sticking with you today. This is more your type of holiday, anyway..." That was of course just a giant assumption. "And Victor won't leave me alone..."
Aiden's tail swished back and forth as he cracked a grin. "Of course I remembered, we kinda went through hell together," The Umbreon replied. "Soldiers often remember the face of the guy who fought next to them. I've been having PTSD for a while after Cresselia pulled all that bullshit, so I remember you guys~"
Victor simply crossed his arms and stood by Aiden, keeping an eye on the Umbreon. Harumi would be fine with her sister, but the Scyther had to make sure that this pesky Umbreon didn't make a scene with his love for love-making.

Erinn & Sereni & Rivia & Riley & Faran & Celus & Eon & Irilyss The members of Team MistMelody, aside from their two Leaders, arrived fashionably late to the Social. The group was buzzing with energy and excitement that Era had instilled into them throughout the day, and there wasn't a single one of them who wasn't happy to be here. It was a holiday after all, and holidays were for celebrating. They poured into the room together and took in the sights and sounds of the party with overall excitement. There were decorations and confetti in pink and red absolutely everywhere, so much that it was difficult to tell what the original color of the room had been. Many Teams had gathered already, and some conversations had been started up, giving the place a warm and happy atmosphere. Having received their warning from the Shinx monitor, the group meandered inside and gradually parted ways to mingle with the rest of the Pokemon that were around.
Erinn looked about at the many Pokemon who were wandering about, eyes wide with trepidation. He wasn't really one for parties but he'd gotten swept up in the excitement in spite of himself. The Paras swallowed uncertainly and looked around for some place that he could maybe watch the group unobtrusively and not be seen. He wove through the other Pokemon, his small size helping him to keep out of the group's notice. He was managing pretty well too, until his path to the less populated table in the corner of the room was suddenly obstructed by a Treeko who was bumped in front of the Bug Type's path. "Waaaah!" he yelped in astonishment, pulling back to avoid running into the Grass Type or the Rattata beside him. "S-S-Sorry!" he squeaked, knees knocking together as he looked between the two Pokemon he'd rudely interrupted. This was why he was afraid of going out in public, he always ended up making a fool out of himself.
Sereni made her way about the party, Rivia padding at her side. The Lanturn had taken the responsibility of looking after the youngest member of the Team while at the party, as she didn't really have anyone to meet with while she was there. It was Valentine's Day, and there was a certain Tirtouga who she'd met some time before and hadn't seen since. She was keeping an eye out for him as she made her way through the crowd, but it didn't look like he or his Team were there yet. She sighed, wondering where he could have disappeared to after that festival, but soon she pulled herself from the thoughts; it wasn't really her business what other Pokemon did with their lives.
The Sandshrew at Sereni's side also perused the crowd, not looking for anyone in particular, but looking for something to entertain herself with. Rivia blinked as she spotted an odd movement in the shadows nearby an odd looking Jolteon. Intrigued, the youngling padded off in the direction of the two, without a word to her chaperone, to see what she could see. The moving thing in the shadows was hard to pinpoint, but the young Ground Type was thoroughly determined to figure out what it was. Rivia crept on all four paws, mimicking the silence that the shadow-thing moved with, her wide eyes staring at the place where she'd seen it move first to try and catch a glimpse of the thing again. Oh! There it was, a little closer to the Jolteon at the table now. Was the shadow-thing trying to talk to the Eeveelution maybe? The Sandshrew crept closer to the wall where the shadow lurked, and came up until she was directly between where she'd seen the shadow move before and where the Jolteon was. With a brisk and certain motion, Rivia walked right over to the Electric Type and looked up at him curiously for just a moment before turning and plopping down on the ground beside him silently, staring at the wall intently as she tried to spot the shadow again.
Riley made his way toward the edge of the room, not spotting anyone to talk to upon first skimming the room. Besides, he had plans for later. It was Valentine's Day and he had something special in store for when Era got here. "Riley! Whatcha doing?" Faran bounded after the cloaked Eevee with a bright smile on his face. The Vulpix wasn't really old enough to be up for the whole lovey-dovey spirit of the holiday, but he was definitely happy to hang around Riley when he got the chance.
The Normal Type forced a slight smile for the sake of Faran. "Oh, you know," the Eevee said, "Livening up this party with a bit of magic." Removing his hat, Riley brushed a few sparkles off his hat before spinning it around and replacing it on his head. "What do you say, want to lend a paw?" The Vulpix nodded eagerly, and Riley chuckled. "Alright then, pick a card!" From beneath his cloak, the Eevee produced his deck and held out the deck of 52 for Faran to chose from. The vulpine happily obliged his companion, drawing one of the cards from the deck which Riley then folded back together and shuffled. "Alright, put it back in there now, once you've got it memorized," he instructed, and Faran obliged, replacing the card. "Now..." Riley said, putting the deck behind his back and pulling out what appeared to be a random card. "Is this the card you chose?"
A three of diamonds was in his paw, and Faran's eyes widened with delight at the sight of the card. "That's it, that's it!" he crowed, jumping up and down. "How do you do that?"
Riley laughed and patted the Vulpix on the head. "A good magician never reveals his secrets," he said with a smile on his face.
Eon made his way into the throngs of people with an amiable smile on his face. He was fairly neutral about the whole event, but he had no problem with meeting new people. He offered a few greetings to those who he passed through, but didn't care to engage any of them. The Pikachu fetched himself a glass of punch from the table, sipping it amiably when he spotted a familiar looking Pikachu and a not so familiar Skitty. Era knew that Pikachu if he wasn't mistaken; well, he may as well introduce himself. "Evening," he said with a smile as he approached them, looking rather like his counterpart, sans the wings. "This is quite the celebration, is it not?" There was a touch of sarcasm to his voice, but he wasn't necessarily unkind about it.
Irilyss skulked about the edge of the room, her expression thoughtful. She wasn't much for parties, but everyone else had gone so she'd decided to tag along. Now that she was there though, she honestly didn't know what to do. The Gardevoir regarded the the lacy pink and red decorations with idle bemusement, not in the mood to approach anyone but not opposed to talking if someone approached her. She traced the outline of one of the hearts on the wall, wondering about the very nature of this holiday. It was to celebrate love, but wasn't love a celebration one could appreciate at any time? Odd then, that they should have a holiday based solely on the celebration of a simple feeling. Or rather a complex feeling, if she had heard correctly about it. The Psychic didn't know it from experience, for she'd never experienced that emotion herself, but perhaps it was worth celebrating. Maybe someday she'd find out one way or another for herself.

~Eden
Eden was just beginning to think he was doing rather well in terms of evading what he considered to be a stampede of Pokemon in the overly congested hall. In reality the settings provided were rather nice, as with all guild sponsored events, and though attendees were coming and departing constantly there hardly was a population worth any concern. Anyone who was actually celebrating this day to its fullest would be off with there significant others enjoying time to themselves. This gathering however was beginning to come together as a scene for the less dedicated folk who were looking for a good time, perhaps some more than others. If Eden had any idea what this Valentine's Day being celebrated was all about, he would have more reason to get out of there as quick as ever. His orders were to make an appearance for his team though and that's just what he was doing--- "Gah!" He yelped out suddenly; and to think he was safe walking along under the assumption that if he kept his gaze forward he wouldn't be trampled on. He turned to face his attacker out of instinct, quickly realizing that it was probably best just to avoid the confrontation entirely and pretend nothing ever happened. Bah, now he was expected to actually say something, having made eye contact and acknowledged the apology sent his way. Well, at least it turned out that which tripped him up was a Rattata, one without ill intention too. His assumption from there was for the better, guessing that she was just trying to avoid not getting trampled down by some of the much larger Pokemon in attendance like he was. "It's fine. I'm fine." He quickly realized he was propping himself up in a way that could possibly imply he was injured; his one arm across his body grasping at the other. He found himself in this and many other similar stances often appearing as if he were embracing himself for comfort; as much couldn't be helped as it was just instinctual. Once realizing that his body language could be saying otherwise he casually let both of his arms drop to his side; a conscious effort which would probably revert back to its normal state sooner or later. "I'm sorry. I'm sure I was in your way. If it wouldn't be too much trouble to take up more of your time than I already am, would you mind telling me what this event is for?..." There was a horrible awkward pause before he picked up the pieces of himself enough to speak again. Well formed words for his age, but still sounding strange accompanied by such a prepubescent voice. At least by doing this much he was completing his assigned tasks. More specifically he was told by his team to show up, get hold of one of the grab bags often given out at these soirees, and socialize. Uggh, how he hated the sounds of that last bit, but he wasn't about to show anything less than gratitude and obedience towards his new team. In completing as much though he would at least figure out why such an event was taking place to begin with hopefully through his presented question. He wouldn't exactly consider himself the scholarly type, but knowledge of a community and their customs would probably be of good use considering he had plans of sticking with the guilds for a good while. Nowhere else to go and nothing better to do anyway.

Eros + Nephthys + Isis Iris had eventually trotted away from the party, s/he wanted to sleep or play...not to mention this place was getting a bit too crowded for his/her liking. The Rapidash then went back to the team rooms as s/he bumped into Nephthys, "You should go to the party~ I'm off to bed!" Iris then trotted away.
The Vespiquen blinked as she took the Rapidash's advice and buzzed into the room, the first thing she noticed was the assault on her eyes with the color scheme...but she eventually got over that, "Valentines vash hmm?" She then buzzed over to the concession stand, "Eto lyubov'." Nephthys mused.
Isis meanwhile just whistled, "Princess...wasn't expecting that." As Harumi went away, the Jynx shrugged and went to mingle...sort of. This bash was like in one of her trashy romance novels...Though she would still never mention said novels to anyone. She still didn't like the color scheme but all she had to do was just ignore it, "...Hm...What to do?" Eros meanwhile just gave a small smile at the memory of that...odd experience, "Yeah...I...I guess..." He replied with a stutter playing now with the hem of his 'skirt', he then glanced at Aiden, "Well...I'm glad you remembered~" He then grinned, "So I would guess this would be your holiday hm?" Eros asked changing the subject while holding a playful grin, "I mean....people would probably be all over you or something...I know I would~" Eros then blinked, where...where did that come from? He wasn't sure why he even said that...did...did evolution 'cause him to grow a spine when it came to situations like this?
...Huh. (Translator's note: Eto lyubov' means this is love is Russian~ Being Nephthys has a tendency to speak in it. ^^; )

Soul xxxSkimbleshanksSkimbleshanks quickly got bored in the pursuit of the Jolteon, not liking why the striking interest in the electric type was present anyhow. Skimble quickly changed course. The ears were pricked and at the ready from the words 'princess'. Really the narrator liked the attention from the other narrator Skimble sometimes played royal roles at night when no one was around to see, but now there was a real tangible princess right in clear view. She seemed to have an escort of some sort, a bug type that perhaps Soul could easily vanquish with his silly fire breath. Skimble preferred stealth over brawn, but that was just Skimble. Soul was different, a little too different for Skimble's taste. Either way, Skimble slinked away from the Jolteon, although could not help but double take. What was the serious interest tugging on the insides of Skimble? Ah well, a matter to be addressed at later times. For now, focus, the princess. What made this Eevee a princess? Was it the markings? Skimble could easily paste some of those onto the black coat that was often sported around. Or rather, hidden. Although Skimble did not want the attention, the power was something to hound after. Skimble made a very non-Skimbleshanks like move, and padded quietly up behind the princess. Skimble slowly blinked those large yellow eyes, twiddled the claws for a second, and then tapped the princess with a foot claw. Not sharply, just to gain attention. It was probably disrespectful to touch a princess in general, probably more so to do it with your foot.

Team Lorelei Applauding once Soul had downed the cupcake, Amy moved closer and approached the growlithe, a small wave as greetings. "Nice job taking down that dangerous cupcake." She started, hoping for a response. Alex, meanwhile, continued to observe, his interest piqued when he saw a Gardevoir enter with a group. She began tracing the outline of hearts on a wall, a practice that he hadn't noticed anyone else do. Shrugging, he slowly made his way over to her, looking aloof as he did so.

SkyeSkye shrugged. She really didn't know much about the whole event; it would be the first real Valentine's Day she'd ever really celebrated in her lifetime. She was more interested in the people around them, if she was being entirely honest. One didn't often see so many guild members in the same place, and a lot of the faces she caught sight of were pretty unfamiliar. She glanced behind them, catching the knowing eye of an older, silver-armoured Scyther. He was keeping an eye on them in such a protective way that Skye almost felt embarrassed. That was most certainly Victor, she realized. One didn't have to meet the Scyther to make the connection between a name and a face.
"So you brought your whole team along?" Skye questioned lightly, curiously glancing back. She wasn't entirely sure which one was Aiden, but it was likely to be the crimson-furred Umbreon beside the Scyther from before. He too, had rather ornate-looking markings. He wasn't bad-looking, she supposed, but he seemed a little too full of himself. Then again, that was exactly as Harumi had described a few days earlier. "Maybe you should have gagged Aiden before you brought him along," offered the young Eevee, her voice low and sly. She never meant any harm, but it might make Haru happier, and that was generally the idea of a holiday; joy.
She felt icy breath on her fur and twisted, just in time to see a small, odd-looking Sneasel tap her sister's shoulder. The elder of the two "princesses" twitched an ear, curious. The Ice-type's eyes were wide and unnerving, massive pupils seeming to have set their sights on Harumi beside her. His fur was darker than many of his species, and he seemed a little more gangly. Thinner. He looked as though he'd had a hell of a time just trying to survive, which in itself was an odd thing to see. It wasn't often that the guild members appeared uncared for or underfed. Generally, if anyone was ill or anything of the like, someone would help. No, that wasn't right. He didn't seem sick. Just... different. "Um, hello there," she greeted uncertainly, her voice still calm and polite.
He seemed very quiet; she honestly hoped the Sneasel wasn't mute or anything. It was bad enough trying to understand Gary, who wasn't that intelligent in the first place. It sounded mean, but she didn't mean it to be. She was just more concerned about the idea that she wouldn't know what the Sneasel wanted to say. Harumi was probably better at this than she.
