Horatio nodded. "Yes, I would be happy to stay with you." He was surprised that she grew quiet again, but he wondered how Amalthea would handle this. In some situations, females handled things better, but Amalthea might not be as excited to find how just how she was becoming a grandmother.
"We can sit here quietly, if you'd like?" He didn't mind.

In the end, Laelia decided she wasn't that surprised how her father reacted.. but she wasn't so sure about her mother. She only hoped it was her nerves making her worry, she was worried before telling her father, too. Perhaps the biggest concern would be when it got around to Grandpa and to Selene. Neither were fans of Yareha and both knew well enough about her relationship with him, especially Selene.
"Yes," she said quietly, leaning in a little closer, happy to stay right where she was.
